This is a car wash review only: I was in town and needed a car wash. I didn't want to get out of my car so I had to find one that would let me stay inside. You know, like a drive thru wash. I found one in Concord to my relief. The Arco had one and this was one is a little different than the ones I have been to before. You have to pay the cashier for the service before you get the wash. I paid $14.99 for the regular wash. It's the cheapest one! Drove up to the wash area to see two workers waiting for me. They scrubbed down my car before the machine brought my car into the wash itself. Remember you need your car in neutral. I don't know why but I love the sound the wash makes. Love the feel of just sitting as the machine moves your car! After the wash and rinse, I was put to the outside! Another worker was waiting for me, by his lonesome self, he towel dried my car. I saw this arco has a car wash and I decided to pull in to get a cheap one done, however I was pleasantly surprised because I basically got a hand-car wash + help from the mechanical machine style wash! They have a couple hard working men wash your car and tires by hand, then you go in through the car wash. At the end, they towel dried my car! I felt bad because I didn't have cash to tip, but I wasn't expecting this service. I appreciate the guys who were there doing this! Thank you!!! My car wash was the lowest priced one. $14.99, but it came out better than most upper priced washes I've paid for in the past (gas station ones). The inside machine wash does look outdated and is a bit small inside- maybe that's why they wash this way with man power and the machine - but I was happy with my service today!! read more

This Arco is reliably the cheapest in the area (if you want Chevron, the cheapest is the on on N Main St in Walnut Creek). I'm pretty sure the lanes are all one way, so be wary of that. They have a car wash that's done by hand in the beginning and hand dried at the end. I came by around 6am once and the window was closed, but if your paying with card, I believe that still works, according to the screens on the gas pumps. read more

Car wash workers don't give instructions. Kept my foot on the brake and the conveyor thumped my car hard. New car. Pretty annoyed about it even if there is no damage. I love coming here for my car wash. Although the car wash went up a few dollars it is still a good deal. The first two men wash your car off then you go through the wash to get it washed off . The third man thoroughly dries your car off . They all did a great job . I gave each of them a tip . read more

Convenient and you need no membership like Costco gas down the road. They were closing at 10pm so if you come later you'll have to pay with card if they keep the pumps on. Would recommend I had no issues with this store. read more

Pretty good wash. The setup is a little weird, and they currently have construction going on while they remodel the fill-up area. So you have to get out of your car to go to the window and pay for the wash. The good thing is that they take credit cards. The great thing is that they don't charge extra. Prices now start at $13.99 for the regular wash, which, honestly, is all that I need as it covers the basic need of having a clean car on the outside. They'll hand wash your car in the beginning, have it go down the automatic conveyor belt-driven wash , and then hand dry at the end. If this place isn't crowded, I wouldn't mind coming back here again. It was nice coming here at 8:20a. Only one other person was in front of me, no one behind me. read more

Lawsuit waiting to happen. There is no clear directional signage on where to pay. So when I pulled up thinking the attendant would take my form of payment they said I would have to go pay inside first. This is when I stepped outside of the car injuring my ankle on the car tracks that guide the vehicle in the car wash. Very dangerous! I even told the I attendant they had no clear signage where to pay and he even agreed. I will consult a personal injury lawyer about this matter. read more

Love Their car wash. It has spot free rinse. You do not have to towel dry your car. They also have the skinny vacuum cleaners.

My credit card was charged $100 and I only got $80 worth of gas. Just happened to check my cc balance later same day and noticed the $20 difference. Called and was told by "owner "? to check back in 24!hours to see if $20 was credited back. If not, I'm supposed to go back down to gas station to get refund! What is this??? What if I was out of town buyer? This sounds very fishy and illegitimate. Will report back on outcome. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved to concord and his car needed a really bad car wash. We were looking on yelp and found this car wash. Let me Just say, they scrubbed his car prior to the car wash and scrubbed his tires for about 5minutes. He was so happy because sometimes when we go to drive through car washes we sometimes always have dirt on the car but they exceeded our expectations and his car a is shinning lol they even hand dried his car after. Definitely our new spot to bring our cars. And it was only $14.99!! read more

Update: Just called the place to complain about the horrible job they did on my car, but no one could speak English for me to even explain. Smh. This place sucks. $15.99 for a car wash and doesn't even include the interior. Paid extra for the wheel dressing and my wheels are dropping wet with no shine. If you're pinching your pennies, are okay with regular gas versus premium gas, and don't mind driving to Concord, then check out this gas station. It's a tiny location located down the block from Costco that seems to have regular customers, by the way the attendant at the counter greeted certain folks when they went up to pay. Each time I had gone here, there were always a lot of cars, but the wait was short. The reason is that this is the cheapest gas in the area! It's easy to get in and out of the station, as you can enter/exit from either Monument Blvd., or as most people seem to do, enter/exit from Detroit Avenue. *Note: Pay cash! You pay $15 for the works I asked him how do you get the rims clean he says the guy at the end does it for you and I go through the car wash the guy at the end drives my car off with a dirty towel and then walks away. I told him I'm supposed to get my rims done and he says oh yeah I'm coming and then walks over with a bowl and a sponge thingy and wipes some stuff on my tires and then walks away. This is the cheapest gas station in the area by far! This station is cash or debit only which isn't very convenient, but with prices so low, it's worth it. This station is always 20 or 30 cents per gallon below other stations. Gasbuddy informed me it's one of the cheapest stations in all of California. There's plenty of pumps, but there's kind of a lousy layout, so you either have to wait in line or be creative in manuevering to get to an available pump. The crowd here is a little hostile, as one customer verbally assaulted me to get to a pump; it's okay though, it's definitely worth it for cheap gas. The employees are always friendly too. My only other negative comment is that twice I have paid $40, only to have the pump stop at $39 and some change. I'm not sure why it doesn't give me the correct amount; I always have to manually pump it up to the receive the last remaining 60 cents worth of gas. read more

Love coming to this Arco for various reasons: the cheap gas prices, the convenience (it's near my house), and the guys who work there. I've been coming here for years now and I always have a pleasant experience here. Everyone is so nice, and I can always count on saving a few cents here on my gas. It gets pretty busy around the after work rush hour time but I don't mind waiting. Wish they offered credit as an option but I usually use my debit card anyways. read more

Cheapest gas in the area. Lol. My poor car is probably like girl what are you feeding me. I don't have a luxury vehicle so this price/gas is budget fitting. This gas station gets very busy. Also, when the lines get too long the parking is a little awkward. However the pumps obviously are long enough to reach the other side if you happen to park on the opposite side of the gauge. When you try and pay for gas at the attendant station you'll notice it's very small. It's more like a Kiosk. But they do have little snacks and soda offerings for cheap. (Sodas for a $1). The attendants are always very nice and work through the line to assist everyone timely. The bonus here is they offer car washes for $9.99. If you want to add anything extra you can do so individually. I always pay for my gas in cash but its nice to know cards are accepted. To my understanding they put a hold on your card if you do use card. I would recommend coming here to get your fuel. read more

Do not go to this station and certainly don't use the car wash! The Personnel don't care about your car... scrapped my bumper and the manager has an attitude that it's a normal everyday occurrence and he then told it was my fault. Took the paint off my car and he said "no it's nothing" I asked for the owner's name and phone number and he said "oh he is on vacation not available". Do not give these people your money!!! I can't tell you how many times I have driven by and never gone to this car wash until today they did a fantastic job for $10 cash the only pet peeve I have is that there was no signs telling you you had to get a ticket for you went up to the carwash line that would have been helpful but none the last the guys were super gracious took my $10 cash got the ticket for me and then completed the service! I actually like going to this car wash but today, I left really very disappointed. The water marks caused by our street sprinkler were still very visible on the right side and on the glass window of my car. My car is is brand new, I just got it last March. When I asked the guy, he just told me that they can't do anything about it. Oh well, so I have to google search how to remove water marks on cars. I found the answer. I wish they know how to deal with it, like recommend something or offer it as an extra service removing water marks. I'm just bored so I'm doing a review. But I'm still gonna go back. Cheapest gas in the area, unless you want to wait 15 minutes at Costco! Station manager said that "the new system does not accept credit," which I find very unconvincing - considering that I have been able to use it at every other ARCO as long as I paid inside. The car wash is half-manual half-automated, which is a nice touch for getting rid of the trickier stains. They use a conveyer belt style wash that allows multiple cars to be cleaned continuously without creating a jam. For 10 bucks, I'd definitely do it again! Don't forget to tip :) read more

I have been desperately searching for a decent car wash in the walnut creek and concord locations to wash my jeep. I have been to many that are not very good or you have to sell you car to pay for it. I recently stumbled upon this awesome place, surprisingly, and I know I won't try another. The staff is friendly, they hand wash before and hand dry after. With tip I paid $16.00 for the deluxe and am more than happy! My only word of advice, aside from you def have to use this place, is make sure you are getting the deluxe if you pay for it. Oh, and they have a vacuum there as well! read more

Today, the "going rate" was $3.35 - $3.39, for what are the traditionally cheaper places in the Walnut Creek area. This Arco was $3.14. Yelp did not steer me wrong on this one! For $10 cash I got an excellent car wash. They pre-wash the vehicle before it goes thru the mechanical wash, then they towel dry using the right soft towels. I have a black SUV and it was LONG overdue for a wash. They did a great job. I was a little sad I didn't have more cash on hand to increase the tip after witnessing what a great job they did. SO please be prepared with extra cash to tip as they do a great job! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes (no line). This was a great find and I'll have to make this my regular stop with how inexpensive and easy it was to give my ride some TLC! read more
