My recent visit to Archibald Ranch Dental was due to an infected tooth, & as many of us know, it's really difficult to notice or care much about anything when in pain.  In hindsight, now that I'm a lot better, there were a lot of positives to take from my visit/experience. The staff was welcoming & friendly.  The office & clinic areas were clean & presentable.  My assessment was done with care, my situation was thoroughly explained & they worked with me, to make my out-of -pocket cost manageable. From the second you walk in the receptionist is soo knowledgeable and helpful to the staff that is welcoming and supportive to the doctor with a soft touch and thorough care every time. I hate going to the dentist but I needed a check up bad! I've had messed up teeth all my life and decided it was time to fix them. I came to the right place! The staff is friendly and caring, my dentist, Dr. Romana made me feel at ease and he did an amazing job on my teeth!! Along with Danny and another dental assistant, can't remember her name, sorry. Had a bad finance experience - was refunded an incorrect amount and the office tried to charge me out of pocket for their mistake, and when said I thought that was odd and didn't feel like I should have to pay for their mistake, they made another transaction to the in house finance company for the charge and it was double the amount. I told them that the front of my teeth are starting to become sensitive and i domt know why, and they didn't document it or address it during my general check up. They ignored it and didn't write it down, assumignly , so if future problems arise later, they arent held accountable for ignoring it. During my last check up 6 months ago, they told me I may need a root canal but I refused and got free fillings instead because it didn't make sense to need a root canal when I've been going regularly for checkups for 3 years. If I had teeth decay they needed to let me know whe theres a chance to save the tooth, not neglect to notify me and only let me know late so I can pay more for a more expensive process. This pla i.p.oce is filled with scammers who don't care about their patients. Will let their teeth decay even while they notice so they can suggest an expensive process for their benefit. Once I get better insurance I'm leaving. Below are some more problems I have had with the staff of archibald ranch dentist in ontario. I have been going here regularly for about three years because I am covered through my mom's insurance to go here. For 2 years exactly now, I have had braces through them as well. My experience with them has been average and at times the staff can be unprofessional here. I had been trying to find out if I forgot to attend a scheduled orthodontist meeting this year and forgot which results in paying 100$ regardless for the missed scheduled meeting. The next month the receptionist asked for an additional 50$ on top of the regular 100$ that I pay per month for my braces. The policy is if you miss a scheduled appointment, you still have to pay. I had been asking for proof in a signature form or in the orthodontist documentation to find out if I scheduled an appointment and missed it, because i had a feeling that I did not schedule an appointment and that they needed to refund me 50$. They kept saying "yes you definitely paid check your statements theres the payment record on our end," which isn't good evidence because I did pay the following month because the recoiptinst said I needed to pay at least some of it for the missed meeting. They stalled for 5 months, and instead finally showed me the document attached just to make it seem that I paid off the entire 100$ that I owed them for the missed meeting. But it doesn't make chronological sense because there is no reason for me to pay 50$ last year and then 150$ this year for a visit that I missed earlier THIS year. If I did miss a visit I should pay 50$ and 150$ both this year. I dropped the issue because they convinced me at the time that I had scheduled and missed it. The reason for my doubt still is I feel they want to keep my 50$ and made it seem like i paid it off "last year and this year" so i would stop bringing it up and stop trying to get my 50$ back. That's a lot of money!! Additionally, I was supposed to be done with my braces treatment this month in July, but I will have to continue to pay 100$ a month because I still have my overbite. I researched how long it takes for an overbite to be fixed, and I found it takes "6 months to 2 years." They gave me my bands towards the end of the treatment, but now I have to keep paying. They never gave me the thick rubber bands that surround the braces that you typically see on people towards the end of their treatment. The orthodontist seems caring but he is cheap, the general dentist gave me a painful clean up yesterday, probably because I was in the middle of trying to square out the payment debate, and overall most of staff seems very complacent and not caring and it shows with how they treat their customers. I highly recommend this dental establishment. The secretaries, the dental assistants (shout out to Carla! She's very attentive and has a sweet touch,super awesome!) and the GOOD Dr all made me feel comfortable and washed away my insecurities,worry,and doubt. The wonderful work they did has given me confidence in my smile again,I no longer feel self-conscious of an involuntary smile. The freedoms concerning my speech,expressions,and of course my long lost smile have all flooded back to me the moment I left the office after procedure. From my heart thank you all. I was very nervous about going to the dentist in general. When I was referred to Archibald ranch dentist I was very excited because I heard nothing but excellent things about this office. I was even more excited to see that the office lives up to its reputation. The staff is very friendly and kind. I walked in right on time, didn't wait very long at all. April was very helpful when taking my x-rays and prepping me for the doctor. You can tell she is a pro! She is very knowledgeable, I immediately felt very comfortable with her. When the dentist, Dr. Alex came into see me he spent a few minutes chatting with me. What a great guy! Taking a few minutes out of his busy schedule to chat and get to know me as his patient! His style is very interactive which I really enjoyed. He explain to me exactly what he was doing and what was going on with my teeth, as opposed to just letting me sit there with fear and anxiety LOL. When the check up and the cleaning was complete I spoke to someone in billing (I believe her name is Sandra).At this time she explain to me what my insurance covered. She made sure to explain to me a few options and suggested the one that would benefit me the most. I have a few more visits, I am certain that I am in great hands. dr. Great office staff..but takes a long time to actually see the doctor after roomed. This is the norm..and today my wife informs me the doctor was complaining that they had 10 9 oclock appointements, and didnt know why they were scheduled that way..The doctor that did our (all 3) of our fillings , isnt there anymore and the new doctor complained about having to file down our fillings she put in..Geesh I wish they would actually try to keep an appointement time. I has been a customer for 20 years. No longer. The last time I came here, they lost my record so I had to fill out a new patent questionnaire. I put down I had surgery(minor) about 5 years ago. They needed a medical release from my Medical provider even thou I been here after the surgery 5 years ago. My medical provider doesn't provide medical releases, just full records which I was willing to provide so I was stuck. I started going to another Dentist office a few miles away. Comparing the other place, it's like night and day. Comparing the two: Here a high turn-around rate of Dentist. I've never had the same dentist twice. So far at the other place I've had the same Dentist all three times, I've been there. Here the booths are small and the other place has good size rooms. Low Quality. Here it seems the Dentist are over worked. They will come in, read your record, do the work, and leave for another patent. At the other place, the Dentist will spend time with you doing what I think is a higher level of quality. Also this place doesn't do all that's required. The other place is going to do a bone graph. Here they didn't mention it even thou the Dentist made a comment "Oh I see bone" Here the Dentist are not friendly, they don't introduce themselves, or go into the details of the treatment plan. Not connected on line. Here the records are not stored on-line. It's all handwritten on paper, forms are not on-line, no email reminder of next appointment, no review of treatment plan, etc. They don't seem to have specialist in the same office which means they will refer patents to other offices. read more

I went into this office last week. Very disappointed, the front office staff was friendly but as soon as I was taken to the back and seated I waited for like an hour . Office seemed old and grungy and I'm very concerned. This office was beyond disgusting the assistant was female and she was not friendly . She was very pushy and loud . I heard male dentist speaking very rudely to the patient next to me who didn't really even seem to be over 18. I will never go back nor would I ever want a family member to visit this office. I have been a patient of Doctor Koroush for a couple years. He saved 2 of my teeth. My case is extremely rare in that I have Titanium throughout my face because of an accident. That didn't intimidate Dr. K at all. I am happy with the services provided. This is the worst dental office I have ever encountered. Trying to get dental services for my 81 year old mother. They are not professional and want your money regardless of insurance. When you ask about what you are being charged the manager gets defensive. This office was reported to the insurance company for an investigation. CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! BUYER BEWARE! This dentist office is a rip off! You will be ripped off with and without insurance. The have exorbitant prices. They will take their cut from the insurance and then tell you that you have to cover the difference. The doctor charge me $299 for a root canal plus $125 for the filling of the root canal. But then the doctor decided he could no do the job and referred me out but had to come back for the tooth to be extracted and wanted and additional $300 for the extraction and $35 for the office visit. So that tooth was going to cost me $724. The staffed claimed that the doctor worked on it so the fees stood and when I asked to talk to the doctor, all of a sudden they dropped the additional $335 they wanted. Said it was ok that they'd do it this time. But I had already paid $424 for a root canal that didn't happen, so a extraction cost me $424 when they cost $120 everywhere else. On the last visit to get the stitches removed, I over heard a lady speaking to Sandra a staff member arguing that the job she had done 11 months ago was not done right and that she didn't even wanted and had it done but Sandra argued that she needed to pay additional money to have it redone. The lady was furious. I also got a quote for braces and was quoted $4500 plus xrays ($150). Told the lady I could get them for $3500 elsewhere and she said she'd match it if I brought in proof! Why would I jump hoops when I can do it elsewhere. Gave me a pretty good idea of what a rip off they are! If you choose to stay, be very, very cautious and get a second quote as you will most likely be ripped off. read more

Everybody at this office is very nice. The dentists are knowledgeable, and informative. I prefer to be treated by Dr. Salam. The hours are flexible, everything is clean, and they let you pick a channel for the tv above your chair. They were very patient with me when I had my last wisdom tooth pulled and I was in a lot of pain (I didn't expect it since the other three didn't hurt). I have recommended this office to my friends and family and will continue to do so. They also worked with us on prices. read more
