We came in to practice and the place was mildly busy but still it was way too hot and the AC should be cooling this place! I've been bowling here for almost 5 years and four years in league and the air-conditioning in this place is absolutely the worst! The owner here doesn't seem to care much? This has been an ongoing issue as long as I've been coming here. Word has it "they are working on it" ya whatever! For Four years!!?? I'm not the only very dissatisfied customer! EVERYONE in our league is a sweaty mad mess! Especially being that it's a full house making it more uncomfortable.

There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.

We're all suckers for the claw machines so we had to stop and check em' out. They have a fairly decent selection of different machines and plushies to choose from. (Machines range from 1 token to as many as 3 per play) The associates were all very friendly and helpful. I do think management can do better about assembling and restocking the prizes better though. Some machines had a small pile all pushed to one side, others only had a layer of prizes covering the bottom, and some didn't even have enough prizes to even cover the floor. Do yourself a favor and do a simple walk through before purchasing just so you know you're getting a fair shot at winning and/or to asses whether it's worth playing. The whole family had fun and we all went home winners. Even if you decide not to play, they have some super cute photo opps lining the walls.

After spending $40 we walked away empty-handed, which was really sad for kids who were expecting to win something. For the price, the value isn't there. It feels more like a money grab than an enjoyable experience. If your kids are hoping to leave with a prize, this may end in disappointment. Honestly, you're better off saving your money and buying a kawaii plushie elsewhere -- you'll spend less and actually get something for it.

From the moment we arrived, Gabriel was the one who greeted us, answered our questions, and made us feel welcome. When we walked up to the front desk, two staff members, including the assistant manager on duty, were engaged in a conversation. Gabriel respectfully stepped away from the conversation to assist us right away, and he did so with kindness and professionalism. We had a similar experience at the snack bar, where we were overlooked at first. Gabriel noticed us, came over, and told us about the membership discounts. He even offered to help us personally, and because of him, we went back and had a much better experience. His attentiveness and positive attitude really stood out. Even with a few disappointing interactions with other staff, Gabriel made us feel appreciated. Thank you, Gabriel, for making our visit a positive one. Sky Zone Ventura is lucky to have you.

Cheese in about 8-10 years. We showed up on a Sunday at 4pm and it was very busy. As we entered I noticed many new games and updated layout. We ordered some salad bar plates and some other appetizers. and enjoyed some pizza at the birthday party. The food tasted better than I remember except the salad bar tasted the same as many years ago. We then went to play and I was very disappointed in the state of the games. Many were out of order (see pictures), some seemingly still taking credits off cards while not functioning properly. I then took my son to the climbing area that Chuck E Cheese was always known for but when we tried to enter we were told it was an extra charge. Instead of complaining we returned to the party and were prompted to sing for our celebrant. However when Chuck (we are cool like that) came out he was very unenthusiastic and almost seemed bored. The entire room sang happy birthday while Chuck seemed ready for a nap. All in all we had an ok time but it is sad to see what this place has become. Broken games, extra charges and a bored Chuck. Hey, at least the food was good and the service was decent. If this is what is expected for Chuck E. Cheese I will pass and I am glad I haven't missed anything in the past 10 years.
