Service was fast and quick. I had trouble understanding the options that I could select from what was left from the limited availability. I took advantage of the T-mobile deal for free six pieces of chicken with any order of $5 or more. Have been here twice. Both times got the Classic Flounder Fish Sandwich which was really good. So use to the McDonald's Fillet-O-Fish Sandwich, but found the Classic Flounder Fish Sandwich from Popeyes to be more crispy and crunchy with a little hint to spice. I also got the Shrimp tackle box. Love them Popeyes biscuits. The fries were good as for the shrimp they fried it with the shell of the shrimp tail, thought it was like popcorn shrimp without the shell, so be aware when you take that first bite. Ambiance and decor of the place which was very inviting. It's really not a huge store, but there were chairs and tables where you can sit and eat. Staff at counter was friendly and acknowledges you. They are right next to Taco Bell and closer to the Queens Blvd side. The place itself isn't too big but there is seating with booths and counter seating. I like the Chicken Burgers, especially the spicy one so that's what I usually come here for. The staff are polite and friendly and they are pretty quick here as well. Parking is tough though but there is street and metered parking a few blocks away. They are open decent hours as well too and they deliver! read more

Went to buy Popeyes using one of their mailed-in coupons similar to the ones on this pic. All did not have a barcode. The coupon I used happened to have a short tear, but the rest of the entire coupon including the codes, were intact. The counter person nicely told me, the coupon should not have any tears next time. She then enters my order and then, to my surprise of surprises, tears the coupon into small pieces. Funny. i thought maybe they had to save the coupon for audit later. The long awaited opening of this location was the first week of September. Finally I was able to try the ever popular Popeye's Original Chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. Chicken was nicely portioned, a few pickles and a light serving of sauce on the top bun. Bun was buttery. Just right. Due to the current pandemic, seating is not available but I believe will accommodate between 8-10 people. Currently there are stickers on the floor for appropriate social distancing while waiting in line to order. This is my favorite Popeyes location! Staff are super friendly. Always clean and fast cooking! To my observation, I feel like they cook to order, when I get home my food is still hot, doesn't taste super oily like some Popeyes might feel. I would recommend coming to order from this Popeyes off 63rd drive in Rego Park. Also!! I had question about Beignets about not finished them all in one sitting and they help me separate the 12pcs into two bags so I can eat later. They are so thoughtful. First review I'll ever leave. I come here often, and often have the same thing: the chicken sandwich. But the other day I thought I would try their shrimp, it's always looked good on the menu. I ordered the shrimp and took it home where I consumed about half of the "tackle box" they advertise. I open one of the shrimp up and they didn't devein the shrimp. In fear I didn't know what to do, so I didn't touch the shrimp and ate the rest of the food. There was ample time to pack the food so that it's ready by the pick up time. I arrived at exactly 5:24 pm, provided them with my order number only to have to wait another 20 mins. Meanwhile, at least 5 other customers who walk in to order get their food in minutes. When I ask how much longer, I'm told to wait! Does this make sense? If you're getting a combo and want just water instead- make sure to ask for bottled water otherwise they'll give you a gross cup with pink/brown water. Also, I think if you try to get bottled water it's an extra $1 even if the combo is supposed to come with a drink. read more

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this Popeyes location. I've been here many times for takeout, and never had an issue. I've never ordered from their app or from a third party though; I always come in person to order. Sometimes there's a wait time, but fast food isn't always fast. I had bad experiences at other Popeyes locations; this is the only location I've tried that I like. They have great customer service too, and once I ordered really late (it was closing time basically), and the manager gave me a ton of free food to bring home! She said since they were closing anyways, she didn't want the food to go to waste. It was so nice of her and I got lots of free fried chicken as well as free mashed potatoes. I've NEVER had that experience before at any food place or restaurant. Sometimes at bakeries, you can get discounts at closing time, but I've never had someone give me free food.
