When I pulled into the parking lot I was questioning whether or not I was in the right place. It's a pretty small storefront! The place on the whole isn't that big, which isn't a terrible thing. We came here on a weeknight and it was pretty chill! There was one little girl who was having her birthday here but it was still open for other kids to play. It's always a good idea to call before you come though to check! A lot of the indoor playgrounds I have been to all seem very similar, but it was nice to see some very different slides and activities here! The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. First and last time visiting this place due to safety and cleanliness concerns. The play structures themselves are nice, but they did not appear clean. When we arrived, we waited several minutes before anyone came to the front desk to assist us. I generally don't comment on these things, but I felt uncomfortable during out visit and received what felt like unfriendly looks from the employees and other patrons. As the only Hispanic family present, it left me feeling unwelcome. My biggest concern is safety. There are no apparent measures in place to prevent children from running out the front door. The seating area provides a very limited view of the play area, with much of it visible only from a small section of the front seating area. If you prefer to sit and supervise your children from a distance, this is not the place. Additionally, the restrooms, office, and kitchen are located behind the play area, making it difficult to monitor where children are going or who may be in those areas. This was especially concerning because I could not see who was entering or leaving the restroom area, and I worried about my children going there without close supervision. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, visibility, and safety measures made for a disappointing experience. read more

We had planned a park birthday but the weather didn't cooperate. Thank goodness for the Funhouse Factory...they saved the day! We were able to book the space with little notice (even with 80 guests!) and the team went above and beyond with table settings, decorations and support, making our daughter's "Under the Sea" birthday a smash success. There is ample parking, lots of tables and chairs for adults and kids alike, and the coolest play area we've seen in town. We're on a mission to check out all the playgrounds in the valley--well, my kids are. This one is in Van Nuys and has been open for about a year. We've visited a few times, and each experience has been memorable. I tend to judge playgrounds based on how much my kids enjoy them. If they don't want to leave, it's a winner. Typically, when they're not into a place, they're ready to go after an hour. But here? I had to convince them to leave after two hours. The playground has all the usual indoor play elements--ball pits, slides, and plenty of space for kids to run around and burn off energy. But the standout feature for my kids was the rainbow slide, which you go down the slide on a donut. When the playground first opened, the donuts were in perfect condition, but a year of heavy use has taken its toll, and they're a bit worn. Still, they're a lot of fun. One great thing about this place is that it has an all-day play limit, which is a refreshing change. Some indoor playgrounds charge around $30 for just 1 or 2 hours, but here, you can stay as long as you want. If you're looking for a good indoor playground, this one is a solid choice. This is the cutest indoor playground I've been to! It looks very small from the entrance but once you are in!!! Oh my goodness it's just so adorable and HUGE- all the fun is happening in the back. We came here a couple of times with my friend and the kids looooveee it! My daughter is 3, and my friend's boys are 6 and 8, and they all loved the activities so it's fun for all different ages! You can order food- we ordered pizzas and wings and the food is amazing, it comes from a restaurant nearby. You can also order drinks and snacks! And Starbucks coffee cans!!! Yay! Just what a tired mom needs! And I just have to give a shout out to the young lady at the front (long ponytail) and the manager- they are super, SUPER nice and all they do is walk around and clean. All-of-the-time! I am really at peace that my children will not get sick and you can totally tell they are on top of the 'germs game' which I really appreciate. Sunday morning open play was great for my 2.5 year old. We got here around 10:45 and it was pretty empty till around noon. I have been to a couple of different indoor kids gym in and around the valley but this one might be my favorite! It's clean, there are great slides, toys, etc. I haven't tried the food but my daughter had a lot of fun. Came on a Saturday morning right when it opened at 10am. Very beautiful indoor playground, I would give it 5 stars but a huge safety concern would be the cement wall that is right behind the trampoline area. We have informed staff about it and they said they would report it to management, so hopefully we see foam padding on that wall. Wow!!!! This place is great! Omgggggg so glad to have an indoor place to play that isn't dangerous like Kids Empire. If you want to let your toddlers play without worrying if they will get hurt, it's perfect here. It's SUPER clean. With sooooo many options to keep them busy. Little play rooms, all with different themes, toys and costumes for play. Slides, swings, trampolines, cars, balls, they even have some games for older kids in the back. Bathrooms are so cute, walls and floors painted with theme characters and super clean! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Socks come with admission. Parents, bring socks also so you can accompany your kids inside. They also have shoe covers for parents if you forget socks. So I've taken my son here quite a few times and I will say overall we absolutely love it!! The assortment of things to do and jungle gym we're done really well! The artwork and aesthetic is obviously very cute and appeasing to kids. My only complaint with this place and why I'm not giving it. Five stars is because the area where the tables and chairs are for the parents should be separated off from the play area with a secure gate. Of course, as toddlers do like my son, he likes to run back-and-forth a lot and get into things he's not supposed to. When we're there a lot of times he has full access to just run up to the front door of the establishment which I don't like, and ends up being kind of a pain for me. It would be really helpful if they would consider putting up a gate that separates off the seating area from the play area like a lot of other play places do. Appropriately named, Fun HOUSE for sure! My three year old and 8 month old had a blast. The climbing maze is not overwhelming, plenty of slides, baby swings, merry go round, trampoline, arcade games in the back and an area quartered off for those under a year. There is no time cap on free play time, and we easily enjoyed two plus hours! Walls have no shortage of details in the colorful animation paintings. Artwork is the best I've seen at an indoor playground. I absolutely love the plants hanging from the ceiling and the prop phone booth. There are fisher price cars that ride down an alley that cuts through the center of the make believe town: a bakery cafe, supermarket, hospital, police and doll house. Jazmine was especially kind over the phone and made my daughter's birthday a truly memorable celebration! I must make mention of the kindest woman who patiently cleaned up after the kids, she worked reorganizing all the accessories that belonged to each themed play room. We can't wait to come back and will be telling our friends about this indoor playground. The location is not the best, but once you are inside you will forget about what's outside. read more

Saw this new playhouse on TIKTOK and drove all the from DTLA for my daughter. Many staff who were consistently cleaning, clearing toys and making sure kids were safe by helping them. My daughter had just regular socks but the front desk lady gave new not slippery bottom sock to make sure she did not fall or get hurt while playing. Nice big, high different slides and huge ball pit for kids and parents. Overall cute, clean fun place. Lots of parking spaces and the price is great too. We paid $45 for two kids and $10 for an extra adult (two adults come free with kids) We even purchased foods which were pricey. When we wanted to go out for lunch and come back, they said multiple entries were not allowed. They could have given a heads up before we checked in. We celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday at Funhouse factory yesterday and it was a dream. At first I was worried that this place seemed small but it turned out to be perfect! There are lots of activities for kids, slides, games, carousels, you name it. We ordered separate entertainment for the kids and it was completely unnecessary because this kids seemed mored interestedinterest in all of the toys and activities that they have there. The owner was very nice and refunded us money. We initially paid for 2 hours but since there was nothing to do, only stayed for less than an hour. I would recommend for them to invest in toys. There was nothing for the kids to play with in the rooms. Each of the themed rooms was empty. Perhaps they just opened. Owner mentioned the kids took everything to the ball pit. I don't think you can take play kitchen to the ball pit or shopping carts. I definitely recommend to invest in pretend play toys! That's what my kids can play hours with. I agree with other people that have commented regarding slide. They need to make the slide more safe. There is a gap between the slide and the soft play/balls. It's not safe for the butt, could really get injured. Lastly, the other slide they have is designed to be used with an inflatable tube. It is far too heavy for kids to carry. It is a cool concept but it's quite high and gets to be very heavy with two kids. The place is done beautifully! The walls are decorated nicely and I thought it was clean! read more
