Ivan is the main guy from Arax Windows who worked with me. I had cracked windows, broken screens, and broken channel balance mechanisms, all due to old age. When Ivan came over to do his estimates, he skillfully disassembled the window components to accurately measure the dimensions with his tape measure and caliper. He honestly told us which parts are good, and which need to be replaced. His team came in a few days, at the time he promised, with the replacement glass windows and parts prepared, and they accurately and skillfully did their repairs in 4 hours, as promised, coming prepared with a variety of power tools and manual tools. His pricing was reasonable, and he gave discounts based on which parts were not needed. He is a cool guy and professional. I had a crack in my window and I called Arab Windows Repair. I set up an appointment with Ivan and showed the crack in the window and the window that would not stay open. Also asked to check and lubricate all windows since they are hard to open. He measured the window and check the window that would not stay open and shortly after I received an estimate. The office staff was very pleasant when I call to schedule the repairs. The day they came they took out the window and repaired it outside and brought it back in. Fixed the balance on the window and lubricated all windows, even did a screen repair. The price was very reasonable. The work they did was excellent. Do not use them!! My appointment was today (also never got a confirmation call yesterday confirming the appointment) and I get a call from Alex stating I wasn't home, I was and they didn't knock or call. He then called Ivan (who looks to be the owner) and then said they can't fix it. My balcony door is on the 2nd floor and you cant see the damage from the outside since its on the inside of the door. There was no arax vehicle driving around either so looks like they didn't want to come out and made any excuse to get out of it. Alex even mentioned the guy was still in the area so why wouldn't he come back? Because this company is dishonest and you should not give them your business. On a side note, I told Alex another company told me repairable he said "there you go, just go with them" and told me to "have a nice day" and hu. Very unprofessional. read more

I have an old apartment building in Aurora and was really stuck with many broken window crank assemblies that no-one in the whole state could or would fix. With Arax expert service to help me identify the parts and repair guidance with tips, I was able to have the windows fixed. This saved me from having to replace windows in the entire building (otherwise it would look terribly inconsistent). Boy what a mistake. Great on evaluating problem and doing a temporary fix Never got back to us on what costs would be for permanent fix. Finally after calling them several times we were told they are too busy for our small job. So they don't finish what they start and are not responsive to your calls. Forget them!! read more
