Although I was unable to purchase any items during my once-over, I found this place a little bit barren. It's got the tools alright, but very few employees were hovering around the floor, looking to help customers. Even though I had no ideas for stuff to look at, getting out to look at something I hadn't looked at before since its change in 2021-2022 (forgotten when this was converted from an Office Depot), wasn't found to be too frightening. Value for quantity seemed fair, though some things are higher than others. However, where this chain seems to drop is in value for quality. Even though they have some of the better names, I remember purchasing stuff in 2020 at your Poughkeepsie location that didn't last 2 weeks - but that's a whole other story in itself. Walking into this location is like a maze. They have you enter through a turnstile once you get through the double sets of doors, and something I hadn't seen at most Harbor Freights in the past (to a point where not even Poughkeepsie's had this layout). It's a good thing this turnstile was still functional and didn't break. However, maybe in the future, I'll take a further look when money becomes available.

There are mail-in options for anyone needing (and more anonymous) service and custom printing for those folks who don't understand that if you don't take good pictures, machine printing is not going to save them. I needed 12 minutes of a reel to reel tape transferred to mp3. I called and asked if they do this,…read moreI was told yes bring it in. A week later I bring it in (1 hour there and 1 hour home). The person at the counter takes the tape and tells me about shipping charges and that there were rates at 1/2 hour increments (something the person on the phone never mentioned), and nothing more. 2 weeks later I get a call telling me I either needed to pick a half hour from the beginning of the tape or provide a counter number for location. If I were told this at the first phone call, I'd have never gone as I do not have that info. If they told me this when I dropped off the tape, I'd have never left the tape. This cost me 4 hours and about $50.00 in gas with nothing transferred.
