We swung in with the grandson for a quick bite after a hard playground session, the only saving grace was how pleasant the employees were. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll know you've made a mistake! Not a lick of landscaping since 1992, and I'm fairly sure the owner decided brooms were too expensive! Then you step inside and realize they made the same decision regarding mops...and rags to wipe tables. The place hasn't seen fresh paint since Obama was president, and the dirty walls were so bare I thought I was back in my 19yo bachelor pad...like not even a single poster of a tasty beef sammy! The employees were super friendly, and wiped tables and the highchair down without complaint and a lot of apologies. The only reason we stayed were them and our time constraints which were rushing towards afternoon nap! I'm not sure who the franchise owner is for Alaska, but all our Arby's are marginal, this one just needs to be bulldozed and redone! I have been a loyal Arby's customer for many years and normally have no problem. I tried to order from the online APP and every time it wouldn't work. The error message was that this location does not accept online orders. I am a rewards club member and like to see the deals and rewards offered. Not being able to use the APP I went through the drive-thru. In the drive-thru, I asked if I could order the specials on the APP. I was told no as you had to use the APP to get rewards or specials listed in the APP. I ordered the newly offered Angus cheesesteak sandwich and a small standard order of fries. When I approached the window to pay and pick up my order I asked the employee how long they had not accepted APP orders and she said they had always accepted APP orders and she had worked there 10 years. I explained my experience and asked if I could order the online specials. She said they could only be ordered and served if ordered online. She was very polite and said she did not know why the APP was not working correctly. She explained that it may be down for repair or maintenance but they never tell the individual stores when it is down. Recommendation to corporate management. If your APP is down and not working notify your locations that it is not working for them and recommend they still serve the online specials or rewards item as listed in your APP or find a better wording for the APP when customers sign in. Don't make it look like your location is not participating in your APP or frustrating loyal members when they try to use it and fail. I don't hold this location in any way responsible. That said the new Angus Cheesesteak sandwich is excellent with lots of tender steak with ample melted cheese and small bits of onion and peppers. The roll is fresh and soft and wrapped in very thin foil. If you use any of their sauces be careful to wrap the foil so you do not wear the sauce and cheese. I carefully wrapped mine and folded it for maximum coverage but by the last two bits it was breaking apart and I had to be very careful. It would also be helpful to have wipes to clean your fingers if you're not eating in where you can go to the restroom to wash. The French fries were hot and crisp and tasty with a little catsup. Overall this sandwich and fries were excellent and the sandwich is a great addition to the menu. Please don't hold the above comments against the Arby's locations, this one in particular, or their quality food at good prices. read more

I recently had 2 different horrible experiences here at the Wasilla Arby's. First, was when I ordered the new angus cheesesteak and what I got was a flat, dry bread roll with some cheese melted into it and about 5 little chunks of meat. It was literally as thin as a quesadilla. There was almost NO meat inside!! Of course it was in the drive thru, so I didn't know till it was too late. So much for "We have the meats!" Yeah they DO have the meats, because they're not giving any to the customers! My second issue was ordering online and picking up through the drive thru. Long story short is that it "wasn't ready yet" so they told me to pull around to the front. So I did, believing they were gonna bring my food out to me, but after 30 minutes, I realized I was never getting my food unless I go inside. I was about to be late for an appointment. So I ran inside, only to see my to-go bag sitting there in the pick-up order section and I had to grab it myself and run out the door. Who knows how long it had been sitting there. No one ever told me I had to come in and get it myself. COMMUNICATION, PEOPLE!! Seriously, they need to get their stuff together. Buffalo chicken slider was jipped of the sauce, normally mouth watering goodness but it was drier than your boots on a sunny day, service was good and the sign lights we not powered correctly, probably blew a fuse after they misplaced the buffalo sauce. read more

We were out and about needing a quick bite to eat and decided on Arby's in Eagle River. We went inside and it was a bit on the messy side, in the dining room. I personally don't understand why people think it's okay to leave their tray with wrappers on the table and then leave, but they do. I guess I can't fault the staff for that, but there was no effort to clean off the tables, wipe them down or pick up the numerous straw wrappers on the floor. The customer service was less than mediocre. We weren't asked if we could be helped and when I asked the young man how he was doing today, he didn't bother responding. Our food was pretty prompt, fries and sandwiches were hot and I felt like my sandwich had more than the usual amount of meat and that was nice. My mere three stars are for the hot food that completely met our expectations and was tasty and the lack of other two was the hum-drum customer service and messy dining room. read more

It never fails when I come to this Arby's there's always SOMETHING. This time it is they are out of marinara sauce. I ordered cheese sticks and when I got to the window I was told they were out. Also told that they didn't have it for over a month. Come on manager, get it together and order the basics to make peoples experience better. When I entered Arby's my teammates and I were immediately confronted by disgruntled employee's, this made all of us feel very uncomfortable and scared. The front desk employee proceeded to call her manager who got up in my coaches face and proceeded to yell and shout at my coach instead of hearing the other side of the story. On top of all this the food was pretty terrible, soggy, wet, and over very disappointing. read more

For the most part, the people who work here are kind and I loved this location until a few weeks ago. I encountered the nastiest rudest person who works here. He is short, dark hair, not sure if his heritage. He practically threw my food at me. But this wasn't the first time. I called the manager the last time it happened. She made a ton of excuses for him. She said he has behavior problems and problems interacting with people. Well why is he working with people? Why is he allowed to interact with customers? There is no excuse. If customers have a bad day, they shouldn't take it out on employees and vice versa. He needs to be held accountable and fired. I don't think I've ever been to a slower Arby's, both with the drive-thru and inside. Tonight, I went and again faced a ridiculously slow drive-thru with only a couple of vehicles in front of me (they didn't appear to have made large orders either). All I ordered, or tried to order, as the guy cut me off a couple times, was a double roast beef, fries, and a chopped salad with balsamic dressing. I didn't want a meal because I didn't need a drink but he insisted on the meal. About 15 minutes later, I received my bag and I drove off. Once home, I noticed the bag looked too small and I discovered they not only forgot the fries but the salad dressing as well. I don't expect a fast food restaurant to be stellar but this is disappointing. If you are going to be slow, at least get the order correct. read more

Took ten minutes to get our food at the drive through. Then they forgot the cheddar sauce on my Big Beef and Cheddar. It was Sunday at 1pm, so not an incredibly busy time. No reason they can't meet their two minute goal in the drive through, and really no reason to mess the order up. Receipt even said Cheddar. So probably not going back here. It was a Saturday at 2pm. No one else there and I was in a hurry so I stopped by in the drive through thinking it would be quick. 10 minutes later after I paid i finally see the person come to the window to give me my food. That's some crap. Boy was I mad and late. Also it not to big of a deal but I ordered a coke and not telling me they sold Pepsi produces only handed me a Pepsi. I'm a coke and I just prefer to drink coke. That's some thing they need to say as I am ordering. I took it anyway cuz I was too pissed and late to change it. Never going there again read more
