I am a Jersey Girl through and through. When Jersey Mike's came to Virginia Beach Virginia I was thrilled. When they were down the seashore in NEW JERSEY we used to eat there and of course I'm Italian and that's how I grew up on some sandwiches like that on the French bread with the fresh cold cuts the salad you know MIKE'S way that's the way our family grew up my family from Italy so needless to say I was thrilled when they came to Virginia so I thought let me try this guy down here cause I knew they made them like I was eaten the same thing up in NEW JERSEY and so I was so excited to try it here and I was not disappointed I love JERSEY MIKE'S and I go to the one at Willis Wayside the people are great they are wonderful the place is clean I can't say enough about that store. that's the only place I go and I live on the other side of VIRGINIA BEACH I do not care how far I have to go I go to Willis Wayside JERSEY MIKE'S because I love the people they are so sweet they're courteous very nice and they do my sandwich exactly like I like it and I never have a problem with it they do it to my specifications. I can't say enough about that STORE I can't say enough about the people and I can't say enough about the JERSEY MIKE'S food. And anybody else who says anything about that store they betta not say anything about that store! It's the best store around. The store one Fordham Drive now THAT store needs people skills training. Those people have no idea how to treat people. They made me so friggin upset that I took my party of 12 and walked right out of the store and never went back. Mr Cancro go to the Fordham Drive store and get them people training or give ME that mgr position and I'll teach them how to be nice to customers! I can't believe how we were treated by a snot nosed high school brat. The way she spoke to me was so rude and disrespectful had I not been a customer I would have slapped her across the face, but I just walked out with my friends and she lost a big chunk of $$$$$. read more

I've been going to Jersey Mikes for years. They used to make the best sandwiches. I've noticed the last few time I've visited this location they barely put any cheese on your sandwich anymore. That was the best part as a vegetarian. Now you're lucky if you get 4 thin slices For $10 sandwich with no meat. We also love to go the day before our early beach day and get plain bread loaves to make sandwiches at the beach. I was told this location has a new rule and you can't by the bread anymore unless you buy a full sandwich. And it's only one loaf of bread you can buy per full sandwich ordered. I guess they can make their own rules but now we have to find somewhere else to get our bread from. They also refused to sell me the oil and vinegar like I always used to get too. I hope the other locations don't change their rules as well. read more

First time I've ever been inside a Jersey Mikes. I enjoyed them at a few events and it's been good. The strip is newer and has a Starbucks, Great Clips and Aspen Dental. Parking is plentiful and clear of debris. This was a Friday evening visit and no other customers. The dining room was clean with all tables cleaned and cleared. This was a great start. My daughter was with me and got a turkey, I ordered a BLT. The staff we got was training, she it was a bit impersonal. The other two were lose and friendly. The sandwich was made fresh in front of us and the staff confirmed if anything was customized. No issues with my card processing and can tip. I grabbed a bottle of water, they have both fountain and bottle drinks. My daughter and I both agreed that we enjoyed our sandwiches. The bread was sift and fresh, the meat tasty! When we were searching for something to quickly grab for dinner last night, we headed over to Jersey Mike's. I can honestly say, I can count on one hand how many times I've ever had Jersey Mike's but since it was close by, we figured why not. As soon as we walked in, we smelled the aroma of bacon and fresh bread and it smelled divine (who doesn't love the smell of bacon lol). I love a good Italian sub so I ordered The Original Italian which comes with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. I was asked if I wanted it the "Mike's Way" and since I was unsure of what that meant, they explained that it was just added onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices and oils. Since I'm a girl that loves all the fixings, I told them that I absolutely wanted it the Mike's Way lol. They offer a Mini, Regular or Giant size and I ordered my sub Regular size. I also grabbed some chips as well. For some reason, the sub seemed a bit bigger while they were making it but we were a tad bit disappointed in the size of the Regular when we got home. Seeing as there was almost a $7 difference between the Regular ($9.65) and the Giant ($16.50), we definitely chose what we thought would fill us up and not break our pocket lol but in my opinion, the Regular size should be a tad bit larger. Overall, the sub was pretty good. I did ask them for jalapeños on the side so that extra kick to my sub made it taste even better. We did add Mayo to the sub once we got home since it was a tad bit dry for our liking but it hit the spot and I would go back if I were craving a sub sandwich. read more

I frequently order from this location. A few weeks ago, I ordered my regular, a turkey provolone sub. When I got home, I noticed the toppings were a bit skimpy. This was odd because usually, my subs from this location, have been great. I figured perhaps it was just a fluke. I decided to go by today to give them another chance. Unfortunately, got home and same issue; very few toppings. At this point, I'm just paying for bread. Looks like another establishment has got to cut quality and value. Sad to admit, but this is becoming the norm. Time to start buying my own sandwich fixings. read more

We are Jersey Mike's lovers so we love stopping wherever we see one ... and they didn't disappoint here! My 56 was perfect (though I liked them before they added more cheese to them better ... a little to cheesy for me now) and my wife's #8 hit the spot. HOLY COW, been to Jersey Mike's at home, but we're traveling and found one. Excited, heck yeah, a fresh hand made Italian Sandwich on a fresh roll, topped with fresh veggies, beats the heck outta the fried, processed stuff we've been stuffing our faces with, had to be better for us. I mean, babyluv and me don't always eat right, especially when we travel, so given the opportunity to stuff our faces with some darn delicious, healthy, can't get enough of it, gonna last 2 days, live 30 minutes from it at home, beautiful, handmade Italian sub, we're gonna do it. The young men who helped us we so cute, funny, and polite (don't see that enough) and respectful that we left a good tip, and we brought it back to the hotel. Jersey Mike's, you're all over it. Thought i'd give 2 stars since the location is new but... Always been a Jersey Mike's fan but I received this as the Buffalo chicken cheese steak tonight. I didn't ask for anything extra on it and it was drenched. Only reason half of it is eaten is because I've had a long day and didn't feel like fixing something else.
