We stopped by around 1 PM and somehow hit the jackpot: first car in the drive-thru. We ordered the Caniac Combo to share (because balance), extra sauce (non-negotiable), an extra piece of toast (obviously), sweet tea for me, and apple juice for the tiny boss. If you're a mom like me, you already know: toddler behavior is unpredictable at best. I wasn't about to risk a meltdown indoors, so we parked and enjoyed the surprisingly nice Minnesota weather instead. Best decision of the day. We ate, chatted, people-watched, and watched the drive-thru line go from long to gone while minding our business. The food was exactly what I expected--nothing life-changing, nothing disappointing. It did exactly what Canes is supposed to do. Staff greeted me with a smile at the pay window and the pickup window (points for consistency), the grounds outside were clean, and the location is super convenient--right near North Memorial Hospital and shopping centers. All in all: good service, good food, hot chicken (very hot ), and a smooth, easy experience. Sometimes that's all you need.

Less than 15 minutes to get our food from when we ordered it, not bad at all! The food was hot, which was good. The bread served, isn't served warm though, this was also the case with one of the sandwich buns we received. So that was a disappointment there. The sandwich bun was actually almost slightly chilled, would be better if the bun was at least warmed up. Overall, they did a good job, and the inside of the restaurant is really neat with the graffiti art! My one last nit-pick is that I wish they were more consistent in the size of the chicken strips. The two that I got, were noticeably smaller than the ones that other people in my party got.

Food was fresh & hot and good sized portions. A little bit of sticker shock for $27 for 4 chicken strips & fries. All in all it was good, liked it better than Canes and we will be back.

Now I will say we did get a little upset because they had not even received the order much less started to work on it. The women and man behind the counter begins to get super upset almost to the point of yelling telling us they don't have the order ready as it just got here and how we shouldn't expect it to be ready. We were not expecting it to be ready 20 mins before we only wanted to ensure it was correct and the kids meal was not forgotten. The women then told me that the manager wanted to talk to us while she was on the phone. I said great I will gladly talk with her. The women then states she does not want to bother her manager at home even though she already did to find the order After speaking with dawn the store manager we both agreed tensions were rising but that her employees were out of line speaking to us that way. Dawn gave us the kids meal for free and we got our sandwiches. But we were displeased by the way the employees felt they could speak to us. It left a bad taste in our mouths that they would 1. Speak to any customers this way And 2. Turn our business away as they told us to go to another location.

Ordered delivery from this Capriotti's because I very much had a hankering for a sandwich. Perusing the menu showed it could be difficult to make a selection. I would eat any of their sandwiches except the tuna. I could not make up my mind, so I ordered the Capastrami and the Bobbi. First, I will upon receiving these two sandwiches - they are large! I mean, really large. I ordered a small Bobbi, a medium Capastrami, and a regular order of fries (there were a ton of fries too). A small was almost too much for me, and the medium was certainly a shareable, or an eat half now, and eat the other half later in the week situation. The Sandwiches themselves were good. The Bobbi with the turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce was excellent. More importantly, they offered a side of gravy. That really put it over the top for me. Who doesn't like gravy, right? I dipped everything, including the mountain of fries, into the gravy (everybody in the pool!). Definitely ordering this one again if available. The Capastrami would have been amazing if I had been able to eat some of that from my delivery. Even the following day, it was terrific. For a chain deli, it is much better than the usual suspects we have for chain sandwich shops, and this one will be first on the list when I want a sandwich.
