We stopped by around 1 PM and somehow hit the jackpot: first car in the drive-thru. We ordered the Caniac Combo to share (because balance), extra sauce (non-negotiable), an extra piece of toast (obviously), sweet tea for me, and apple juice for the tiny boss. If you're a mom like me, you already know: toddler behavior is unpredictable at best. I wasn't about to risk a meltdown indoors, so we parked and enjoyed the surprisingly nice Minnesota weather instead. Best decision of the day. We ate, chatted, people-watched, and watched the drive-thru line go from long to gone while minding our business. The food was exactly what I expected--nothing life-changing, nothing disappointing. It did exactly what Canes is supposed to do. Staff greeted me with a smile at the pay window and the pickup window (points for consistency), the grounds outside were clean, and the location is super convenient--right near North Memorial Hospital and shopping centers. Hot fresh tenders!! This location is pretty tricky to get into, but once you are in, they serve the best chicken, fast and fresh! I get the box combo with no coleslaw and replace with bread. The bread is my favorite, it's hot and buttery. The cane's sauce is my favorite fast food sauce. You get a lot of food for the price, plus a fountain drink! The service is good and they bring your food out quick. There is plenty of seating inside. The drive through is pretty tight during peak times. Overall it is worth it for this chicken! read more

I stopped by yesterday to grab dinner after getting a car wash at the Crew Carwash nearby and it was disappointing. The lady with the gold hair was nice, but it's apparent that the employees don't care about the cleanliness or the environment in which their customers eat in. When I walked in, there were about 3 employees on break(not the issue) but after ordering, they had all went back to work and none of them cared to clean the tables they were eating at or any of the other messy and disorderly and scattered tables. One of the tables at the booth in the north eastern section of the restaurant was broken and there was no sign or anything to alert customers. I felt like I had to choose between bad and worst surrounding the seating options. It was not busy, so I cannot think of a reasonable excuse as to why I would have to clean tables after having purchased two meals. I order the box combo and asked for extra fries instead of the coleslaw. My partner ordered the 3 finger combo. When I got my order, we had the SAME amount of fries as my partner :/ so basically I paid more and got less food - very neat!!! Overall a very subpar experience. Canes is now feeling like a greasy McDonalds chain. All of the other ones I've been to were actually great, but this one is severely off. Literally walked in there and everything was normal. Me and my kids love Cane's, but today we were met with such rude and unprofessional attitude by the name of Sophie... I simply asked if I could get another box combo after already ordering and she gave me the meanest eye-roll and groan. Idk, that attitude to me was absolutely unacceptable and utterly plain rude. Every time my kids talk me into getting canes I wanna throw a 3 year old fit. The line is outrageously long to sit through(especially if you do have a toddler in the back seat) Food is okay but the prices Let's talk prices for what it is.... In the fast food chicken category, these are some tasty chicken fingers. The box combo is a filling meal. The box has four chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, Cane's Sauce, and drink. The chicken fingers are tasty breaded chicken breast tenderloins- the breading is flavorful but not overly crispy. I liked that, but if you like crispy breaded chicken, this might be a let down. The fries are nothing special. They are passable crinkle cut fries, but if fries are your jam, you won't find these memorable. The tiny tub of coleslaw added a nice crunch and the Texas toast was really buttery goodness. The staff did a great job with my unsweetened tea with a splash of sweetened at the end. If you like tea that's not overly sweet, but with a little touch of sweetness, the sweet tea splash method is awesome. The drive through was busy, and generally has a long line of cars when I pass by, regardless of time of day. The wait wasn't overlong considering I was about the tenth car, they kept things moving. Lots to unpack here so I will get right to the point. They got my simple drive thru order wrong THREE TIMES! First time was the initial order. Second time I go inside. They made a partial attempt to make it right. I am in my vehicle when I notice the error. Third time, I go back inside. They give me two of the missing item, two Texas toast instead of one. Whew! Finally, I am able to try the rest of what was now my cold, old chicken meal. The chicken and fries were clearly reheated from the early morning at best if not the day before. They were both super soggy and in the case of the fries, undercooked. The only item that passed muster was the lemonade. One last observation; the inside of the store is a hazmat zone. Filthy. Ditto on the behind the counter area. Not an ideal optic for a place that sells food. I have really enjoyed Cain's food in the past and their community involvement programs. I will see what their other locations are like when I am in their areas. In the meantime, a total cleanup needs to happen at the Maple Grove location. I have been going here for the past 4 years. I personally enjoy the food the chicken, fries, toast, and sauce is always warm and delicious. I do not really care for the coleslaw much. Going through the drive through when it is lunch or dinner time is a little bit of a nightmare but that's because everyone loves it so much! But, I would like to see change to help make the drive-through work a little smoother. They do pump out food quick though, cars are only at the window for less than a minute or two. I have dinned inside before and it is alright. The inside decor is fairly good. They do a good job of making the place feel welcoming the only downside is the cleanliness. I have been here during the lunch-dinner rush and also not. Both times the tables were dirty which is a disappointing. It takes asking for an employee to clean off the table or doing it yourself. Takeaways: The food is great (in my opinion) but the cleanliness and wait of the drive-through can be frustrating (I usually pick my food up from inside because it is quicker). read more

This is some darn good fast food fried chicken! The Maple Grove location is great. The staff is always kind and friendly, the restaurant is always clean and the food is always fast. The chicken "fingers" at Raising Canes are in fact massive chicken tenders. They are always coated to perfection and deep fried to create a wonderful flakey crust with juicy meat inside. The meal comes with a side of coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries, and a slice of Texas toast. The coleslaw is just okay but it's whats I would expect from a fast food restaurant and the Texas toast usually isn't super toasty but it's still a nice sized slice of bread. I love crinkle-cut fries but they aren't as crispy as one would think or hope, especially with how well the chicken is cooked. None of that really matters though, it's all about that chicken! I would give this place 5 stars but I'm not a huge fan of their glorified ketchup, "Cane's Sauce" or the fact the only hot sauce then have is Louisiana hot. Come up with a nice buffalo sauce and/or add some other hot sauce options and you have fast food perfection. Raising Canes is quickly becoming my favorite grab a meal on the go eatery. I've loved Raising Cane's for quite some time. Today I ordered the 3 tender meal with an unsweetened tea. The chicken was cooked well and it was fresh and tasty. The fries were great. Hot, fresh and well seasoned. The portion seemed a bit small though. The toast would be amazing with gravy but nonetheless I like how RC does it. The unsweetened tea was perfect and refreshing even on our gloomy stormy day here in MN. The window attendant was so smiley and friendly. That was great to see from the RC crew. I was the 7th customer to eat here at the grand opening!! Today Raising Canes Maple Grove has officially opened. The Grand opening event had many giveaways, speeches, and some entertainment from Maple Grove High School (I believe). As always, canes chicken was good! Light crispy batter & good dipping sauce (Cane Sauce). The sauce goes well on the whole meal. I dip my fries and Texas toast in it. I actually overhead someone ask a staff member for barbecue sauce.... lol. The sauce is really what makes Canes, Canes. I've always loved that they have a simple menu- Chicken fingers only (and a sandwich, which is just chicken fingers I between bread with lettuce & some other stuff)! Since it's only chicken it helps the line move fast (even with 100+ people at the event, the line moved very fast). Prices are very reasonable! I'm always full and satisfied of the 3 Finger Combo. Since this location is brand new, service was excellent. Had a staff member asking how everything was almost after every bite. I know this type of service will die down later on so I'll appreciate it now. Everything was clean, neat and in excellent shape. The management seems very friendly and nice. They were very cheerful and excited this morning. I've been eating canes for years. My go to. Fun fact- whenever I'm sick or get out surgery, I always request Canes. The same as all other great chicken places that are franchises. Gotta be good, or I won't eat there. Coleslaw was mediocre, but not bad - I can make better slaw at home. The toast was perfect and tasty, but not necessary- the chicken is already "breaded." Fries were average, some crispy, some soggy. Tea was perfect. Service was perfect. We stopped in here for lunch as a family on Sunday. They recently opened, so the line was to the door and the drive-through line was incredible. Still, they had plenty of staff, the line moved fairly quickly, and we received our food in a reasonable amount of time. One employee, perhaps a manager, came by to ask where we were from and thanked us for coming. That was great. Raising Cane's does one thing, and they do it right. Their chicken fingers are freshly dipped and made. The meat is moist and tender. The fingers are hot and tasty. Depending upon what you order, you'll get crinkle cut fries, a slice of Texas toast, a cup of coleslaw, and Raising Cane sauce, along with soda pop, lemonade, or tea. The food is fairly good fast food. Don't go if you're looking for a burger, or a wrap. As I said, they do one thing (chicken fingers). You can either have them plain, or served on a bun. That's as varied as the menu gets. They are served in children's (2 fingers), a 3-finger, or 4-finger meal. Once the hype wears off the restaurant (give it a week), this will be a good place for a quick meal alone or with the family. read more

This is the absolute worst Raising Canes experience I have ever had. "I eat a lot of Canes" The customer service in this place is horrible. I watched the food runner give my food away then tell the table "I don't care anymore" yet little did she know the food she gave away was mine. I sat and waited over 30 minutes before requesting a refund from the manager who had a complete "I don't care attitude." I have attached my two receipts so we can look at these ticket times from the time I ordered my food till the time i asked for a refund. I don't recommend this location. The manger seems to have to much on his hands. I will also add the the place was a complete disaster. Not clean at all! The front door looked like it had not been wiped down once today. I was 3rd in line to get to the order kiosk. 8 minutes to move 2 car lengths and I had to go. There were 5 cars that had already ordered and who knows how long it would be to get to the window. left and was at Taco Bell again. No one in my neighborhood will go there because you can't get food. I love the chicken, but you can't get it. Will someone at corporate please fix this store? Oh wow I had never been here until this month my co workers and I all met up because I was told they have amazing chicken fingers. Well, it's true. They don't have a lot on the menu but I think that is because what they have is so perfected. The chicken fingers are fried with this light wonderfully crispy batter and they are overly greasy which I love. To begin, was super excited - decided to come on a whim. The menu was simple, less than 10 options. The lady who took our order, in kind words, shouldn't have been taking orders. She talked so fast, kept repeating the incorrect order after continuously being corrected. We asked what the sauce was and couldn't understand her explaining it. After correcting the order at minimum, 5 times, I gave up and just accepted whatever she was order for us. (Us = 2 people, not very complicated). Chicken was good (for fast food), fries were soggy, Texas toast was surprisingly good. You get a lot of fries for the price you pay. Will we be back?
