As soon as they get your insurance payout, they toss you aside like garbage. But the second you're paying out of pocket, suddenly they're all smiles and fake kindness. The front desk staff act like they're high-powered executives when in reality, they're just rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. The daughter is unhinged -- screaming at patients for no reason like some kind of lunatic. These people are toxic, unstable, and dangerous to deal with. They even REFUSE to give you your own records and documents when you request them, which tells you exactly how shady they really are. My crown literally fell out, and they couldn't care less because they had already pocketed the insurance money.

I am extremely disappointed with the care I received at Barosum Dental in Upland. My experience…read moreleft me feeling unheard, misdiagnosed, and ultimately traumatized. While I was out of town on July 12, 2026, I developed severe pain on the lower right side of my mouth. As soon as I returned, I scheduled an emergency appointment for July 15. I also had a previously scheduled deep cleaning appointment for July 16. During my emergency visit, the female dentist appeared to minimize my concerns. Instead of focusing on the area where I was experiencing pain, she asked whether I had seen an endodontist for a referral from a year earlier and questioned a shadow in my gums that had existed for over 30 years on the opposite side of my mouth. I requested X-rays, and a 360-degree scan was performed. After reviewing the images, she told me everything looked fine, that I had no cavities, gave me Sensodyne toothpaste for tooth sensitivity, and said I was cleared to proceed with my deep cleaning the following day. Later that same day, the office coordinator called and told me they wanted me to see the endodontist before my cleaning. I went to the appointment, and within five minutes the endodontist identified a cavity. My primary dentist confirmed the finding and recommended that my wisdom tooth be extracted. I was extremely upset that my condition had been missed during my emergency visit. I asked to speak with the female dentist who had evaluated me, but she was unavailable. I scheduled the extraction for July 17, 2026. Because I had previously had a successful experience using nitrous oxide during another tooth extraction, I requested it again to help manage my anxiety. I was numbed for the procedure and was told I was receiving nitrous oxide, but I never felt its effects. I noticed the dental assistant was on the phone for much of the procedure, and it appeared that no one ensured the nasal cannula was properly positioned. I informed both the oral surgeon and the assistant that I did not feel like I was receiving the nitrous oxide, but my concerns were dismissed. I remained anxious throughout the procedure, and the extraction was ultimately unsuccessful. I left the office emotional, traumatized, and deeply disappointed. This was the worst dental experience I have ever had. As healthcare providers, listening to patients is essential. I repeatedly expressed my concerns and felt they were ignored every step of the way. I will not be returning to this office. I also plan to verify that my insurance was not billed for procedures that were not completed, including the deep cleaning and the unsuccessful tooth extraction. I hope this review encourages the office to improve communication, patient care, and attention to patient concerns so that others do not have a similar experience.

This business will bill as Place of Service(POS) 11 Office/Home visit, rather than Place of Service (POS) 20, Urgent Care Facility. My copay for an urgent care facility is $20, all services covered, deductible waived. My co-pay for an office visit is $40 for a specialist, deductible applied. I was charged the specialist office visit copay as well as deductible for supplies. Upon calling the billing department, I was told that they are contracted to bill as an office/primary care, not as an urgent care. Be aware that this is serious misrepresentation of the business to anyone who is bringing their child here for Urgent Care Services. The marketing says "Little Star Pediatric URGENT CARE''. Every other urgent care facility I have utilized has billed appropriately, save this place. It is unfortunate, because their hours are convenient and the staff is kind.

I came to know this dental clinic through a friend. I had a different dentist who did a crown job although the root canal was done at a different location. The crown cost me almost 900 dollars, and it did not hold, in less than a year it fell off, I had to go back they glued it back and in less than 6 months it fell off again, I went back and they glued it back again, then in 2 months it fell off. I told the dentist the crown was not holding, the secretary was rude and argued with me and said it was my fault. A friend told me about BRIGHT DENTAL CARE. At the clinic the dentist explained to me the reason the crown was falling off (something that my previous dentist never did and kept blaming me for it). What the Doctor told at BRIGHT DENTAL CARE made sense. Unfortunately for me she could not work or guarantee anything if she glued the crown back, she explained to me it would fall off again. She told me she could redo the job but that I had to pay the crown, she only charged me 300 for the crown, TO MY SURPRISE THE CROWN WAS OF THE SAME QUALITY BUT WAY WAY CHEAPER THEN WITH MY OTHER DENTIST. It's been 2 years and the crown is there with no problems. I'm extremely happy with Bright Dental care. They also do my dental clinic, and they make sure the insurance covers all the cost whereas at the other clinic they only gave me one dental cleaning and I had to pay for the other cleanings done throughout the year. I recommended this clinics to other friends and relatives and they have had their dental care done there and they are all happy. The secretaries are nice, the dentists are nice and very professional, in the other dental clinic I had no real direct access to the dentist which made things difficult, the times I had appointments and talk directly to the dentist to explain the problem the dentist always put the blame on me. This dental care clinic at bright dental care is to me the best, I'm very happy with their patient dental care, politeness, and understanding, and the Dentist is always accessible to talk to me directly, no hassle, no problems, no drama, they are very understanding and their prices are affordable and they work is a 10 out of 10. read more

WOW is all I can say! Dr. Al-Jidui is amazing!! If he isn't your dentist currently, you need to switch over asap..why do I say that? because he's an honest guy, very friendly, and quite frankly hilarious! He's so patient and kind, I actually feel comforted when I have to come for my check-ups/procedures...yes, I just said comforted and dentist in the same sentence. I had first come to him as a recommendation from a friend of mine, and I'm so glad I did! My other dentist would tell me I needed expensive procedures, but when I came to get a second opinion from Dr. Abbas he told me that that was not true at all, and he showed me and explained to me that I only needed very minor fillings. He could have just done what the old dentist did and performed painful and expensive procedures and pocketed the extra $$, but he didn't. I'm so thankful for him and his staff. If you care about your smile ! Dr. Abbas is the king of dental care and design . My smile has been perfected by him since 2008 . None of my filling have ever been off nor effected over all these years . It's very hard to find a Doctor Who is experience nowadays you find dentist who are just graduates or practicing on your teeth. I was referred to Dr. Abbas by a friend and for that I am very thankful. I needed a second opinion for an abscess underneath my gum as my previous dentist was not quite sure what to do but had given me three quotes for what he thought needed to be done. Dr. Abbas immediately knew what needed to be done. He referred me to an Endodontist who gave me a discount which saved me around $2,000.00 as compared to the outrageous quotes I had from my previous dentist. Finally I have found a dentist who is honest and truly cares about keeping my teeth and gums healthy without charging an arm and a leg. I was recommended by my friend to come here. I am so happy she told me about this place!!!! My dentist was very sweet and gentle. I had cleaning and cavity filling done with no problems. I also felt my anxiety levels were not as high with the dentist here. Hopefully I just need cleanings in the future but if I do need more dental work, I will def come back here !!! read more

The daughter is unhinged -- screaming at patients for no reason like some kind of lunatic. These people are toxic, unstable, and dangerous to deal with. They even REFUSE to give you your own records and documents when you request them, which tells you exactly how shady they really are. My crown literally fell out, and they couldn't care less because they had already pocketed the insurance money.
