This was one of two arcades we stopped at during our stay in Pigeon Forge. It was okay. Nothing extraordinary. It was a good way to pass the time but make sure to play slowly because most of the games are a buck. Honestly make some kids night and whatever amount of tokens you win give them to some child that looks like they could use a bump up in spirits. We saw a few that looked like they were dragged there and although yeah, it's an arcade, they were clearly there for mom and dad's sake while waiting for some show, lol. read more

Decent arcade and a good way to pass the time with the family. I do with that someone had mentioned that the tickets go directly onto the cards you swiped with. I also appreciated that there was someone constantly going around to sanitize machines. However, many of the machines were not working properly and I agree with the review stating that there is no feasible way to win at the claw machines (which of course, my kids are obsessed with). How can a tiny, thin claw pick up a huge set of Beats headphones? Our favorite game was the air hockey table that allows for team play and randomly dumps a ton of pucks on the table to pump up the excitement. The prizes and cost to play seem pretty standard. The game selection is fine. It is not a huge space, so they crammed in as much as they realistically could with ticket games like Plinko, Skee ball, basketball, hit the clown face (official name for sure ;-) ), a driving game, shooting games, a VR, etc. read more

This arcade is awesome and very clean! Spent the evening with my family here and we played a lot of different games! Our favorite was the Wizard of Oz coin pusher! We had to hunt down the Toto card and we luckily found him twice, which allowed us to complete two sets worth 5,000 tickets each! The prize selection was pretty impressive as well. Lots of different options, from stuffed animals to kitchenware and LEGO. If you're looking to have a good time with family and friends, I definitely recommend stopping by to have some fun! It is THE most rigged arcade ever! The staff is very friendly but arcade wise not good at all. None of the claw machines are calibrated right. My husband is literally a pro at claw machines and after truly 20 tries in one machine nothing. We tried all the machines and nothing. Most claw machines allow at least one win after so many tries but these none! The claws would grab the toy and as soon as it lifted it would let go; over and over. Even for super cheap stuff so save your money and go else where; just because it is a tourist vacation spot doesn't mean customers should be ripped off. A waste of money, not worth it. When planning a quick 2 day vacation with my 14yo son, I decided to surprise him with our first visit to Arcade City. I purchased a great promotional game card offer on their website ($50 for $65 worth of game play. You can also add on to your card at the automatic kiosk near the front door, we reloaded a few separate times with $20 & received the $5 bonus free play each time). While they only had a couple actual old skool arcade machines (PacMan, which is our favorite & only cost $0.25 per play), they did have several other games to play. There was an equal mix of full grown adults and children of all ages having a blast playing games. Most games range from $1-$2, a few were $3-4. We really enjoyed their air hockey table, ski-ball is always a favorite, and we got hooked on the Wizard of Oz game by the front door. Everyone around was trying to locate the elusive Toto card. We love an arcade!! It's just one of our favorite things to do because not only do we love it, but our kiddos do too. The variety of games is really good at Arcade City. All of the machines are in working order and the ease of buying an arcade card made our whole visit much more enjoyable. I personally enjoy playing the Wizard of Oz game. It's enjoyable and relaxing to play. My husband loves to play skee ball. Our two teens love the claw machines, especially the one with the tickets. We visited Arcade City several times over the few days we were in Pigeon Forge and they came away with prizes each time. read more

The prize selection for earning tickets was lackluster at best. Claw machine enthusiast here. Most of the Claw machines were DEFINITELY not strong enough to pick up prizes, especially the prize bags that allowed you to pick a prize off the back wall of the claw machine. There is a difference between making it hard to win, and making it impossible. Wish I would of taken a video of the claw machines either closing to late or dropping the weighted bags every time. There are arcades in Gatlinburg that have winnable claw machines. read more

Fun arcade located at The Island. They have several coin pusher games, nerf wars, virtual reality, and any new modern games, as well as some classic arcade games. Staff has always been friendly. The manager (Mark?) is really nice and helpful. They sometimes run specials if you watch their Facebook page. I came here on my last day on the island and decided to play a few games with my young sister. We ended up swiping on one game and receiving a few more credits then the original swipe was for. We played all of the credits but then realized that none of our tickets had gone onto our card. We were offered nothing by the manager except for a few extra dollars on our play card which was useless as it was our last day and the arcade closed in 30 minutes. Trust me, save your money and visit a different Pidgeon Forge money trap. read more

The only reason they got two stars is because the manager was kind and helped us with the tickets not loading onto our play card. My wife and I love going to arcades because we are very competitive... We were playing the claw machine a lot to win the big ticket rolls and the claw machine with the ticket balls and we were winning a lot and having a great time until we went to turn them in upfront to be put on our card. We did it a few times and each time after we went to check the ticket balance on the kiosk... The first time it didn't go through so I grabbed an employee and he re did it and it went on... The second time it didn't go on I asked the manager to help and she was very helpful and fixed it.... The third time I asked the same employee from the first time because the manger was busy and I didn't wanna stress anyone out... The employee told my wife that "if it's not on there than he doesn't know what to tell us". I was a little upset over this comment because he could have just grabbed the manager and been a little more respectful to my wife... He was rude and I had to find the manager because he wouldn't.... Not to mention alot of the games were broke and some took our credits and didn't us play.... Thank you to the manager for understanding and being cool about it... Great arcade with a good variety of games. We took a 7 and a 4 year old and they both had plenty of great games to choose from. The staff was also very helpful from start to finish. My son is 16 he won 10,000 tickets at this arcade.He asked the worker if he could get all his tickets in airheads which would have been about 255 airheads.The worker named NICOLAS .R said I am just going to give you hand fulls I am not going to count them out.In my opinion that is not right to screw someone that just spent a lot of money at your arcade and not give them the right amount. If you are over the age of 7 you should be able to count to 300 so I don't see the problem in him counting them.If you can't count that high as an adult there is a problem you are getting paid to get kids what they want it's not that hard. If you can't count and do the job you are getting paid for you should be fired and never hired again.If you are so lazy you can't even count to 255 how did you get a job in the first place.I would suggest never going here! read more

Took my nieces and nephew there the week after the Gatlinburg wild fires because their house burned down and they needed to get out of the hotel and have some fun. When we entered the arcade, we were greeted by a very nice lady whom we small talked with while I purchased the arcade cards. During our convo, we discussed how my sisters family lost their home. After completing my transaction, the kids and I headed to the games. About 5 minutes later, that same lady came to us win 3 more arcade cards worth $20 each and said it was for the kids to have "extra fun". I was so impressed and shocked. And then when we went To cash in on their tickets, Justin was at the prize counter (he was the one who approved the comp cards) and he allowed the kids to get extra prizes despite not having enough tickets. What the employees did there that day for my nieces and nephew will not be forgotten ever. Especially by my 9 year old nephew who said "it was the best day ever".
