    Pepperoni roll with Omelette!!!

Went to D'Atri's twice while in the area for a motorcycle rally. One early dinner, one breakfast. The dinner, we were seated very fast, no wait. The food was good, and we were served quickly. The breakfast was even better. Only a minute wait for a table, as it was VERY busy, and the service was also great. The portions were HUGE and I was so full, I had to waddle out. Plenty of lot parking makes this a go-to in the area for any meal.

Family friendly place with two floors Extremely friendly employees, amazing food, with a relaxed casual atmosphere. We started with the crab, corn chowder which was flavorful, and rich in taste. Crackers and delightful Italian bread came with the soup. Dinner sides choices were plentiful. We had coleslaw ( crisp, creamy & full of flavor), pickled beets( excellent- just like from grandma's house), mashed potatoes with a choice of gravy ( brown was seasoned well, and added to the flavor of the potato. The haddock dinner presented with a huge fillet, which was thick, with delightful breading, fried crispy. The crab cake was lightly seasoned, which allowed for the flavor of the white meat to stand out. They also have a wonderful bakery section with delicious desserts!

This place never disappoints. The cheesesteak with the seasoned lettuce is worth driving over an hour for

Food was good, but nothing out of this world. We are spoiled at eat at restaurants all over the country though and have some high standards. I felt like the pancake fell short flavor wise and the French toast was good but nothing made either stand out. If we hadn't had some of the things we've eaten lately we might have rated the food higher, but based on these two items we'd rate their food about a 3 star. Service was great though so that's 5 star, the place was clean, standard "restaurant" look, and we were able to park our truck and trailer Nextdoor at the hotel. There used to be a bakery area where we grabbed some pizza rolls for the road and a tiramisu which looks beautiful. Will update after we've tried those!

My family and I have went to this restaurant countless of times and it's always perfect! Just figured it was time to leave just as good as a review as what we experienced each time! The service was splendid! The food was delicious ‍ ! (chefs kiss ) Definitely would eat here again and again! The subs are the BOMB . COM! This is a must try!!!!

Lovely staff, buzzing ambiance, delicious subs and hoagies...D'Atri's has it all. But wait, do not even think about leaving without trying their mouthwatering desserts. The sandwich cookies looked enticing, but their sweet-glaze covered cinnamon buns looked like it had my name written all over it. Be sure to utilize your Free Drink offer with Yelp check-in. When I had approached them about the Yelp check-in Free drink offer, they seemed very confused. But they ended up honoring the Free-drink offer which made my day. I do wish that business would be more aware of their presence on Yelp. Can't wait to visit this place again soon.

Back in town after a number of years and wanted an old fave, the D'atri's Steak and Cheese sub. Many locals said that they had gotten smaller, cost too much, weren't the same! I say they are crazy!!! Best steak sub in the world at a great price!!!

Cheesesteak - hots and seasoned lettuce in the side (we were traveling) 5/5!
    Teresa M.

Seasoned lettuce!!! I wanted that to be it... "seasoned lettuce"... but Yelp is making me write more. Obviously the seasoned lettuce is so unique and delicious the people love it. You order a cheesesteak... it comes with fluffy white bread, mayo, provolone, steak, tomatoes and seasoned lettuce. It isn't a Philly cheesesteak so don't expect that, instead it isn't greasy, very fresh and delicious. A large was enough for my husband and I to split. Also grab a pepperoni roll! So good for on the go snacking.

Meatball Sub (the longer one out of the two sizes).

The guy who served me was so sweet, very friendly and didn't seem irritated with me talking and talking and talking lol I was anxious and couldn't help myself. We got some treats and used the very clean bathroom. They didn't have an annoying tip machine and the guy didn't even expect one but I wanted to show my appreciation for his kindness and allowing me to talk so much haha. Sliders and a huge bowl of applesauce for one kid (big approval on both). Bowl of creamy tomato soup for kid #2, which he said was amazing. Yard Bird sandwich was enormous, juicy, and very crisply fried. Corned beef and sauerkraut (housemade) in the Reuben was delicious but had a slightly disappointing meat-to-kraut ratio that had me wishing for a bit more of the tender corned beef. A really nice touch is that the kids meals are 1/2 off with the purchase of an entree. $5 instead of $10. Great deal and still high quality food. Our waitress was terrific but the kitchen was surprisingly slow given that there were only a few diners in the restaurant. (The slow service made it a 4 star, not 5, experience.) Nice decor and clean bathrooms. Some in our party wandered through the quaint artisan village across the street while we waited for our food.

Very intimate setting, maybe 8 tables max with one server (maybe two and I missed) but I'd plan at least a couple hours for your dining experience, especially if you plan to get appetizers or dessert. On the outside, you're greeted with plenty of outdoor patio seating in front of the restaurant and live music from an artist playing tunes. Inside is a spacious bar, lounge and woodsy interior with another room with tables and larger party seating. Since we had a little one with us, we thought more fitting to sit outside, watch the horses and carriages pass and enjoy the fresh air. We were told by the hosts that the seating in the front, though unoccupied, wasn't available, but the tables on the side (which I thought were for storage as they weren't set, cleaned or too presentable looking) were. Although a bit confused by that note, we decided to sit outside. It seemed that there was only one server working the outside area as we saw her hastily going back and forth. We were sat at 5:35pm or so. After about 10 minutes, she took our drink orders and 10 minutes later we then ordered our food. We got the drink we ordered then patiently awaited our food. A little after 6:05p, it started to sprinkle with rain outside. If you know PA, the rain can come down hard and heavy, quick. We asked our server if they had other seating available who went to check. As we were sitting on the side of the building - in an uncovered area - we went inside around 6:15p to ask if there was other seating available. Surely a rain soaked toddler and water ruined food isn't the best look for a restaurant serving its guests.. Both the younger lady hosts and a man (not sure his relation to this restaurant), John, seemed a bit perplexed by our request. He then proceeded to advise that the umbrella-covered seating in the front of the restaurant wasn't available, pulls his phone out to check the weather, notes that it doesn't say it's raining, but instead says "yeah, I don't know what that is, maybe it's a neighbor spraying a hose nearby" (while another employee says "I see the rain on the window in front of us") and doesn't really provide any solution for us to sit so we go back outside. Very confused by that interaction, when we saw our server next, we told her that we would be leaving and we'll pay the check for the one drink we ordered. Another girl came out and apologized, saying she wasn't sure why they wouldn't let us sit inside or anywhere else and proceeded to take us to a table inside. Our now hangry and somewhat sprinkled on toddler got her food, noodles with butter, at 6:20p and we got our dishes at 6:30p. The food looked decent though I can't comment on its flavor and taste of our meals as I had no appetite then. I don't know who would want to enjoy a meal there after that interaction. No apology or conversation from a manager was ever had, no items removed from the bill or a complimentary item provided to make up for the poor experience. We didn't eat much as we were quite off put but paid the bill in full. I still have no idea who the "John" guy is and what purpose he may serve there aside from the blatant disregard of guest's concerns and a poor example set in front of the younger employees. Our server and some of the other runner girls were kind, so I don't think customer service and general decency as a human is lacking from this town but this experience and this specific restaurant left that unfortunate impression. If he or they didn't want us there, I surely would have appreciated the honesty so we could spend our money and celebrate Father's Day weekend elsewhere. I don't plan on coming back and only Yelp members don't visit either. If I could tell you to avoid this restaurant at all costs, I would.

We especially liked the contrast of the honey mustard and zing sauce.. I got Will's Mountain Club on grilled sourdough and its as on point...tons of flavor, just the right combination of meats and sauces and really crisp delicious bread. Service was outstanding, like really attentive and good, super friendly, very accommodating. Couldn't have been any better. One of the biggest things I loved about this place was their support of local artists. They had local fine art for sale everywhere around the restaurant. I was on a motorcycle otherwise I'd have taken several prints home but I had nowhere to put it. I did copy the artists names down and placed a couple orders when I got home. They also had things like sourdough chocolate chunk cookies for sale packaged inside. I bought one to eat later, never had a sourdough cookie before and it was great! They have a garden outside that's fun to walk through and I'm assuming they get some herbs from it for their meals. Good sized parking lot and easy to get in and out of and if you're on a bike you can park on the concrete by the building instead of the gravel. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Rode all the way up from Cumberland where we were staying and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
