Arby's. LaVale, MD. Jan, 2026. My husband and I were traveling on I-68 near Cumberland, MD, and wanted to stop at a fast food restaurant that would serve us quickly so we could continue our onward journey. We decided upon this Arby's, which was about 0.3 miles from I-68, with easy access to/from the interstate and plentiful free parking. There was also a drive-through which we didn't use. We were both swayed by a special promotion that they were running -- "$7.99 Meat & 3". For $7.99 (plus tax), you get your choice of either a Roast Beef Classic or a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, plus three add-ons: (1) a small curly fries or crinkle fries, (2) 2 pc mozzarella sticks, with marinara dip, and (3) a peach cobbler roll. A small drink was also included, from their self-serve fountain drink station. Kudos to Arby's for offering Diet Dr. Pepper! Food. (4/5). All of our food tasted good and was of good portion sizes. (In fact, we both saved our peach cobbler rolls to eat later). I've always, and continue to be, a fan of Arby's roast beef sandwiches, especially when complimented by their horsey-sauce. A few things prevented a 5-star rating on food. First, our serving was mostly bits and pieces of curly fries. Second, the fries were seriously over-salted. And, we did not receive the marinara dips for our mozzarella sticks although they were listed on our receipt. With a slogan of "We have the meat", and a sign near the entrance "entering a kale-free zone" (or something like that), we knew that we wouldn't be eating the healthiest of lunches. But, that said, the meals are very high in calories, fats, and sodium. It sure would be great if Arby's would offer a special with a roast beef sandwich, side salad, bottle of water, and a piece of fruit! Service. (4/5). The signage for the "$7.99 Meat & 3" promotion was a big confusing. We mistakenly thought that soda was one of the choices for the pick-3 items rather than it being that all three items were included PLUS a free soda. The cashier, while friendly, never corrected us as to the details of the promotion as we rattled off our choices for the three items. Slight downgrade in our rating also for the lack of marinara sauces in our boxes. The food was delivered quickly and hot. Ambiance. (5/5). This was a typical fast food set-up, with ordering and pick-up at the counter, a self-serve area with drinks and condiments, tables and booths, and restrooms. We noted that the restaurant was well-maintained and clean. In fact, we saw an employee washing down empty tables and chairs with a cleaning solution. We would eat here again. read more

This is a slider. A soggy, over microwaved, mashed slider. See the sauce cup, the sandwich is just tiny. A shadow of the former sliders. This is a disgrace. That the staff even thought it was ok to serve this is disappointing. read more

Although they struggle with taking orders "Just a #15 wrap only." The food is my fave fast food around and has been. I appreciate how they've renovated and really stepped up since 2006. I also appreciate the new jalapeño item. Wow. Yes. It's smaller though... They incentivize people to work their which speaks volumes. read more

I am between a 3 and 4 star review for this locations as there most days I have no issue getting my #12 market fresh combo with side salad and side pop of mozzarella sticks. Things move quickly, they pop my card for approximately $11, and I take it back to my work station and have a mini picnic. However, there are also some trips where I ponder why I continue to put myself through it for a couple slices of turkey and some battered mold. There have been times where my order was blatantly wrong and having to drive back and get it fixed, was treated like I WAS IN THE WRONG. You know, the guy who eats here 4/5 times a week and orders the SAME EXACT THING. Some of the window workers are short, annoyed, and bothered by any interaction. Which also is troubling. As far as anything else- the inside is always clean, condiments are full and things move swiftly- with the exception of lunch time when all bets are off. read more

My transaction with the drive thru was as cold as the food! The only verbal exchange was when I was placing my order. Even at that time it sounded like it was such a chore for her to do that. What's with the attitudes? What happened to saying, "thank you," or "have a nice day." Not even a smile on their face. Maybe Arby's needs to update their training manual or hire new employees that now how to properly interact with customers and want to make them come back. read more

Stopped at Arbys as traveling back home from DC and having to detour. Gyro sandwiches were as expected. Turkey sandwich with colby instead of swiss was thrown together and not cut as it normally is. We waited 10 minures in drivethru for mozzarella sticks why they figured out how to make them. I felt bad for others behind us and watched the bags and drinks pile-up by the window. read more

Popped into Arby's to get a gyro (pronounced hero?) and a cold beverage. It was exactly as advertised! Tasty and delicious! It was a busy day in drive thru (as most are with Covid going on) but the staff was working hard for their money! They took a bit but did their best and I really appreciated getting a hot gyro, instead of some garage that sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes! Thanks again Arby's Cumberland, MD! read more

Went there for a quick lunch break the other day. The drive though was busy but I went through anyway. After ordering I waited around 15 minutes to even get to the window. A lady in front of me left the line so I politely let the girl know at the window. She said they were having problems with register. I ask how it would be she said a couple minutes.....10 minutes later still in the drive though and no apologies or Manager to be seen. I told her I had to get back to work since my break was over. No apologies....no discount for future meals...nothing. Spent my whole lunch break there and the Manager couldn't even pop his head out of window?????? We stopped by Arby's on our way home from our Thanksgiving trip. We decided to stop for a quick lunch. The food and customer service were both excellent! What resonates with me most is this location's commitment to Americans with disabilities. Displayed on the counter was a sign that listed accommodations for patrons with disabilities. I think that is super awesome in a world that isn't always accessible or sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities! Way to go Arby's! Keep up the amazing work! read more

Fast service considering its lunch time and there was a long line. Plenty of seating. Food was hot and not dried out.

Manager Shawn is very helpful and nice. Food is always hot and fresh

Staff was friendly and food was hot. Carpet was filthy, kitchen floor had standing water and bathrooms were dirty.

I have gone through drive thru a couple times. They are friendly but have a tone like your bothering them, plus they don't say "Thank you, Please come back or Have a nice day" read more

I went through the Arby's drive-thru tonight and it was the first time in several years that I went there. They told us that there would be a wait for our food and asked us to pull up which was no problem. When the food came out I glanced in the bag and it appeared that the order was complete and we left. After getting home we realize that we only had 4 of the 5 sandwiches that we ordered. Normally, I would just say that I should have checked the bag but they had plenty of time to get the order right while they were waiting for the sandwiches. I will not be going back to the LaVale Arby's again. read more
