It's a fast food place. Can't really get more than 3 stars. Order took long. I don't know maybe that day I went it was a hot mess. But try the fries! After running around the St Johns university campus tying up some loose ends over there I decided to hop on a random bus and explore queens since Im never there. Next thing you know I'm on the Q54 and after traveling for a while we roll right past Arby's. Not sure if I was still even in new york I got off the bus mainly out of fear but also with the desire to try an Arby's seeing how I had never been to one in my life. I walk in and the inside looked really good for a fast food spot. It wasn't McCafe nice or anything but it was good. I looked at the menu trying to gather it all in and the cashier working the register came over to take my order. She didn't seem to happy to see me, I'm guessing it was because she hates her job it didn't bother me because I would too but at least pretend too so I don't feel bad. I ordered the classic beef and cheddar cheese. It was pretty good but it did remind me why I'm not the biggest fan of cheddar cheese. The place did have free refills on soda which was pretty sweet. All in all its was pretty good. The food was alright the spot was clean and the service was fast. The cashier gave meh service but It was the understandable meh service not omg meh service I would come back if I'm ever around there again. read more

I never had a chance to write a review about this place since I've been there a few times, but their food is always fresh. I've had both their breakfast, and lunch/dinner menus especially their New York Style Reuben sandwich corned beef and turkey is the best sandwich by far I ever had there. I'm not too much of fan of their curly fires, but I order there onion rings instead. The staff are friendly, place is clean, decor is okay, but there parking lot is small, and sometimes you may have to use RadioShack's parking lot when its full. Over all I definitely will come back again. read more

This Arby's took over the location of the old Niederstein's on Metropolitan Ave. Decent sized parking lot, and good internal space. Drive through service is usually pretty quick and efficient. Food is prepared as you expect from an Arby's. One nice touch is they have a bunch of pictures of the old Restaurant it replaced, I guess as a concession to people in the neighborhood reminiscing about the past. read more

As a frequent eater of chicken tenders throughout many different restaurant chains, I decided to try Arby's for the first time ever. Their chicken tenders tasted like the kind I would find in a more expensive restaurant like IHOP, Red Lobster, Applebee's, and the like. Even then, these were even better because of how fresh & hot they were. Cheaper than KFC, Nathan's, and the other restaurants I mentioned earlier, and even better. Restaurant-quality (and sized) chicken tenders for the fast food price. Arby's Prime Cut Chicken Tenders are a MUST TRY. Only disadvantage is, this is the only easy access Arby's within NYCs five boroughs, and it took me nearly an hour via the M train to get here from midtown Manhattan, and I feel like I spent more time waiting for an M train at Metropolitan Avenue station for the return trip, than I did enjoying my food. read more

Discontinued most of Standard sandwiches such as Jr. Roast Beef and Ham & Cheddar because ic so called bread issues. Replaced with skimpy Sliders to make us buy more just to satisfy hunger. They now have over 20 choices that no one wants. Order taker consistently getting orders incorrect Management sarcastic and Rude . Food was very fresh, hot, and delicious. The restaurant and bathroom were both very clean. Employees were all polite and in proper uniform. My only complaint was they couldn't accept my Arbys gift card because the "gift card system?? wasn't working. I was given this gift card as a present and drove from Brooklyn to use it. THREE CHEESE & BACON w/ Curly fries. Pretty decent and tasty compared to Arby's other bland tasting sandwiches. The curly fries kinda sucked that day. Cold and soggy. One of the main reasons why I like Arbys is their curly fries w/ their horsey sauce. As for this location, I like it better than the one that's along Horace Harding near Utopia Parkway. It's less crowded here but the parking lot is quite small. The interior is identical to the one on Horace Harding. I usually stop by this Arby's when I'm coming out of BJ's at Metro Mall. It's better than the Burger King in Metro Mall in my opinion. That Burger King in that mall could never get your order right. read more

I use to love going to Arby's just for the basic beef and cheddar sandwich. The last two times I have gone to this location it has been the worst I ever had. I when April 11, 2018 and last year, since once in a while I go to BJ wholesale near by. The bread tasted old, the beef was cold and looked weird and cheese was barely any. Now I paid 4.25 for a horrible sandwich. The jalapeno poppers were great that is about the only thing I will ever buy at this location. Food has been terrible both times in the last year. Very much hit-or-miss. You either get great staff members or huh-is-anyone-paying-attention-today? But, the food is usually good & it's clean. I was annoyed the other day when I ordered a milkshake & was automatically given the largest size. If I had realized there were several sizes, I would have ordered the smallest. That was a bit shady. If you think Arby's is more healthful or lower in fat, salt or calories, I would recommend you choose very carefully, using the published nutritional information. Arby's is not four stars!... Any other Arby's I would probably give two stars. That's judging against other fast food places. This one gets 1 star becuase it occupies the space where Neiderstein's stood for many, many years. About 135!.... So we go from that to Arby's. This place is like two seconds away from my house. I've been here several times and have had bad incidences on multiple ocassions. There was once a time I went in with my sister for breakfast and both employees were not in their uniform, just a tank top and shorts. There was a time I ordered curly fries and one of them was covered with mold. There was a time I ordered fish and got chicken instead, which sucks because I don't eat meat. And the time I did get fish, an employee told me that the fish was old. Just yesterday I ordered an egg and cheese croissant and the egg wasn't cooked all the way. I had to throw my sandwich out. The customer service is also mediocre at best. I can't believe this place is still open. This is an unprofessional establishment. read more

I was so disappointed when Niederstien's- the German restaurant that had stod in the spot where Arby's now is for over 100 years was demolished and replaced by a fast food restaurant. In an irrelevant nod to it's predecessor, this Arby's has German style lights and a few decorative touches that were i suppose meant to honor the memory of the restaurant they replaced, which had served the community as a restaurant and a place for family dinners after funerals in the many surrounding cemeteries for so long. That aside, this Arby's is par for the course for a fast food chain. The food is the same as what I've had in other Arby's. The seating area, however is a lot more decorative than most fast food joints. People do seem to come barreling across traffic and into this lot off of Metropolitan Avenue, so use caution while walking by on the sidewalk. read more

i was in a part of queens that i usually do not visit but after dropping off a coworker who will never get worker of the year award i notice arbys nearby and i could hear ving rhames like voice in my brain saying we got the meats. ok i walk in a get on line and as i am scanning the menu board i notice an extensive array of eats from burgers , sandwiches , salads, sliders , desserts , drinks , curly fries , onion rings , etc. i did not see the gyro list which the gal worker told me that its not available at this location at this time so before i make my way back to the parking lot and go to astoria i stayed and ordered a few sliders with curly fries with minute maid light lemonade . overall the food is not bad but try to order without the sauce cause they really drown the sliders with it. plenty of seating including booths and tables and place is clean including the restrooms which i only use to wash my hands . what i like about arbys is the choice of beef, pork, chicken , turkey which other fast food joints dont offer . a bit surprised that arbys is not part of the manhattan and westchester county scene that much cause i think folks would like an alternative over burgers for lunch . 3.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

their steak sandwich the # 8 (triple cheese) is very good. that is my go-to food whenever i order from there but the only thing i dont like is the fact that only 1 out of the 3 or 4 cash registers is open. the service is very slow as a result but if you dont mind the wait its okay because the food i always ordered came on point every single time. delicious!!!
