If I could give a negative ten I would. Do not eat here if you enjoy stomach cramps and other digestive issues. I was told by the manager to call corporate and was not given a refund. No fun spending two days in the bathroom. As I was speaking to her another person came in with his receipt and was also denied a refund. I have reported them to the health department. The brisket sandwich smelled rotten and had big chunks of burned meat so tough it could not be cut with a knife. The gyro meat was dried out and cold.Worst of all my elderly dad has been sick from the sandwich for two days eventhough he only ate three or four bites. read more

This is one of the cleanest Arby's I've been too. Not only was it clean, the employees were top notch taking our order and delivering it. The food was hot when served and perfect. We cleaned up our sandwiches and the au jus we had added. We had absolutely no complaints and were pretty pleased we had picked this place to stop. I enjoyed a meal from here recently. Saw a promo on TV for their new Crispy Fish Sandwich, buy one get one free, 2 for $5 bucks, something like that, and remember thinking to myself that I haven't had any sort of filet filet sandwich in years. The next day as I was coming home for lunch I popped into the Battlefield Blvd location and picked up the deal and brought it home. I also ordered a large curly fry to go with the meal. Drive-through experience was quick and everything on the order was correct. Upon arriving home I noticed the sandwiches were larger than I expected and I put one in the fridge for later and had the other for lunch. You get a nice sized piece of fried fish on there along with cheese, shredded lettuce and whatever their tartar sauce is on a toasted sesame seed bun. I found it to be very good and so were the fries. This was a pretty good deal on price and quantity and I'll definitely do it again sometime in the future. read more

Off-putting, unsanitary and gross practices!!! Won't be coming back here again! Visited dining room for a quick bite (Buffalo Chicken Slider and crinkle fries). Lobby was fairly empty, only a family of 3 besides myself and the drive through had maybe 2-3 cars. The manager greeted me and took my order. A female employee looked at me and looked away and uttered "people just need to go through the drive thru" and scoffed. The manager seemed frustrated and said "we make things harder than they need to-can we get that buffalo slider going please". A woman in the back started making my sandwich and i noticed she had a glove in one hand and none on the other. She proceeded to make my sandwich and then grabbed the chicken piece with her bare hand and rotated it by placing it against her apron. She finished making the sandwich and it was placed in the bag with the fires. I asked the manager if he can have another one made and let him know what I just saw. He looked upset (not sure if at me or the situation). He went back there and said something to the employee in the back and made it himself, with a glove in each hand. While he was doing that, the same employee proceeds to make someone else's sandwich in the same way! I'm more concerned with the employee using her apron (which looked soiled, despite it being a black apron) as a means to handle food. It's one thing (and assumption of clean and sanitized hands) to handle food with your hands, and another to use uniform items to handle food! Gloves certainly are an added precaution but the apron is what was off putting! Scary to think how unsafe food prep is, and feel bad for those with pick up orders or drive through orders who have no clue how their food is being prepared. OBTW, the chicken piece used was from next to the french fry tray...and looked dry and old already...the sandwich was placed in a microwave to warm up. I didn't even finish it...took one bite and sure enough, tough, rubbery and brittle tasting. read more

The poor little old lady working here didn't seem like she wanted to be there or enjoyed her job at all, order was wrong and she didn't respond just walked away to make a new milk shake. 3 full bags of trash were sitting in a pile behind the register. I don't think this business will be around much longer in my opinion. The quality of food was awful and the employee was a mute who got my order messed up, didn't ask if I wanted any sauce or anything. Overall terrible experience. Got tempted by the Crispy Fish pictures and decided to go for it--perhaps a rather odd thing to do at a place that's advertised as having "The Meats." Never ventured down the non-meat path at Arby's before. In hindsight, that was a huge judgement error on my part. The mechanically-shaped "fish" had just enough of the real thing to almost taste like fish. Almost. The majority of the fillet consisted of fillers to make it look like a nice piece of fish. But that's were it ends as looks were deceiving in this case. And there wasn't enough mayo, cheese or ketchup to save it, neither on the sandwich nor in the world. From here on out I'm sticking with the meats, which Arby's does very well. So why the 4-stars? Because of all the other observable goodness: clean floors, tables and bathrooms; genuine greetings and smiles; and quick food delivery. And to top it all off, during my meal I observed one of the workers come to the table across from me and apologize for not making their shake correctly. She said she would be right back with another shake, which she delivered in short order, apologized again and said that they could keep both shakes. This observation tells me many things, but the most important among them is that management has empowered their workers to right a wrong on their own volition, which leaves the customer as the ultimate benefactor. Everyone wins in this arrangement and it certainly was the case today. Good job Arby's! read more

Stopped into the location for a quick bite to eat after my husband's doctors appointment. While taking our food order the what I'm guessing is the manager on duty was complaining about the other employees not helping do the work when there was a line for customers placing orders and the line cooks were in the back making the food for the orders while the so called "manager" was complaining about needing help for the drive thru line and putting the truck away. Very unprofessional to do all that while this customers in the lobby. read more

The food at the Arby's on Battlefood Blvd in Chessapeake is usually good. The service always seems to be bad. The order taker, L, interrupted my order to make sure that the man' ahead of me order was served correctly and for her to wish him "a blessed day." When I rec'd my order, my mozzarella sticks were missing. L apologized for forgetting to ring them up. The ass't manager said she'd give me some and L interrupted next order to charge me for the sticks. I said, "FORGET IT!" The server, who I guess was an assistant manager, told me there'd be no charge. L then walked away from her register and I and the man behind me discussed what happened and he said he's complained about this Arby's. too. L returns and says to me, "there's nothing wrong with my hearing, you shouldn't be talking about me." I didn't appreciate this hostile behavior and atmosphere - - I was on my lunch break and was delayed because of her carelessness. I should have asked to speak to the manager, but one wonders about the person who trained her and allows this type of behavior. Needless to say I won't return there and probably no other Arby's. This location was clean, speedy and made my order neatly which is a huge deal for me because the kid in me will not eat my food if the presentation is not up to par. It was newly renovated so the upgrade made for good ambiance so much so that we decided to eat in the facility. There was a television mounted on the wall but I was more concerned with my date . NOT SO QUICK REVIEW NOTE: This review concerns this particular Arby's location as opposed to Arby's as a chain in general. INTRO: Arby's is a chain with a lot of tasty food options available, however I've had some poor experiences at this location. THE GOOD: The quality of the food here is consistent with that of most other Arby's I've been to. THE BAD: I will preface this section of my review by saying that most of my visits to this location have been between 9:30 and 10pm on weeknights. They close at 10. Anyone that has worked the closing shift at a fast food restaurant will tell you that most of these types of restaurants will start their closing cleaning chores at least an hour or so in advance of the actual closing time. I once worked work this type of job myself, so I get it. The employees want to leave and don't want to dirty things back up that they've already cleaned to fill late orders. However, my shift managers and I would never have gotten away with some of stuff I've experienced as a customer here during this time frame. One such thing is the fact that the lights on the drive-thru menu are normally turned off way before 10pm. Not only does this make it difficult to read at night, but there's also no other reason to do this other than to deceive potential customers into thinking that their closed. When you pull up they'll still take your order, but to me this is a pretty jerky thing to do. They're also frequently out of things on the menu. One time they were out of Roast Beef! An Arby's out of roast beef!?!? Recently I ordered a French Dip sandwich and after pulling away from the drive-thru realized they didn't give me Au Jus sauce that comes with it. I pulled back through and they told me they didn't give it to me because they'd run out. I then explained to them that had I known that, I would not have ordered that particular sandwich, and that I'd like a different menu item instead. They then told me that they would make the Au Jus sauce for me. Why didn't they just make it in the first place? This is nothing short of employee and managerial apathy, and it's very sad. If staying open until the listed time is so arduous, then maybe they should talk to the store manager about changing the listed hours to an earlier time. It would be better than trying to deceive potential customers, or doing a half-assed job filling the orders. OVERALL: I like Arby's food. Based on the other reviews, it seems this place is fine during most of their regular business hours. Again, I've had bad experiences here ordering near closing time, and again, if you've worked fast food before you know how that can be. Still, this particular establishment has really dropped the ball in terms of customer service during this period of time. read more

The service is very clean and very fast, even during the rush hours on Battlefield Blvd. They CAN read my written orders (I am deaf, so I use this method to order), unlike the most fast food places, and they love to do the double sure on your orders. read more
