From the beginning, after contacting Pavers N Stones for a quote, they called back same day and I…read morescheduled them to come and help us with a side yard that was just gravel ( installed by the builder and not functional at all). We also had a backyard with a 40 degree slope and was difficult to access and navigate. Both owners Malika & Alex came out and listened to our concerns and shared their vision on how to transform our side yard and backyard slope into something that addressed all our concerns. They even provided one the spot renderings so we could envision what the final outcome would be. I can't begin to explain how they turned our project into something that is showcase quality. Their attention to detail and professionalism is of the highest standards. The crew were respectful of property, genuinely professional and they completed our project in record time. I think this company from the top, down to the crew are hands down the best company in the area.

His pricing was upfront and very reasonable. We had to end up building a retaining wall that we didn't originally plan for, but every project has its unknowns. Alex and his team were able to pivot quickly and get the job done with great attention to detail. I'm going to call him back this fall to get some trees as well. Highly recommend giving them a call.

It had too much water. Not sure if they were being cheap or mixed the cement wrong at the cement place. Second pour didn't dry correctly. Obviously. Cracks in most of the squares. I was really upset since we saw this early after the pour. We were told we had to wait a week to see how it goes. This place ignored my contractor and we had to wait almost another whole week and they charged my contractor more money. I called them the week we waited. And they used excuses that my sales guy was on vacation and that day the sales manager would call me back. He did not. So we got the re pour by Friday. And my contractor was charged for more of a pour. Not only should he have been reimbursed for dumping the ruined concrete he had to break up and dump, he should have been not charged for this third pour. Treatment of my contractor was terrible and they never called me back to explain why they were terrible. Still waiting for that phone call!

Ivan came with a firm knowledge of what needed to be done and executed flawlessly even when there were hidden bumps along the way... IE: HUGE roots we weren't aware of under the surface. Ivan didn't waver from his estimate, worked hard, kept a positive attitude and gave me a backyard dreamier than I could have imagined! He kept me updated along the way and put all my fears to rest. It's known that you don't usually go with your lowest estimate because they say you get what you pay for, BUT this was a chance I was so happy to take as I got superior quality at the lowest price. Any mess that was made along the way was also cleaned up without having to be asked. I would 100% use Ivan and his crew again and again for future work!

The bill shows up though on a regular basis........when they do come out, they seldom can follow even the simplest of directions. The boss is nowhere to be found. Today my Mom received a letter from these losers indicating they can no longer provide lawn care service (as if they ever did before) due to "increasing costs" and blah blah blah. I advised her this is the BEST thing that could happen as they are completely worthless, they hire deadbeats and ragamuffins and have NO idea how to actually run a successful business.

I contracted with this company after reading reviews, thinking that a landscape maintenance company…read morewould do better for my garden than a 'guy with a lawn mower' service. Ron Walker, the rep, seemed knowledgeable and it seemed the company was doing good work. He came out, measured my garden and gave me a quote and a contract a few days later, which I signed. Now, included in this contract under 'Special Services" were Irrigation (to be turned on in May and off in October) and Insect and Disease Inspect (to be done once per month). Irrigation was NOT turned on until JULY though I mentioned this repeatedly starting in May to the gardening team that came out weekly. It wasn't until I sent Ron photos of my DEAD AREAS of my lawn in July (only 2 months without water) that he finally came out and turned on the irrigation, doing a minor repair and only charging me $93 extra. Meanwhile, only 2 or 3 plants along my driveway died for lack of water. As for the disease and insect inspection, well, that was NEVER done. NOT ONCE. I brought it up to Ron, and he tried to tell me that insect and disease inspections were considered to be turf maintenance. Excuse me, but the contract schedule clearly stated that it should be done, but it was NOT listed under turf maintenance, which had its own section on the maintenance schedule. Anyone reading that schedule would rightfully assume that inspection would apply to my entire landscape. (And that's what the attorney I showed the contract and schedule told me.) There seemed to be an enormous disconnect in communication between the boss and the workers. If I wanted something done or something needed attention, I had to ask Ron for it. (If I asked his workers to do something, I would be directing his employees, and all they could/would do is tell him of my concern, which would then apparently fall on deaf ears.) If I called his office, I could leave a message.... but I'd have to call back or wait for him to call me. Why have an office if you're going to tell me to call you on a different phone number?? After losing 2 rose bushes (one they transplanted, after cutting its roots off -- gee, how was that rose going to survive??) and some of my driveway plants to the lack of water issue, I only lost 2 more roses because of irrigation issues (water aimed at rose leaves will encourage black spot, guys) and then... my beautiful Japanese maple, infested with I know not what insect is close to death. Maybe this company has too many clients for their workers to cover. I will say that Eddie and Ramon (José, according to Ron) were very nice people working hard but having no authority, couldn't really help when issues arose. I could tell them, but not ask them to do anything; all they could do was talk to Ron or some other guy there. The problems at this company come from the top down. In the interim, I've contracted with a different landscape company. When they came in to do the estimate, they had a lot of questions for me. "Why didn't they prune your shrubs? Why is your lawn filled with weeds? What DID your old landscape company do?" And the sad answer is, I paid Solitude Landscaping over $2,700 for landscape maintenance. And in return I received a yard so well-kept that I had to pay the new landscaper $1500 to clean up the mess, prune in preparation for winter, get rid of the weeds and TRY to save my Japanese maple tree. I'm sadly not able to recommend this company. They breached their contract with me.
