The store has many drawers with a vast assortment of buttons, pins, earrings rings and other doodads that I wish I had more time to browse. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.

The only way to get out of this price category is to buy a very large set where the price per item drops significantly. At Ross, there was a reasonable selection. They had created this by simply breaking up a larger set, tacking on a buck or two and selling them separately. That's just what I need! I got the rectangular glass container with plastic lid and locking tabs for $4.99. It was the same with the colanders, the cook pots, the bakeware; they'd broken up the sets and you could purchase just the size needed with a selection from different brands. I don't often see such great choices and I wonder if they are timing their drops for Tuesday when they target seniors.... I also checked out some curtain rods; prices were running from $7 to $20 but given the prices the rods were unusually good looking. Pity they didn't have the size I needed. At the register the cashier inquired delicately if I was eligible for the 10% Tuesdays senior discount. You're a senior if you're 55 or over. Nicely done! The manager (possibly owner?) is very hands-on and her hard work is evidenced by a space that's clean, wonderfully arranged, and appealing to shop in. As I overheard conversations happening around me, I picked up on a sense of community...sure enough, I have since learned that ReVibe is connected to vibetogether.org, whose goal is "to create a positive impact in our community by bridging mental health and the arts. Our mission is to empower individuals through support, emotional well-being, self-expression, and community healing." The main shop is so organized and thoughtfully laid out that it feels like a boutique. Adult apparel is in the primary room, with smaller rooms for accessories and kid's clothes, books, and toys. For now, housewares are in a separate room to the right of the main shop, but there are plans to eventually tear down the wall separating the two spaces to make one large shop. Before I even left ReVibe, I was already thinking about doing a big purge at home so that I could bring donations in soon. I'd rather drive all the way from San Francisco to Benicia to support this shop than take my things to Goodwill or Salvation Army. ReVibe deserves all the support we can give!
