first rate challenging and safe experience! as super senior, I took three grands. I could master all the easy harnessed obstacles. the six year old did that and two mediums. the 8 year old did all the first two levels and one of the most difficult. the ten year old monkeyed through the entire course - having connected to two forty something's from Ohio who flew through the course several times. all felt challenged at their levels. and I felt secure about the very secure equipment and rigging having zip line through many states and countries. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!! My husband and I decided to go for our 24th anniversary period he was in the army so he had gotten to do similar things whereas I had never done anything like this and was a bit nervous. Our two guides, Zola and Leah media experience fun, informative , educational and definitely not so scary. The group we were with had never done this before I think, and two of the members were very scared. They made it all seem effortless and after the first zip line, I felt more confident, and once you get the hang of it it was amazing, freeing and you just have to trust in your guides and your equipment. This was the best money ever spent! It was a perfect day, the sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, and after, what I believe was, seven or eight zip lines, two suspension bridges from the treetops, and two repels, I was ready to do it again! Met some nice people that day, I only wish I had remembered to buy a tether for my phone so I could've taken some videos. The guides took some great shots and we ended up with some really good photos to remember the trip by! Thanks again, Zola and Leah for giving us the greatest time we had while in Vermont! Wow-O-Wow! My daughters and I took this adventurous trip and loved it! They are 14 and 11 and had no problem on the zip line adventure. The 8 zip lines and 2 rappels didn't scare us off. Safety is paramount here. There was rain, Lightning and thunder in the air. One of the guides (Ducky?) was is helping out and kept us all entertained with good stories, riddles and showing us the lightning strike radar map. We had to wait at least 30 minutes after the last lightning strike that was within a 15 mile radius. This crew took safety is no joke! We really appreciated that. Delayed one hour and off we went. The guides- Alex and Chris- were fantastic. They walked my daughters and I through every step and made sure that everything was done correctly. Fast zips and great rappels. We had a great time and would certainly recommend this adventure for anyone else that is interested. read more

At 47 years old, i prided myself that I had not had potty accident in approximately 44 years (with the exception of a classmates Halloween party in 6th grade, it to be honest, his Leatherface costume was VERY convincing). While I'm happy to say that this streak continues, there were several spots along my trip at ArborTrek where the streak was in significant jeopardy. The fact that it got to that point, and the fact that I never cascaded over that edge, is an absolute testament to the adventures at ArborTrek. Our guides, Steve and Kris, were the perfect combination of Golden Girls. Quick witted, caring, sarcastic, and possibly from Sicily. Or Montpelier. Who can really tell these days? These dudes knew their stuff...and were awesome at explaining it, encouraging members of our party, firm in getting us to "trust the equipment", and personable in explaining all stations accurately and clearly. As a Fathers Day gift, I took my father here for the All Day Adventure and it was absolutely fabulous! We started on the ziplines which were tons of fun. Foliage was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the tour guides were great! Next was climbing. The climbing course had a variety of different challenges and while they were fun and challenging, my dad and I both agree that they should think about putting a bell at the top of each climb. That way you could reach a reward at the end of your struggle! And then came the rope course. It took a minute to figure out the hooking and unhooking and being in a group of 12 with kids made getting through the small course take a while, but once we reached the Back Forty, we got our challenge! Tons of crazy obstacles and plenty of different things to keep you busy. We had a ton of fun and really hope to come back again soon! read more

Our family has done many adventure courses so this time we decided to try the zip line canopy tour and climbing obstacles. Jason and Issac were fantastic guides. Jason has a quick wit about him and kept everyone laughing. He also had gear knowledge of the trees and forest. We felt very confident and safe with our guides and I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Jason and Issac for a great day! We ended the tour and our kids tried out the climbing obstacles for an hour and managed to complete each one. One of the workers there said Ninja Warrior participants have trained on those elements - interesting. The employees here we very friendly, laid back and professional. read more

We got there a little early and were introduced to our guides, Jess and Olivia. While we waited for the other members of that group to arrive, we were able to enjoy hanging around and playing a couple of games of cornhole or enjoying the volleyball court. Jess and Olivia did their safety brief and instruction and made sure that every member of our group felt comfortable before we headed out. A van took us a couple of miles in (and up) while Jess and Olivia kept us abreast of some of the history and environment. We started out with a couple of shorter lines so the group can get their practice in and Jess and Olivia kept us educated and entertained along the way. The course then led into some beautiful scenery and longer zips that spanned nearly 1000' long. It was outstanding. Along the route, Jess and Olivia pointed out the various aspects of nature which also kept the kids interested in between runs. While our safety was the first concern, they also didn't rush us and let us enjoy the experience. The entire staff was great but special props to our wonderful guides, Jess and Olivia, who should get full credit for each mention here :) read more

My boyfriend & I signed up for the treetop obstacle course, not totally knowing what to expect. It ended up being the highlight of our trip! Our guide Drew was friendly & helpful. He led our group through the ground training and his instructions were clear & concise. When we got up in the course, we felt confident & had so much fun challenging ourselves in the different elements. Drew was responsible yet relaxed; he made us feel safe & comfortable through the whole experience. There were times I doubted myself in the course and Drew helped coach me through. Safety came 1st with a demo and a check of your understanding of and ability to use the equipment, have tons of fun, yet do it safely. Chloe or driver to the mountain top was great and a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Chesley and Kyle, our tour guides. Through their presentations riddle with puns and superior area/arbor knowledge and know how, I completed 9 lines and 2 repels. I've been ziplining before However I found this course both entertaining and thrilling. I have never repelled, but the repel felt safe and easy and I would definitely do the whole course again. Feature: besides their knowledge this is the first course I have done where they take pics!! Yes, you pay for them , but SO worth it. Will post pics as soon as available. My girlfriend and I were scheduled for 12 today for the canopy zip line tour. About 3 days ago we noticed the heat advisory report for the area and the rising humidity level. My girlfriend has severe asthma and has trouble in this insane heat with breathing. The area feels quite like sticky Florida weather. We decided to call and ask for a refund. I spoke with a woman named April that did not address her self as a manager. When we told her we wanted to cancel she informed us that only the manager can approve things like this and that we might not get our money back because it's within 72 hours. We asked to speak with a manager a soon as possible and she said she would leave a note for him (the manager) when he got back. Ironically about 20 minutes later I was involved in a car accident. My car was rear ended and then pushed into another car causing injuries to both of our necks and backs. I added the picture of the car below. Both of us I decided at that point that we definitely cannot handle zip lining with sore neck and backs in insane heat with an asthma problem. We received a call the next morning from April, who never addressed her self at any point as a manager, informed me that we would not be receiving a refund but instead a gift certificate. I then told her about our car accident and injuries and that we definitely cannot do the tour(also offered pictures of the accident). We asked to speak with the manager and were informed that he was not in but would be in tomorrow. April was not understanding at all and said "I hope you as a 27 year old adult can understand the importance of our manager being with his family today" which felt a little unnecessary and insulting given the fact that it is the early morning on a Friday and we requested to speak with a manager twice. We then received a call a few hours later from April repeating once again that we will not get a refund and instead a gift certificate. We should also mention that we're from out of state (4.5 hours away) We then requested for the manager to speak with us as soon as possible. The manager finally called us and informed us that we would not be getting a refund but instead a gift certificate. He then insulted us for "undermining my staff and going over their heads" the staff never at any point called themselves managers and never made any decisions without the actual manager. Terrible experience with the staff. Gift certificate will most likely go unused. read more

We did the zip line canopy tour and it was GREAT. They handled me (I'm a bit "hefty" [200 lbs] and a klutz) and my daughter (a novice and a scared of most new things) with no problem. This zip line was actually much easier than the previous zip line I did in Maui. Less hiking with all of the gear and easier stops (no running launches or stops). The only complaint is that it is a 2 and half hour excursion, you cannot bring any of your own stuff (that DOES make sense based on their complete zip line gear the wrap you in) and there is no place to get ANY WATER anyplace during the excursion. When it can be 85+ in 90%+ humidity in the summer & you are not allowed to bring your own water, no water for 2+ hours can be dangerous. I am glad we went in the morning before it got hot. read more

Perfect for kids as young as 8, super exciting for adults, even those in our party who are afraid of heights had a blast, though for those who are unable to work through that fear, this zip lining adventure probably isn't a great choice--you'll spend several hours 30-50 feet in the air. Equipment is in excellent shape, course is well-maintained, and the staff are GREAT. Zach and Connor were entertaining and entertained, thorough with safety briefings and knowledgeable about the terrain, and were just amazing with the kids. $99 per person seemed a bit steep when we signed up, but this is a full 2 1/2 hour adventure that left everyone in our group breathless and thrilled. Seeing as though zip lining is something I have always wanted to do, my brother, sister and I did the zip line tour. Definitely an amazing experience I will never forget! Wonderful guides as well - Amanda was so sweet and knowledgeable about the area, I actually felt like I learned something while having a great time. Robin was great, also, and through both of their positive attitudes and engaging with all the customers, I could tell they enjoy what they do and want to share the experience with others. If you ever built a tree house as a kid or spent a lot of time in trees pretending you were in a tree house, or were enchanted by the magic of trees and climbed their branches as if you were a small, impish forest creature, then the canopy tour will take you back to your childhood and make you wish that these things existed back then. If you are still a kid, well whatever then. Go play. We did the canopy tour and if nothing else, it is fun, fun, fun. We took a late afternoon tour, and as a result no one else was touring, thus we got a private tour, so-to-speak. As a result, we got to B.S. with the two guides a little more than would have been possible with more people there. That was a lot of fun and informative. So you zip line between trees in the canopy, you walk along a couple of high-up suspension bridges, and rappel down from tree platforms twice. Just with the two of us, it took over an hour and a half to do it all. All of it was great and for me, not scary at all. It made me feel like a kid again and was totally safe, but you still felt like you were doing something a little unsafe due to the height and speed. One thing is to take the time to actually check out the scenery below, which is really wonderful. Our two guides were super cool, helpful and supportive and allowed us to go at our own pace and push it a little. Also, they have all the corny jokes down pat. A natural pun ability would be a plus. I would like to do this during other seasons as well, to see the changes to the forest. So in general, if you loved the Ents in Lord of the Rings and would love to be up high in their boughs, then this is for you. If not, do it anyway, since it is so much fun and worth the cost. read more

The forest was completely white with snow after a big snow storm and we were the only two to take part on the zipline tour which was hosted by Jordan and Jason, who were great and really fun! My family and I are in Vermont for the long weekend and we made the great decision to come here to do the Zipline Canopy Tour. Our tour guides, Mike and Katie, were super helpful and energetic and led us on an awesome course. Not only did we get to experience the 8 crazy cool zip lines, but we got to learn about the trees and animals on the beautiful vermont mountain side. Oh what fun! There is an awesome practice run for parents to do with their kids! Then there is the challenge course, which is a strenuous obstacle course in the tree tops! Watch out for the large hanging rope net! You want to step up high on it. If you step down, the net tilts and if you are not strong in your upper body strength, you will be too week to climb up (like I was) and I had to embarrassingly go back the other way! But, that was after I was already exhausted after doing the practice course in 85 degree heat. The worst part was when the girl told me I should have went the other direction because it was easier! I was just following my kids! Here's a clue...tell the parents BEFORE about this! And TELL THEM BEFORE to step up on the rope net, not afterwards! So embarrassing! But... I had a great time! My kids loved it, and if I was in the area again, I totally would go back and do this again! Mom's beware! But don't be afraid to try! It was beautiful up here! read more

Hal was a great guide and even though my son could only do the Jr. course and the climbing adventure, it was very challenging and was a super fun time for us all. There are plenty of options on the Jr course, so you can spend a good amount of time there and the climbing adventure is really challenging for all ages.
