We are so proud to be a My Gym family! We started our son's membership about 6 months ago and it has been the best experience for us and him. He has learned so much, has made many friends, and absolutely loves his amazing teachers (as do we!). The space is always clean and ready for every class. There are plenty of additional events and opportunities depending on the child's age range. We enjoyed the Halloween special event and loved seeing the kids and teachers in costume. We have been going to My Gym ventura for about 9 months now. The teachers Sia and Sarah are amazing. They know my child, greet her by name when we come, they know her personality and interact with her based off how she likes to play. The communication is great. It's easy to ask any questions via text or email and schedule make up classes. The play date option always has fun and interesting new toys for the kids to play with. Throughout the Covid restrictions the facility is always clean whether classes were inside or outside. Initially we weren't welcome for our child to attend Winter Camp due to his disabilities requiring 1:1 support (which we were surprised as MyGym is contracted with TCRC), but after support from the Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) Team and a willingness by the Ventura MyGym to take an open-minded approach and give us a trial run, our child was able to attend his first day of the Winter Camp with his 1:1 Support Staff (CA DSS IHSS Provider) and has really enjoyed his experience so far! read more

We have been coming to My Gym for just over 18-months and recently had a birthday party for my daughter who just turned two. The classes are amazing in the way that they are structured and help your kids with not only their motor skills, but social skills and circle time! We have seen our daughter progress in her motor skills rapidly and we get many compliments from her daycare about her ability to sit through circle and participate in it. The classes are at convenient times and 50 minutes long - just the right amount of time! The facility is clean and the staff are so wonderful and welcoming! They are really good with including all the kids in a class to make it a good experience for all. They have a way of being nurturing, but firm to ensure rules are followed. Our birthday party experience was wonderful from start to finish! Worth every single penny - they made it so easy and stress-free! I dropped off some decor the day before and when I walked in for the party the next day, it was all set up and ready to go! The staff was so helpful during the party and led the party and had it tailored for my daughter based on what she liked. Thank you My Gym! This place is so great! I have been taking my son Adam every Sunday morning for about 5-6 months now and and the instructors are so interactive with every kiddo there. We have had classes with Sia, Rachel, Sam, and Sara all who are so fun and energetic. The gym area is always very clean and takes covid precautions. I have yet to see an activity/skill that has been repeated more than once in a class which is awesome! There is always something new for every kid to try. read more

Our son is turning 11 months old this week and now that he's a comfortable crawler, stander, and almost full-time walker, I knew I wanted to find a program designed just for babies his age that helps get the wiggles out meanwhile fostering socialization & motor development that is all around fun. I was so happy to see that My Gym Ventura offers a free introductory class and told my husband it couldn't hurt. At the very least we would check it out and if Greyson loves it, awesome, and if not, nothing to lose. But, boy did our son LOVE it! We signed him up for the Tiny Tykes class, which is designed for 6mo-13mo old babies. I appreciated both the email confirmation that outlined what was to be expected during our class as well as a personal phone call as a reminder of what to bring and expect the day before our class. When we arrived we simply filled out a couple papers and were welcomed by the very friendly staff that were going to be working with us that day. The gym itself is open, clean, and filled with all kinds of toys and gym equipment that is perfect for these little guys. My son loved crawling/walking all around and I appreciated the few minutes we had at the beginning of our class to explore. Once class began, our instructor sat us in a circle for a warm up and guided us the rest of the class with intervals of free play, structured play and exercise, and fun/new activities to try with our child. I really loved how our Tykes class was designed because it helped us new families get accustomed to how the class worked. Overall, an hour is the right amount of time for our little guy and once we got home he took the best of naps! A membership fee is totally worth that, haha! Something else that our family appreciates is their military/veteran family discount of a waivered membership fee ($75). It makes enrolling our son that much easier and friendlier to our budget. Since Greyson is an only child, my husband and I want to ensure that he has every opportunity to become socialized and prepared leading up to going to school in the coming years. My Gym also fosters skills such as listening, waiting turns, and interacting with others. I know that as he grows, My Gym has classes that grow with him. I really look forward to bringing Greyson back each week and watching him grow and become more confident in himself and his newfound abilities! read more

My daughter always has a blast each week she goes to MyGym. All the teachers are so friendly to every child and really take the time to learn each child's name. I love that the themes change each week and so does the layout of the equipment. It is always different and makes it fun to explore. I started taking my daughter when she was 15 months with just the trial run. After the first class, I knew we would be getting a full time membership. Plenty of parking on-site and bathrooms located inside as well. As the Program Director at No Limits for deaf children in Los Angeles and we have had the pleasure of working with the teachers at My Gym Ventura during our virtual Summer Program. We provide services to students with hearing loss and the wonderful teachers at My Gym have been so wonderful while working with our children. During the pandemic our kids have not been able to receive in person services, and doing a My Gym class virtually has been so wonderful. Our deaf children absolutely LOVE them. Sarah and Lori from the Gym class have been teaching our deaf children about handstands, forward rolls, and other gymnastics moves. Okay parents- if you want a birthday that is easy, super fun, and reasonable cost then My Gym is THE place. My son just turned six and LOVES LEGO Ninjago. Since he is in the Ninja Training classes at MyGym it was a perfect fit. The staff sat down with me to customize an amazing celebration that was surely a day to remember! The party-goers did a warm up, played games, participated in obstacles and had lots of free play. Each kiddo who attended also got a free class so they get to come back and play again! By the end of the two hours everyone was happy and exhausted... except ME! That's a win for sure! I took so many photos of this party because I could actually relax and let the staff do all the work. My youngest's second birthday is just around the corner. We are considering celebrating it at MyGym as well! read more

I've been bringing my almost 2 year old daughter here for about a year. It's been great to get her around other children her age and to start learning those social skills. She definitely gets excited to come here and loves both her circle time and swing time. You do have to reserve each class ahead of time and most times I have no trouble signing her up. Occasionally a class is full but I still average about 3 classes a week here. As to the teachers, my daughter seems to have a favorite but has no issues with the others. Sometimes the teachers seem to have an off day where they are not as enthusiastic as normal but they are human like the rest of us. Heck, some days I have to drag myself there clutching my cup of coffee and praying my girl doesn't have a meltdown when it's time to leave. We've made friends with other regulars here and I like attending classes with a mixture of old and new friends. Thanks My Gym! read more

We LOVE MyGym Ventura! We are so grateful to be able to maintain some "normalcy" and routine during this unfortunate pandemic. My kids look forward to seeing their amazing instructors (Sia and Sarah) during their LIVE classes every morning via Zoom. This my gym is absolutely terrible, do not waste your time or money with this establishment. They are half invested in the time they spend with the kids there, and do not live up to standards of other my gym programs that I have participated in. The one in Santa Barbara is fantastic, optimistic and chirpy. The one in Ventura is frumpy, dull and a little depressing. Definitely not worth the drive, the time, or the money. I was extremely frustrated with their staff today when I requested cancellation in person after class and one of the staff members began to argue with me about my cancellation process and fees. She kept arguing with me (in front of other moms and children!) to the point that I had to tell her to back off because I am a customer and that she needs to stop. It was terribly embarrassing for everyone in the room, and I am so, so unhappy and unsatisfied as a customer. That is the worst customer service that I have ever seen. I am mortified and shocked that she just continued to argue with me, not treat me as a customer who had a concern and needs to be addressed about billing. Wow. I will certainly be blocking any more payments that my gym Ventura tries to process from my account, as I requested to cancel my membership two weeks ago and this same person told me to wait until one more billing cycle. Now she is telling me that a second billing cycle needs to roll through before my membership can be canceled. Well folks, you do the math. That is $160 and I will certainly not be go back to their establishment ever again. I will be blocking any payments that they try to pull from me again and I'm going to try to reverse the one that they took yesterday. Crooks, scoundrels, terrible service, terrible franchise. Choose another location for your child to play and socialize this is not the place to do it. read more

I've only taken my 11 month old for a couple of weeks now, but she seems to like it a lot. I love that everything is safe.
