Why they needed a shampoo person (she was not gentle) is beyond me. Maybe they were all new and trying to set the salon up - I don't know, but I did not get a comfortable relaxed feeling or feel as though anyone there had confidence. Worse haircut of my life! I have had a stylist accidently snip a strand or two unevenly, but after 50 years of getting hair cuts, that was the worse of it. The stylist at Alura didn't listen to me and cut my hair in such a way that made my naturally thin hair even thinner. Yep that's what she thought she should do. No texturizing, no feather cut, no precision cut. She made vertical cuts which left me feeling like my hair was butchered. I hope to find a stylist as good as the ones at Eden. I really wish that salon hadn't closed.

Avalanche Salon & Spa you should be ashamed of yourselves how you treat customers after one of your stylists messes up. I was asked to come in to get my full refund, when I got there the women made the statement of this will end our business with you and your not welcomed back. Ummm excuse me why would I want to come back? I made it clear what I wanted with my hair dye, I was told it was attainable. Even while the stylist was dying my hair she said it would still be close to what I wanted, yet the end result was not even close. You darn well know your stylist messed up but instead of apologizing you continue to argue with me and tell me my hair was unbleachable and blame the dye I use at home. First the stylist was informed of the dye I use at home before even setting the appointment second you did a bleach wash not a full bleach. Lastly my hair is 100% bleachable. I've bleached it with the same products salons use so don't tell me my hair is unbleachable when you didn't even attempt to do a full bleach. Then to tell me this hot mess in the 1st photo is indeed pink and purple, are we serious? That is a dark mess with some purple streaks and red, on top of some spots missing dye all together. Not to mention my scalp is also stained from what your stylist did. The second photo is what I was told I'd be getting. Now let's go a step further. The last time I came in for a cut the same stylist messed up my under shave and bangs. There were patches of hair unshaved and my bangs were uneven. My under shave is not difficult, it has no fading, it's just a simple no attachment shave. And if you see my bangs in the photo, that's suppose to be newly cut but you can see the choppy look. I was just gonna take my refund and move on but since you wanted to continue to argue with me even while giving me the refund I will be filing complaints against your salon. I was in tears in this photo, I've had a beanie on my head since this was done, and I'm now going to have to pay even more to get someone to fix it because of the damage your salon did.

She is a true expert in hair extensions, color, and cut. My extensions are completely undetectable, comfortable, and easy to maintain--not just on salon day, but every single day. She doesn't just do your hair... she designs it around you. But what really proved how exceptional she is was what she did for my husband. After a night out, he admitted something he normally wouldn't--he felt old. His hair had gone too white, and he just didn't feel like himself anymore. Someone had even mistaken him for "the older guy in the office who doesn't look so good for his age," and it really stuck with him. I told him, "You have to go see Amany. This is what she does." From the moment he sat in her chair, she assessed everything--his face shape, head shape, coloring--and created a look he never would have imagined for himself. I have very fine hair so I'm always worried about lightening it, but it wasn't damaged at all. Paulina was really friendly and kept me updated on what she was doing and the amount of time she thought various steps would take. I've had so many compliments, I'm in love with how it looks. . I don't have much input on the store as whole but everyone in the salon was so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back next time I get my hair colored.
