She told me it may be the following Tuesday and I was grateful for her honesty. I received a call from Curtis on Monday, not Tuesday. He saw my home on google earth and we talked 20 min about my trees that he could identify online that I wanted removed and gave me a quote. I requested an in person visit to assure my choices were wise. He came that afternoon and educated me about native trees, why to keep them, pruning, the care of the trees I chose to keep, the time of year for best pruning, etc. Some trees I will now wait on till dormant season, I decided to keep most native trees after our conversation. The job was initiated the next day, Tuesday 7:45 am to do the job. Curtis was not present but the 2 gentlemen who arrived to do the minor job (no "in the trees work" required at this point- mostly small tree removal and pruning) were polite and competent, and were in direct phone contact with Curtis when they had a question. He asked great questions about how I intended to use the space, what types of plants and designs I liked and also took into account how much maintenance I wanted to do moving forward. This company has a professional crew and owner. Communication is consistent. In fact, due to the high demand for landscapers and low supplies available for concrete at the time (Fall 2020-Summer 2021 at least), there was a small delay in getting my jobs done. However, the owner communicated when work would start and be completed and communicated if the timeline would change. The owner also returns calls and emails in a timely manner. In addition, I am very pleased with the work. Now I have someone to go to get landscaping completed in the backyard when the time comes.
