Oren and his team ultimately did a good job cleaning all of the items out of the house that did not sell. The home was left neat and clean. However, the estate sale itself was poorly promoted. It was listed as a "flash sale" (one day notice) on Facebook and on Craigslist (same-day notice). Poor promotion predictably led to low turnout, and then Oren had the nerve to describe the sale of my deceased mother's belongings as a "total waste of time." (see screenshot) He seemed annoyed by the fact that we gave my mother's valuable jewelry to a family member and did not sell it to him or include in the estate sale. I would expect someone in this line of work to act with compassion and refrain from informing a surviving family member that the sale was a "total waste of time." Perhaps if your estate is more valuable, this company will treat you better.

When they arrived, they told me it was going to be almost double what I had been quoted over the phone. When I told this to the guy who seemed to be in charge, he said it's because the phone quote is from corporate and they don't know the local rates. This was total BS and I pushed back. He then told me he'd do the job for only $30 more than the original quote. Since I needed to have the junk removed and they were there, I agreed. I paid by credit card, but didn't get a receipt for services. I don't appreciate the bait and switch business practices and would never hire them again. BTW, these guys have probably never seen a college and are far from "hunks".
