The tree developed 2 more slime flux locations on the exposed roots. When I asked them to look into it a 3rd time, I was told "you can not really TREAT slime flux, just keep the tree healthy". Web search supports this last perspective, but their last treatment made it worse. If you raise some red flags be careful if MR. CALDWELL comes out, because you do not want to interrupt him unless your willing to hear some poor customer service reaction in which he declares his years of experience over any questions that challenge their proposal or its justification.

They cut my tree and two of my neighbors trees several years ago and did a perfect job. I had them cut two more last week and again they exceeded my expectations, by far the best price, and the best clean up once they are done. They did such a good job I had them cut one at my dads house and they also took several down for the neighbors and everyone is happy with the work. I will definitely recommend and call them again! Cesar, the arborist that came to do the inspection and estimate for this work tried to do the pruning in a way that did no harm to any of the trees involved. One neighbor needed to have a 'weight reduction' on two trees as they were tall and swayed quite a bit in high winds. This service took about 15% off upper limbs, which also reduced the strain on the root system. There is a definite reduction of fear that these trees might come down in a bad storm. The other neighbor needed one 'dead' tree removed, and another live tree removed as it was leaning over a neighbor's property. The crew that did all of this work was there on time (actually early), Each worker was aware of the scope of work to be done. They were very efficient as each worker had an assigned task. The climbers used all of the safety equipment I could have imagined being necessary. Cleanup was very thorough, and left the properties in the same or better condition than when the job was started. Please note that Atlanta Arbor is covered with both liability as well as workers comp insurance coverage. I will certainly use them again as the need arises.

Always a practice of mine is to give the company a chance to fix it before I finalize my review. My weeping Chair to had caught a disease and was dying. The arborist Cory came out to diagnose that it was probably during a time when it was cold and then hot and one of the branches may have caught an infection. He recommended several treatments to help with its health, and give the tree a better chance of survival. I agreed and the first treatment was scheduled. The first person that came out was not focused because he treated the wrong tree and treated some bushes that weren't really part of the treatment plan. When I called the company, they explained to me that they had communication problems and the scheduler was different from the office doing the evaluation I also have a yard alarm in which I reinforced over and over again in Cory put in his notes that I need to be notified before the technician came out to treat my yard because I had to turn off the alarm before it called the police. The first treatment person did not do this because he did not read the notes that Cory had made in the work order I've been called out of my office to deal with the police, possibly coming out to my house because the alarm had been triggered Upon calling the office, Alex had apologized and said that the person did not read the notes. A follow up retreat was performed today by Matt a very experienced technician. I was very pleased with his knowledge and expert treatment of my tree! I have several treatments to go, so this review will probably be updated periodically.

They were priced competitively, took care of the permitting, and got the work done in a timely manner. Beyond that, they cleaned up after themselves and had our property looking immaculate afterwards. The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Northside does excellent work and I recommend them if you need a tree taken down.

They sent Joseph who took a look and then told me that he will fill out a permit with the city before he gives me a quote. He then sends me an invoice for $150 to file the permit. I emailed him back and asked for a quote, assuming that we can cut all the trees. I want to compare rates between other tree cutting companies. He ignored my email and never responded. None of the other tree companies requested payment to file a permit with the city. If they had told me in advance that they require a $150 permit to be filed first, I would not have asked them for a quote and would not have wasted about 30 minutes of my life showing the guy around the property.

The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because I called there office and explained that they can't block the road by having one truck on one side (the one they were actually using) and another one on the other side just parked with only a speed bump between them. Add the cones around both vehicles and no one directing traffic and there is an issue. If it's difficult for SSUV's to get through because cars are coming at them, even a small bus and u-haul are having issues school buses will have issues to. Plus the firetruck which are even larger are going to have issues. I will never recommend this company for tree removal service because their crew doesn't have the community safety in their plans. Plus they had a full 27 minutes to simply move the unused truck up a few feet, or put a guy out to direct traffic; but I my observation was dismissed. At least the young lady that answered the phone when I called the business seem to be concerned and notified the manager of that crew of the situation. Hopefully she was telling the truth. As for me I will not use them.
