Skiing by the Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

This tour is $110.00. When we arrived we changed into our bathing suit. On our way to the Jet ski's Captain Ivan got a call and five other people were heading our way for the same tour. We waited until they paid and got themselves together for the tour. Anyways, when we were all ready, captain Ivan gave us a little tutorial on what to do and what not to do. The five girls that came on the tour weighed over 200 pounds. Some of them weighed over 300 pounds. That's ok. I'm not a small girl myself. Anyways, Captain Ivan gave us some instructions and told us to stand up on the Jet Ski and stretch our arms out to the side. One of the girls couldn't do it, because she was extremely over weight and she had knee problems. Captain Ivan said to her that she should not be on the tour if that's the case. She insisted. On our way out Jet Skiing out to Old San Juan, the over weight lady fell off the Jet Ski. Well, let me tell you something, it was hell trying to get her back on that Jet Ski. She was floating in the water for like 20 minutes and It took us approximately 30 to 45 minutes to get her back on the jet Ski. When she finally got back on, her whole ass was out on the Jet Ski on our way back. In the middle of the tour heading back, she fell off again. Everyone else on the tour had to wait another 30 minutes for her to get back on the Jet Ski. Long story short, this was not a tour, it was, in fact, a rescue mission. Captain Ivan was also mean and frustrated with the lady. He had no patience what so ever. No compassion at all towards her and that was wrong. I understand that he told her she shouldn't be on the Jet Ski but come on, shes a lady. I believe he should've had an assistant with him, just in case, something bad happened. It was him and 6 or 7 women at sea. But in the beginning of the tour, he will tell you that you're riding at your own risk. Captain Ivan lost his camera and his sunglasses during the rescue mission. I wanted to make a memory, so guess what? i told him to take me back out so that i can get some pictures to blog about. I think that was the right thing to do and he did. That's why I'm giving him two stars and not one. I would definitely do another Jet Ski tour but I know it will not be with Captain Ivan. It's a fun tour to be, but please be selective with your tour guide :-)

Capitan Ivan was a wonderful guide. Enthusiastic and full of energy, he made the entire experience exceptional. Unlike any other Jetski tour I have ever taken before. In addition, the pictures are sooooo worth it. You get images and angles you will otherwise never get with a selfie. I have angles with historical locations in the background, jumping off the JETSKI and funny poses with my husband. Absolutely priceless pictures. You won't regret your decision to ride with Capitan Ivan.

If you come to San Juan and get on a jet ski anywhere but here.l, you are making a huge mistake. This tour so much fun. I was a little hesitant but the owner will go out of his way to make sure 1. You find the location 2. Make sure you get the most for your money. Why is this place great? 1. It lasts longer than any other tour 2. He has so much energy 3. You get to jump in the ocean 4. You learn about the island of PR You're missing out of you don't take this tour. On the way back he let's you go as fast as you want!!

Seeing San Juan as the marauding invaders did, oh, sorry, not the tourist behind me, I meant the Imperialistic Spaniards!!!

Aquatica Pirate Adventures is perhaps the best Jet Ski tour you'll find in San Juan. "Ivan", the Captain, owner and chief pirate will take you on a tour adventure sprinkled with historical facts about Puerto Rico during the early days of occupation by the Spaniards. Ivan is passionate about the story he tells, remember, this is a tour, but, he is also cognizant of his pirate crew, and their yearning to open the throttle. This was my 3rd visit and it was as thrilling as the first. The ocean swell were narly, and we took it out to the open ocean... Can you spell "air time"!!! 90 mins of pure adrenaline. Captain Ivan, I'll see you again when next I return to this beautiful island. Errrrrr!!!! Oh!! And the pictures were awesome!!!

Well worth it! Professionally managed and top-notch equipment. The tour is 1 1/2 hr long in Jet Ski around the are of Old San Juan and Isla de Cabras. Capt. Ivan puts a lot of energy into the tour and keep everybody engaged. He takes pictures with his digital camera which he sends to you within a day through the Whatsapp app. I had the opportunity to go in the tour with my 14 yr. old daughter on 7/24//15. Give it a try!

If you want the VIP tour of Old San Juan with an incredible experience, this is the place to be! Don't pass up the opportunity to be a pirate for a day. Captain Ivan makes sure that you are safe as well as having great time. Get your sea legs under you in the bay and then take the action into the Atlantic. Do not pass up on the pictures! Your friends and family will not truly understand your experience until they see the pictures for themselves. I will definitely be taking another pirate excursion on my next trip to San Juan.

    Fun!!!!!

You must do this if you visit the San Juan area. Captain Ivan is so much fun!! He takes you all the way to the first point of the Bermuda Triangle!! He makes stops at the most beautiful land marks in Puerto Rico giving a brief background story about our beautiful culture and takes great pictures of you. The water was rough but that's what makes the ride so much fun! I will definitely visit Aquatica again. In my opinion it is worth the price because it is 90 minutes long which is longer than what most other jet ski companies offer. Loved it and it was definitely a highlight of my trip. :)

This tour was a time of a lifetime!!! Captain Ivan was awesome! He was extremely entertaining and caring. My boyfriend and I rented one jetski, but of course I wanted to drive (even though it was my first time on a Jet ski.) DO NOT take this small water mobile for a joke. This thing goes super fast and the waves rock you back and forth. If this is your first time on a Jet ski, it may startle you like it did me (or not, I was just paranoid because I didn't want to tip over). Anyway, Captain Ivan guided me through the timidness and the ride ended up being marvelous! As long as you let loose and go with the flow of the Jet ski, it's pretty easy. I enjoyed every bit of the tour and was fascinated by how far we were able to go out into the ocean. We're actually thinking about doing the tour a second time before we leave. That's how amazing it was.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing day on a private island then this may be the trip for you!…read moreThis is a group tour that travels with more than just those you booked with. As long as 15 people are on the tour, they will take you to your Calebra. If less than 15 you stay local! There were well over 15 so we were able to tour Calebra. It was so beautiful! Once you get there, they pick you up on a ferry to take you to the boat . The boat travels for about an hour before getting to a private island and that is where you get the guided snorkeling or diving tour depending on what you selected! My friends and I did the snorkeling. As someone who can't swim (I know I know lol) I had a great time. The tour guides were very informative and helpful for all ages and swim levels. They do provide fruit, cold cut sandwiches and rum punch and when you stop . If you're looking for a "party" boat then this may not be for you. Don't expect lots of liquor and twerking etc it's a family type tour, Some of my friends were a bit disappointed by the price expecting that we'd stop somewhere that had a bar and restaurant but it was just a private island (we're in our high 20s low 30s). So idk I think it depends on your expectations but I was okay with everything and the service was great!

We were told we had to first buy and complete the course work through PADI and from There they would do the water/ dive sessions and compete the certification. The shop also gets a kick back from Padi as work since it makes u select a dive shop where ur course work is sent to. Once we complete the course work, we each reached out to the dive shop about 2 - 1 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule the dates and times for the water sessions. We did not receive any type of response back from the shop. We attempted to message on whatsup as requested but still did not receive a confirmation or any type of communication. We called down to the shop, where we were told to just text them. We again tried to text the shop but did not receive any response. We flew to San Juan and arrived and immediately went to the shop, we were told to text them and they would get back to us.. we asked directly if they had availability and we were told they would check and get back to us via text.... A day goes by, we attempt to call and no response.. fully we get a text saying they are fully committed...... This was without doubt the worst type of un-reliable customer service and a refusal to communicate.. I would not trust this dive shop or operation. They should never have told us to use to do the course work with their shop and then refuse to complete our certification. Luckily Scuba Dogs next door came to our rescue when we told them about the horrible customer service we received. Just be aware this shop will not be reliable.

You'd get a text message reminder a day before the tour and they would ask if you have food restrictions or allergies. You'd also get a reminder where the meeting spot is. We met at Banco Popular, introduced ourselves and went our merry way to the 5 different food spots. Pablo ordered the food before hand so that when the group arrived at the different restaurants/places, the food was ready and we did not have to wait that long. Our first stop was Cafe Cuatro Sombras where we had coffee and croissant ham/provolone cheese/guava butter. I liked this croissant with a hint of tanginess/sweetness from the guava. Noncoffee drinkers had options of lemonade and tea. Second stop was Señor Paleta. There's no indoor seating here so we had the delicious parcha (passion fruit) popsicle. Yum! Very refreshing, great for this warm weather! Third stop was Cafe El Punto. This place has a lot of artwork by local artists. We had ceviche de pescado and alcapurrias de la casa which were nice. Fourth stop was El Patio de Sam where we "made" our own mofongo. We had fried plantains and garlic butter, mashed them in a mortar and pestle, and added the chicken before turning the mortar upside down to get the mofongo. This was flavorful and had more moisture compared to another mofongo we had. Last stop for dessert was Vaca Brava. We had flan which was nice. We enjoyed the food, the tour, and the conversations. Great experience here.

**This is a fairly long review - but highly informative!**…read more I booked an El Yunque hike with Pandora a few months ago based on some reviews I had read - and my wife and I are glad that we did! Our driver (and owner of the company) was Eddie. I got a couple of follow up texts and emails from Eddie confirming our pick-up time and a text 20 mins before we were supposed to get picked up...gotta love that follow up! We started out for the hike about 10 mins earlier than expected. We were supplied with water, soda and fruit for the trip. Along the way, we were given a lot of information - current and historical - on the areas we were driving through and the island in general. Once we got there, we watched a video on the rainforest that really tied together the information we had received on the ride in. We then trekked it up the mountain in the van until we hit the trailhead. The hike from the La Mina trail was amazing! So many photo-ops, plus there's a waterfall (wear shoes good for hiking and water of you're going to swim). The trail was mostly down-hill and paved....but it was closed at the waterfall, so the walk back was uphill and a little rough. Don't let that deter you ....We wouldn't have traded the experience for anything! After the hike and more photos on the way down the mountain (which lasted about 90 mins total), Eddie took us over to a local eatery near the airport...the food was great and cheap (even if we got the world's worst waitress! LOL). After lunch, we headed back to the hotel. Eddie asked us what we were getting into the rest of the day, so we told him we were headed to Old San Juan for the afternoon. Eddie offered to give us a ride down there (which we gladly accepted). He allowed us time to go up to our room and change before we left. He picked it's up in his personal car and drive us over...still giving us great information about the island, and also life - advice we will surely cherish. He left us near the docks - and I must say, it was a little sad ending our time with him. It was like being with an Uncle you haven't seen in a while. He really takes care of people, and seems to genuinely enjoy what he does. He puts a lot of hard-work into perfecting his craft as an excursionist and it really shows. I know it has already been said in another review, but we honestly do feel like we have made a friend in Puerto Rico, and will definitely be calling WHEN we come back! Thank you very much for your time today, Eddie...We thoroughly enjoyed it - you made our vacation extremely memorable and special!

My wife and I researched various tours and decided that Eddie was the one because he was willing to do a private tour with just us two to the top of the rainforest and Bacardi Factory. He went out of his way to make sure we had a blast! Our morning started with him picking us up promptly at 8:00AM at our hotel. He had fresh fruits, cold water, great service, and very good conversations. The night before he made sure we had all we needed before booking with him so we were all set as soon as we jumped in the van. He told us all about El Yunque and what we would see, while taking his time driving the crazy streets of Puerto Rico. Once parked, he made sure we stretched and took a few pics of us before starting the hike. We went through the trails taking all the time we needed since it was very muddy and wet. We went all the way to the highest rock and spent a few minutes admiring the view; then we went back down to see Mt Britton. He took a bunch of great pictures of us as we went through the trails and shared them on dropbox when we were done. After El Yunque he took us to Bebo's BBQ in San Juan which was phenomenal (he said it would be)! He then took us to the Bacardi factory and patiently waited for us to take the tour, all this and it was his birthday! We had a full day with him. He showed us interesting areas of San Juan on the way back to the hotel and we couldn't be happier! Eddie is a trusted, funny, respecting, fun, and caring tour guide! So much so that I feel we must contact him next time just to say hi and have a drink even if we do not want to go on any tours. One of the best things about Eddie is that he is VERY flexible with his schedule and he will take you anywhere (that is reasonable of course). I feel he is an excellent guide and companion which is great because Puerto Rico has gotten pretty dangerous over the years and it is best to be with someone who knows the area and the history, even if you just want to be cabbed around the island. We recommend Eddie and Pandora Tours with our eyes closed! We loved our tour!

We chose to do the El Yunque/BioBay combo tour. First you're picked up directly from the hotel around 9:30 am. They come straight to the lobby. You will be in a rather small shuttle and depending on how large your group is it may get cramped and stuffy in the shuttle vehicle. Lucky for me we had a great group that was a lot of fun. We really bonded in such a short period of time. First stop is El Yunque national rainforest. On the drive to the rainforest you watch a film that previews some of what you will be seeing in person and gives some historical info. Cruz brought us up to the very highest part of the rainforest so that we could hike mostly downward which is a hell of a lot easier and less strenuous. I recommend water shoes for the hike. You will stop at a waterfall and get a chance to swim around which was definitely the highlight of the day! After you leave El Yunque you stop at a strip mall of authentic Puerto Rican food stands. You eat (own expense) for about an hour and then go to a really nice beach for another hour and a half. After that you will be driven to the marina where you will start your kayaking. At this point the BioBay is run by a separate company. So I can't really include them in this review. All I will say is that the BioBay is not what you think it is if you have ever googled pictures of it. That's definitely not what you will be seeing on this tour. After you return from kayaking your original tour guide drops you back off at your hotel. All in all it's an exhaustive 12 hour day but it is an amazing experience and well worth the money!
