Was looking for a place that did Facials and a Pedi while visiting family and came across this place. It is a bit off the beaten path but worth it in my opinion. So salon is cute and the people I've interacted with there are nice. However I was recommended Kim the hair stylist for a haircut. Called her on Monday 12-30-2024 and she set up an appointment for today 1-1-2025 at 12:30. Keep in mind she set up the appointment with me specifically saying I am off on Wednesday today. Showed up to salon and she wasn't there. Called her and she said she texted me and rescheduled me for tomorrow. I don't know who she texted but it wasn't me!! I could even send her a snapshot to prove it. Kept insisting that she had texted me. I said I have no text you just have texted someone else. If you wanted to stay up and party on New Year's Eve then why schedule an appointment with me on New Year's Day? I have no issue with people partying but keep appointments or don't schedule the next day after partying. Word of mouth is how you make your business. Not recommending anyone to you lady. So yeah not cool but other people in the salon are nice so go see them. I just wanted a freaking haircut!!! read more

O.M.G.! I love this salon! Could use some serious updating in the lobby and the bathroom but anyways onto the services. I decided to pamper myself for the day so I started with a massage from the massage therapist there, so amazing, Cassie is magic. After my massage I got my lash extensions by Kendra,who was so sweet and really knows her stuff. I am officially an addict to lash extensions, not only do I get to wake up and go now but I get to nap while getting beautified! after all my royal treatments, ( I couldn't stop) I got my hair trimmed up by Kim....she is so sweet and listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that! I replied to a Facebook post by Brandy Wine for 75.00/ cut and color. I told her I had very dark boxed color on my hair and was looking to lighten it up. I was super aware this would take more than one process. I sent her pics of my hair as well, so I thought we were on the same page. I brought her a Dutch brothers coffee and was prepared to get pampered. I should also mention she did come off as a bit of a diva right off the bat. She will not work mornings or weekends. I told her initially that was fine, I would fine someone else with more availability and then she said she could make a weekend work because she needed the money. So, I show up and as soon as I sit down she exclaims, " oh, you have black hair!" I don't, but it is dark. Then she lets me know that we will be lucky to get my hair to a brown color. I was looking for something more like highlights to start. Then she started getting super patronizing. She let me know she has 20 years experience and that she wouldn't even touch my hair unless I let her do what she thought was best. I told her I could strip the dark color myself, that's not what I came to pay for. Then she continued to be rude saying I was going to fry my hair and that the crappy products I could get at Sally's were going to end up frying my hair so bad I'd be coming back to her or someone else to fix it. I told her I do this almost every year and I know it won't fry it because I do it in several processes. Anyway, my sister was sitting behind me with her mouth agape. She could not believe how I was being treated. She also intended to charge me more than we discussed because it's a "major color correction" nothing needed correcting. The best part. She snidely let me know she gave up an afternoon with her boyfriend to do my hair. So unprofessional! read more
