If I could give them zero stars I would. I was predominately sold a service of cleaning my own aprons every 2-weeks. On the first attempt of Aramark to clean the aprons they lost my aprons. When I contacted the sales representative who sold me the service, he told me that I had to reach out to main hub to chat with the district manager regarding this issue. I then proceeded to call and e-mail the main hub for weeks to no avail. Even more frustrating I was told by customer service that because the district manager Chris Stanfield (Stanfield-Chris@aramark.com) had technically e-mailed me (e.g. he did only to tell me that he's sorry and that he's really busy) that he had been following through. I subsequently just purchased new aprons because I couldn't wait any longer. When finally speaking to Chris he apologized for keeping me on the hook for over a month but told me that I had to continue with the service even though I had no reason to use them anymore. I proceeded to tell Chris there was no service if I didn't have aprons but if he wanted he could quote me a price on just towels. He told me he would get back to me on this but I never got a phone call. I only was billed for services that I've never received without a refund for the aprons. Well, this company is living up to his 2 star review. We placed an order for 4 employees over 6 weeks ago. I was told the coats were in and they came out to deliver and only 1 employee's coat order was correct. Of course, the sale rep. is stating she ordered and delivered what we ordered which is not true. Now I have 3 employees without coats and we work in a dental office. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We used them for our coffee shop in Allen. They were charging us for things we did not get and purposely showing up at times they knew our manager was not there so they could overcharge while the lower level baristas who did not know better were there. We cancelled with them because of this in March 2024. In May 2024, I am still receiving monthly invoices and they are still pulling money out of our account. Every month I reach out to their team saying we are stilling getting invoices, and everytime they ensure me they have it handled and our account is inactive. Then the next month I receive another invoice and we do the same dance over again. It is beyond frustrating they cannot seem to get our account cancelled OR get us refunded for services we did not receive. They keep saying our refund checks are in the mail, yet we never receive them. They are a horrible partner, especially for a small business. They are shady and have caused me nothing but headaches. I saw that my bosses review was recently removed. Yelp said it was due to the fact that it was posted in both the concord and oakland locations. Yelp also removed the picture of the sign truck I designed for him. One of the picture was posted by me, I however did not receive any notice that any of my content was flagged or removed. The big guys at Yelp should stop deleting negative posts from big name companies just because they want the money the big companies can give them. Yelp is supposed to be to help grow small business and to give the consumer and honest opinion from person to person based on experience. This is not fair or right in any way that big business with their fat wallets are controlling Yelp content. Aramark is a greedy crooked company that uses lies and has HORRIBLE customer service. NEVER EVER use Aramark!! After setting up our initial contract, Aramark forged....yes, FORGED my signature to lock us into another 4 or 6 years. I informed Aramark to terminate services, unbeknownst to me, was locked into another long term contract. Aramark attempted to hold me to the contract. When my lawyers sent them letters, they stopped picking up the soiled rags but continued to deliver against our wishes. The soiled rags created maggots, then flies all over the gym and throughout the juice bar. It was disgusting. Not wanting to throw the soiled towels away and be charged for them, I threw them out back in a sealed trash bag and made numerous requests for them to pick it up. When I left that company, the lawyers were still sending demand letters. Not sure what came of it all. Oh, and by the way.....Aramark promoted the Territory Manager, who was overseeing my account at the time of the forged signature, to District Manager. Nice. They never even informed me I was issued a new Territory Manager because no one ever checked up on our account. I am in the processing of setting up vending services with Aramark Refreshment Services at my new employment. Not my choice, I am being instructed to. For the past 2.5 months, I have been going back and forth with the Territory manager. Each times she sends me a new opening order to review 1) prices have been increased 2) new items that are not needed have been added 3) items I've told her we would supply were never removed. Our monthly service charge and equipment upkeep charges were increased. I think she was hoping to deal with a less observant person than myself. Shady!!!! I've used Aramark several times in the past for custom embroidery for hats, shirts and coats and have always been happy with their product and service. Recently I returned to have several work hats embroidered. The process of ordering is easy and the selection is plentiful. This is why I give them two stars instead of one star. The problem is everything takes a back seat to customer service. I placed my order nearly a month ago but it never arrived. During the process of trying to locate my order I was lied to twice. The first time I was told the order was boxed up but for some reason it was never sent but that it would go out that very day by rush mail. Again it never arrived and when I made another call which by the way is the only way to contact anyone because emails go unanswered I was told that the order had in fact "just been shipped out that very day and I will receive it by Monday." This was also a lie as it never arrived. I called again to be told the order not only had NOT been shipped but that there was no way of knowing when it would be shipped out because the warehouse has never responded to the original email. Basically the hats were lost and it was uncertain when they'd be found or shipped. So I was lied to twice about them being shipped. The last person I talked to was sympathetic and helpful but by then I was done with waiting. Needless to say I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I'm not sure what went wrong with this business but I won't be back. It's one thing to mess up an order but be honest about it and make it right. Don't lie to the customer and certainly don't make them wait so long that they have to cancel the order. Two weeks later I noticed a charge on my account from this business. They found my order and without my permission charged me for the hats and shipped them anyway. read more

One of the worst uniform companies to deal with. They'll mess up your order and say they'll fix it on the next run and still charge you full price and no matter how many times you complain to their company nothing is resolved. Even after we canceled with them they still were billing us and now after many many months of not hearing from them we get a call saying that we supposedly owe 4,000 dollars and the person on the phone wouldn't listen and said apparently we had to send in a letter if we had any complaints even though we spoke with several people at the company itself. They continued to bill us through September. Their billing system is never correct and they try to add additional charges but when you call the billing department they don't even know what the charges are for. Ever since they bought out Ameripride, the service has been the worse in all my 40+ years of working with uniform companies. They charge for losses for things turned in. They won't deduct errors from the invoices. Instead of having the manager sign when uniforms are brought in the invoices are e-mailed to accounting the following day with many discrepancies. Wanted to share a letter I wrote to their management after Mike, the service rep came to provide service and ALL uniforms were removed from our facility. Truly amazing how these people are still in business. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them!! John, It is unfortunate that you feel that other businesses operate in the same manner as AUS. There is a very well documented paper trail of all of the issues that have been brought on directly by AUS. If you had spent half of the time trying to resolve the many issues we have, as you do patting yourself on the back, you would probably have a happy customer. When engaging a uniform/launder it was assumed that AUS knew what they were doing. Clearly you did not. You blame your laundry facility for shrinking all of the uniforms, uniforms returned dirty, two week old "new" uniforms returned unwearable, charging for services never completed. The list goes on and on. Yes, we are in the process of changing companies and going back to Cintas. Per your contract you were going to receive your 30 day notice on May 31st as we will be fully on board with Cintas at that time. So, abrupt termination? Not sure where that is coming from. Invoices that will be unsettled or unpaid? Not sure where that is coming from either. I will repeat what Jessica has stated time and time again, the invoice that your driver leaves with us does not match your billing invoices so how can they be paid. The simple solution would be to actually communicate with us to resolve any issue you have. Again, we have gone above and beyond in reaching out to you, and no response. Your final concern "unpaid loss, Ruin, Restocking fee"? Unfortunately, that is all on you. We have repeatedly asked for uniform counts you were supposedly doing a 4 week count to "get us back on track". Uniforms were never counted and we were not provided the opportunity to inspect or count the uniforms that your driver removed from our facility. Your driver also took 1 pair of coveralls 3 shirts and 5 pants that do not belong to AUS. I expect them returned. Clearly, our two companies are not a good fit. I would give a 0 if I could. They are trying to bill us for a delivery we never received. The restaurant business was closed and we called to cancel services with Aramark Uniform Services several weeks in advance. We let them know our last date of business operation, as well as the last delivery we will be receiving and paying for. Aramark Uniform Services confirmed our last date of service. I paid off the last invoice and we assumed our account was closed. A few weeks later, we received another bill. It claimed we received a delivery when our restaurant business was clearly closed and not in operation! No one was in the building at the time they claimed to have delivered. We called to resolve this billing error. We asked for a copy of the invoice to be sent to us - as every delivery always gets signed off by a manager, that acknowledges the services promised was received. We also wanted to know for sure it wasn't a mistake on our part. As the date they claimed to have provided service was after our restaurant establishment was closed, the Aramark Uniform Service representative we spoke to on the phone assured us that the issue was resolved. However, few months later, we receive a notice that they turned it over to collections! We will be calling back and disputing this false charge. We never had any issue with Aramark Uniform Services prior to this, so I'm really unhappy. I hope this issue will be resolved with honesty and integrity. read more

The company I work for used Aramark Uniform services for their towel service. After over 6 months of the contract, we have yet to receive our full supply. We find numerous towels that are not the premium quality that we are paying for as well and often find dirty towels that did not look washed. We have weekly calls to their customer service yet no problems have been solved. We have had issues with services not being performed, lost rugs, and multiple unexpected and unannounced price increases. When we notified them that we wanted to change providers they stated that they needed to pick up the rags to give us a final bill. I love this company and the way they stand behind their products! We purchased about 20 uniforms for our business and within the warranty period, a zipper broke on one of the uniforms. I contacted Aramark and spoke with several very helpful employees, Linda and Evelyn. I was referred to Sandra who very kindly agreed to replace the uniform with the broken zipper. We are due to order more uniforms and it will definitely be from this upstanding company! read more

We have had nothing but terrible customer service from Aramark, we put our concerns into writing numerous times, unsuccessfully tried to resolve them, was told by our account manager incorrect information, dealt with management turnover after turnover with no communication, we ultimately decided to terminate our services and we are stuck with an inaccurate bill that was sent to collections less than 60 days after we received it because we were questioning it. Though Asilomar is located in Pacific Grove as is the office of UNITE HERE 483, the labor union that represents Asilomar workers, most all of the workers live in Seaside, Marina and Salinas. These communities will be hit hard without hospitality workers receiving full employment wages and benefits during the crisis period. As we know, many local hospitality workers are working multiple jobs. 40% of American working families are living paycheck to paycheck. You must constantly call for overcharges or just pay them and get on with your day. They don't improve services after poor feedback. We have turned in white shirts to the laundry and received them back with pink and yellow stains. Don't purchase or rent from Aramark. It takes constant calls to have invoices removed when they don't deliver anything. Worse your employees will have nothing to wear on a regular basis. They kept ordering additional weeks of spare uniforms just to try to have 5 days of uniforms a week for our employees to wear. Confirmed I must click a star to have this review post. Silver lining. Terrible! They loose your uniforms and then charge you to replace them! On top of that, once you're in a 5 year contract, they raise your cost by 15% after 6 months! I finally cancelled them and they charged us an addition $1,000 because they said they couldn't re-use the uniforms. This company should be arrested! They charge for service or products that they don't even do. We are being charged for fender covers weekly which they don't even provide us. There shop rags are the worst rags I've ever seen, holes, dirty and the return counts are rarely accurate. Mostly short, of what we should be receiving. The most deceptive company's I have ever delt with. Poor quality service. Salesmen well mislead you into a long term contact and you will never see them again. They will continue to increase prices yearly. We had nothing but problems with their service. Uniforms came back partly clean, stiff and smelled like chemicals. We returned half of our uniforms and laundered them ourselves they did nothing to off set our cost. there's pretty much nothing you can do except pay thousands of dollars for crappy service. Even worse is their billing. It got so bad I told them to put me on code only and I would write a check weekly. They still screwed up an invoice us and the bill does he were flight payments you made and then they want to turn into collections. We have been complaining to Aramark since the beginning of the year regarding not receiving the correct number of smocks. Our company is regulated by FDA and we need to have properly sanitized clean smocks daily. Yet Aramark cannot seem to provide 12 employees with 6 weekly smocks. There have been many weeks some employees have only 1 to 3 smocks per week. We have complained for 7 months now and still cannot get the right amount of smock. During these 7 months we also noticed that they sneakily added products we do not need or use and they have increased our weekly bill by 400% in the last 3 years. When I asked for a copy of the contract, they will not or could not provide it. After doing an analysis of their invoices I found that after approx. 6 months of service they raised our prices by 20% - no big deal and wasn't caught because it was $20 difference. The next year there was a 5% increase. But 6 months later another 25%. Then 5 months later 30%. And one week later another 15%. Then another 15% one year later. At the beginning we were paying about $125/week. Currently (3 years later) they are billing us $450/week. For basically the same service -very few changes in the number of smocks or rugs. I have been trying to correct this for some time now and in October they stated they would credit us back to the contract pricing but that has yet to happen. I stopped paying our bill in March 2018 because of the problems and poor communications on their end. We have been billed over $12,000 since March. However, if they go back to the original prices as they have stated, they owe us over $20,000 in excessive charges in the past three years. I was advised by Oregon Consumer Protection that this is Financial Fraud. I just received a copy of the contract from Aramark and it clearly states on page 2 that the "price increase on 3rd year of 3% only" read more
