I ended up having to cancel and they haven't refunded me my money despite numerous requests and have further stopped responding to me. And the number I had been using for them no longer works. So I don't know if they've blocked me or what, I now have to figure out how to get me money back for a job they didn't perform.

We've had BullDawg Electric come out to do several different things for us. First, we had them…read moreinstall under counter lights and replace some switches so we can dim the lights when we need to. They did a great job, and offered a couple of solutions that saved work, and money for us, but cost them. Second, we had them install a back up generator for us. They took care of everything from permits, to concrete pads, to contacting a plumber to run the gas line and finally the installation. And third most recently, we wanted to upgrade the lights we had hung on our patio with a switch rather than a plug. And they would have done it for us, but after some thought about wnat we wanted to do, Les (the owner) called and offered an easier and less expensive solution for us. By getting smart plugs, we could do the job ourselves. IK this isn't a terribly challenging thing to do, but I had no idea smart plugs even existed. The point is BullDawg could have done the job and made some money, but instead, looking out for his customer, offered and alternative that saved us money and time. He helped us install a transfer switch and exterior inlet plug for our generator so we can safely power our home during outages, and also rewired several breakers to create a dedicated group of emergency-use circuits that the generator would run. The level of knowledge and care he brought to this project was exceptional. Justin was very generous with his vast knowledge in the area. He took the time to thoroughly explain not just what he was installing, but why, and went above and beyond by educating us on generator best practices, including important dos and don'ts for safe operation. I definitely felt much more confident in my ability to keep our house running for my family than I did prior. He was also extremely friendly, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Scheduling was simple, he was very accommodating to our availability, and his work was fast yet meticulous. He ran multiple dry runs with our generator to ensure every targeted breaker was functioning properly, and even took the panel back off to include an additional circuit I initially didn't think would be necessary, but ultimately agreed was important for emergency situations. That extra level of diligence and care is rare. Justin is a one-man operation, but you'd never know it based on the quality of his work and professionalism. The plumber spent a total of 5 hours plus a return after digging was done (2 service calls). 2 laborers spent 8 hours digging/refilling the holes. My generous calculations being familiar with going rates: 2 service calls at $150 each-----------$300 5 hr plumber at $120/hr---------------$600 16 hr laborers at $30/hr---------------$480 Materials------------------------------------$100 --------- $1480 total (padded amt) I was charged $2,174, the unfortunate fact is most plumbing needs are near emergency and you are at the plumbing companies' mercy and they most charge accordingly. Review any company you intend to hire.

While the work was done correctly, it took him about 1.5 hours (inc. H-D) and the bill worked out to between $550 and $600 per hour (total bill almost $950). The techs get to set their own prices. Others had given me a phone estimate of about $300 plus parts with parts on the truck. I feel I was grossly over-charged and while they did great work back in 2017, never again. I don't like being taken advantage of. Money's too hard to come by for retirees. I DO NOT recommend these folks. Besides, the tech started getting pushy about getting the maintenance contract. Just like other big-name HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing companies these days.
