I have been working with Luis and his team since mid 2020. Since then, I have increased our service to my rental properties as well. The thing that keeps me loyal to him is his integrity and knowledge regarding his craft. Luis has a good eye and always views my property before leaving, contrary to previous businesses I have worked with that mow, blow, and run. I greatly value his feedback in the changes and maintenance of my landscaping. He always makes time when I have questions and charges fairly. The most recent projects we did this year was to remove bamboo in my back yard, which also resulted in ripping out my lawn, stump grinding the entire area to chop up the bamboo roots, and treating the soil before laying new sod. In addition, I replaced my front yard lawn with the same sod and had him remove 3 trees in my front yard as well. My past experience has taught me that this industry starts out strong and quickly moves into complacency, regarding needs and expectations. I have found that Luis clearly loves what he does and takes great pride in his work, as his reputation is extremely important to him. I am a loyal and appreciative customer and will continue to work with Luis for as long as I require landscape services. We hired Luis to take down a 30 foot tree that was leaning in my back yard after a recent wind storm. It was near fences and other trees in the yard. Luis came out the next morning, safely cut the tree down without damaging anything around it, cleaned up the area and finished in under an hour. Saints Maintenance owner Luis was hired for lawn maintenance on our Salem home once a month. He did good for awhile and then we noticed since April 2022 of having to contact him for when he would be doing the lawn maintenance. (1st red flag). I also asked him to weed/feed and reseed our lawn since last October and to date, this has not been done despite my gentle reminders. (2nd red flag) For the month of July he was a no show (3rd red flag) and he has not responded to my text message from 5 days ago. (4th red flag) Not good. Needless to say, I do not recommend Saints Maintenance to be a dependable and reliable company to use. read more

Luis does an amazing job on the weekly maitenance for my front and back yard. During our first meeting a few months ago to get a quote, he was very transparent on costs for maintenance and helped me explore separate cost-effective treatments for my withering lawn. Since beginning to work with him a few months ago, my lawn looks healthy and nearly patch-free! My yards and bushes also look very well-maintained. Luis is very responsive via phone call and text which is great because he's always open to talking through how we can address other landscaping needs as they come up (example: unwelcome gopher visitors, dead bird trophies from neighborhood cats, etc..). He also never pressured me to choose a specific landscaping plan and rather gives me several options based on my needs and gives me the space to choose. My husband met with Luis and he seemed a good fit to meet our landscaping maintenance needs and our budget. We scheduled a date for him to start on Friday, 4/30/2021 for initial clean-up and regular, ongoing maintenance every two weeks. Luis showed/no-called. He finally contacted me at 8:00 pm, and said "sorry I overestimated the needs of my regular customers." We are understanding and flexible people, but first of all we hired this company and scheduled dates. I believe that makes us "regular customers." Luis said he would need to reschedule, I asked for date and time and he said "possibly next week." Possibly? I find Saint's Landscaping to have been a poor choice. Luis has proved himself to be unreliable, unprofessional and disrespectful. This was a very disappointing experience. I was impressed with Luis at first but unfortunately he changed and wasn't completely honest with me. He told me that this job was a full day of work. After 4 hours he was ready to leave. During the 4 hours I pointed out several things that needed to be addressed. They weren't thorough with their clean up. After they left I went back out to see if they corrected the job and guess what, they didn't. They used a hedge trimmer to cut down the larger weeds so now my small dogs have a risk of being stabbed in the paws. What happened to pulling weeds? I'm a disabled senior living alone, otherwise, I would have done the job myself. They didn't move my heavy patio table back, damaged my fern, left weeds in my driveway and, left a mess on my lawn. I should have just paid half the amount for a half day. But then it would have been too much. read more

We needed 2 medium size size trees removed and we contacted 5 companies for bids. Luis was quick to reply and the first to supply us a quote. His bid was similar but slightly lower to large companies however we selected Saint's because of the reviews. They showed up within in a hour window. Trees were removed and all debris removed.
