Awesome first experience axe throwing. I got this via Groupon as Christmas gift for my boyfriend, well more for both so we could have a fun experience together. Thanks to our instructor Xander who was so great we were able to learn the techniques and throw with passion and protection. My guy was awesome, this looked so natural for him. I was scared at the beginning but the coach was super reassuring and checking on us all the time. The location is at an unassuming area around Miramar and coexisting with Escape rooms. I like the medieval theme and decor. We had an awesome time!

We had such an amazing time at Axe Throw San Diego. The atmosphere and aesthetic are absolutely incredible, the space has such a fun, welcoming vibe. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and a special shoutout to Xander, who was an awesome mentor! He made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his great attitude, clear instructions, and fun energy. This was by far a much more pleasant and engaging axe throwing experience compared to the last place I visited. I left feeling confident, happy, and already excited to come back. I'd definitely recommend Axe Throw San Diego to anyone looking for a great time, can't wait to go again!

This is the best axe throwing location I've been to. Xander was our instructor and gave the most helpful instructions I've received at one of these places. After our warm up, I had only landed one tomahawk. He came back and showed me what I was doing wrong, and I hardly missed after that. My wife and I had such a a good time and so glad we chose this for some birthday fun. 100% recommend. Thank you, Xander!

We came here for a date night and we were not disappointed for our first time. We had a great time the staff was welcoming and ax throwing is pretty fun! This was a very relaxed vibe attended to quite frequently. We will definitely be back here in the future!

We were here for our team bonding activity. there were few parking spots but not a whole lot. this place is on the second floor, so make sure you are able to walk up the steps. This place is a combination of axe throwing and escape rooms. You could do both in one place if you really wanted. There was a guy that explained everything with safety and how you should throw them etc... he seemed like he really likes working here. They also have a lighter axe, if you don't have any muscles like me.. there are scoreboards and different ways to play the games. It was a lot of fun. They also have Game of Throne vibe happening with some giant dragon hanging from the ceiling and they had a throne. I'm not sure why but it was a fun photo-op. We had a great time and will be coming back!

Brought my boys here on a rainy day during winter break, and the when there was a rare blizzard in Big Bear. Primal fun for sure!! There's also a giant connect four and king size jenga that you can tack on to the night. If that's not enough there's an escape room too! We'll be coming back for sure, and not just on a rainy day. This place would be great for parties as well with all the shiek decor.

So much fun! Got our own lanes.

We had a wonderful time at Axe Throw SD. They were super accommodating with our business group and the Axe coach was so helpful in setting up and making sure our group had a great time. It was awesome to be able to bring in our own outside food and beverages. We had the private room called the Great Hall, which was huge and had lots of space to spread-out. Thank you again!

Super fun. Xander was a great instructor. I felt nervous at first but it was actually way easier and laid back than I could have guessed. Left feeling confident in simple axe throwing.

First time I've gone here and first time axe throwing. Took my dad for his birthday. Xander helped us out and he was amazing. He showed us some basic tips, checked in on us, and showed us more tips as we practiced. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience more fun. I will return to this place just because Xander is there.

We have no experience axe throwing place and this was amazing!! We had Xander as our guide and he rotated visiting the different groups and teaching/sharing pointers. It was a solid hour of throwing time (which was more tiring than I expected) and it was a blast!! We did this as a date day and loved it. Bonus- we each got our own lanes and after 30 mins of learning/trying they give you games to play. It was great and Xander was awesome!!

The Friday before the event the Special Events Manager to check the room and to make sure that everything was set up correctly. The day of the lunch, the only issue that I had was the table with the programs and name tags was to be outside in the hall and was inside the room, creating a little crowding. The tables were beautifully set, and the room was memorable. The buffet table and drink station were separated so that there was no overcrowding. The food was wonderful! Rolls and butter, garden salad, garlic mashed potatoes, garden vegetable medley, grilled chicken with lemon butter and capers, sliced roasted beef in red wine mushroom reduction, and assorted mini bite desserts. Superb! The event coordinator was in the room as people arrived and until everyone had their food. She continued to check on beverages and food, and to see if I needed anything else. The facility is wheelchair accessible and restrooms were close and well kept I would recommend the O'Club at MCAS Miramar without reservation. Terri H.

Place was pretty slow around that time, we got seated pretty fast and as soon as we got to the table, the carts came. Carts were full and had a lot of variety, service has improved tremendously since my last visit, and there was multiple people tending to our table. Food was pretty good as i remembered, and the items that weren't available in the carts were ordered separately and came out very fast. They didn't ignore my water levels this time around. One call out is they're very strict about leftovers during AYCE. So just watch out for that. We had 3 half pieces of eggroll left and 2 pieces of shumai and were asked to try to eat some more haha. Fair but honestly not mad about is since I was so impressed with the overall improvement since last visit. Make sure to go to their limited time AYCE offering! Absolutely worth it

I'm naturally very hands-on and like to be involved in every detail, so the thought of handing over control felt a little nerve-wracking. But looking back now, hiring Megan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we brought her on board, Megan was organized, communicative, and so easy to work with. She asked thoughtful, detailed questions that made me realize there were a lot of little things that had slipped through the cracks, things I wouldn't have thought about until it was too late. She truly helped me see the bigger picture while still caring about the smallest details. On the day of our wedding, Megan absolutely held it down at our reception venue. We had 238 guests and she managed everything with calm confidence and precision. She coordinated all of our vendors, made sure everyone was where they needed to be, and somehow still kept me in the loop without overwhelming me. It was such a relief knowing I could fully trust her to handle it all. She paid attention to detail down to the T. Every element of the setup, from décor placement to timing transitions , flowed seamlessly. You could tell she genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life exactly as we imagined it. She even helped me create a full wedding timeline leading up to the big day, and thanks to her, everything ran right on schedule. I'm someone who has a hard time handing off responsibility, but I'm so glad I took the leap and allowed Megan to take charge. She's professional, dependable, calm under pressure, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Coordinators like her are rare to find these days, and I'm endlessly thankful that she was a part of our day.
