We brought a group of about 20 for a team building day. Organizing it with them was very easy and the communication before the day was great. When we arrived, the process and safety instructions were easy to understand. Once we got trained, we started practicing and then she led a friendly team competition. We had so much fun, everyone said this was one of the best events we've had. Would definitely do it again. Came out and tried an archery class at the Archery House. The instructor taught the basics of safety, the equipment (bows, arrows, quiver, arm guards and targets) and shooting technique. It wasn't too long before we up and shooting at targets....unfortunately no bullseye for me. The field and equipment were in great condition with ample space for shooting and meticulous guidance and organization from the instructors prevent participants from getting injured. They made it fun by adding games, personal challenges and team challenges. Who knew an archery range would be a great spot for a date? read more

I took the one-day adult beginner class and the 5-week adult beginner class. I had a lot of fun in both! I would say that for the 5-week classes, it may be difficult to actually improve your skills because Tara is the only instructor for maybe 20ish people (not actually sure what the class capacity is), so the class is more just to enjoy shooting than to get good. But it's definitely an enjoyable experience nonetheless! I plan to do the adult intermediate class later this year read more

The beginner class was excellent. This was my daughter's first exposure to archery, and she enjoyed the experience. Tara does a great job providing clear instructions and educates the group on the equipment and safety. She's a great coach! We will be back with the whole family. We had so much fun spending our time here. It's our 3rd time doing this and the more my kiddos learned about Archery the more they want to keep going. To book a lesson you can call the instructor directly at their phone number of their business listed here on Yelp, or make an appointment online. They are located at Morley Field . The Archery is only on the week-ends for Group lessons, but I believe she does Private Lessons too or you can rent her equipment. Tara is the name of the instructor at these Great Archery Lessons, she's an Amazing instructor. She will of course start by explaining safety with the Bow and arrows , then she will start up by letting the participants shoot practice target. There will be a couple of practice rounds where she checks on what you need to improve like aiming right, if we are holding our bow right, etc. Then after a few practice rounds when we were used to holding the bow and arrows Tara will give more Chalenging games. She will put the partcipants in groups and then start the games. On the first challenge we had to shoot a BALLOON TARGET , we needed to make the balloon pop which was very challenging for me because the Balloon kept moving around, but that made the game more hard and challenging. Then the second game our objective is to hit a ZOMBIE picture that was placed on our Target. Then the third chalenge we had to shoot a CD , it kept rotating like a disco ball which was so fun and chalenging for us. The Final challenge was to shoot an arrow inside the STYROFOAM CUP. Whoever's group finished all of the challenges first is the winner of the game. Winning doesn't seem to be the main objective here, I think having Fun is what's more important because everyone had so much Fun learning how to aim and shoot at the targets . We came in second place, but after the game everyone was just laughing because of all the we had and all those crazy shots we made. When we were walking back to our car after the game my kids just kept talking and laughing about how good they did and how it was funny that some of us didn't do as good. One of my kids said, if the Balloon just stayed put I'm sure I had a perfect aim :). We will definitely come back to this Archery Lessons and bring more friends and family with us. read more

Got a groupon coupon for two and as the website suggests, 'gave it a shot'. I and my wife absolutely loved this activity. It was lot of fun learning with a bunch of strangers! It was a two hour session and we had to book it almost 3 weeks in advance to get the slot. The 'coach' seemed very knowledgeable. She very kept the training interesting as well as effective by mixing 'theory' with 'practice'. She constantly monitored us and kept on adjusting our bows, arrows, stances as necessary. It was a first time experience for me and I absolutely loved it. Strongly recommend. read more

We did my son's 9th birthday party with Tara from Archery House, and I have to say, it was one of the best birthday parties I have ever been to! She was SO helpful and accommodating when scheduling the party, and worked with me to try to find a backup location when it looked as though our party would get rained out. She was AMAZING to work with, and that was before I saw her work with the kids! We have received numerous comments from the kids and the parents who were there...ALL were thoroughly impressed with the way the party went. Tara somehow managed to keep 15 kids completely interested and excited, while teaching them new skills, and she didn't even bat an eyelash when the sky opened up and the rain came pouring down. Tara did a great job with my 9 year olds birthday party. We had 14 kids ranging from 6-9 and she had them all safely shooting and actually learning skills. I would highly recommend archery house. My daughter had a great time, as did all her friends. read more
