The prices are very reasonable compared to other places that charge more, while providing poorer service. My car is always washed quickly, and looks amazing when completed. They have great monthly wash packages as well for those who are consistent with vehicle upkeep.

This is an update to my 2014 review…read more This place has gone somewhat downhill since my review 10 years ago. First of all--I would not do more than an exterior only wash here if that fit in your budget--it's too expensive for me. I sat for 1/2 hour watching how they dried cars that paid for a full wash. If you are lucky you get some one that cared--but most cars come out of the wash with clean rags on the hood and the employee will wipe dirty areas of the car--like the inside door jam area and then use the same rag to wipe the inside. Some employees just go through the motions of making like they are cleaning--like this one guy that wiped just part of a wheel and then wiped the top of the trunk a bit, then the rear bumper a bit. The other thing the rubbed me the the wrong way is the attitude of the manager here. I have not met anyone that has such poor customer service skills--really it seemed like he does not like people (or maybe just me dressed in my bike riding gear and helmet?) I said hello directly to him when I entered the store and he did not say hello back. Then a bit later when he left the counter and was straightening the aisles up I came right up to him and asked him how his day was going just to see what is going on with this guy. Again, it was painful for him to respond, but he begrudgingly did. I see they also removed the bike rack from the front of the store--maybe they don't like cyclists buying overpriced water and things here? It was a very unwelcoming environment that seems to me needs completely new management. Hey, I don't know anything about running a gas station and car wash--but maybe this is the best it can be? But one thing I can tell you is that if I was in charge of this business is that I would welcome every customer that comes through the door especially if they said hello to me first. When that is not done--it's a sign to me that there are problems here.

I can be standing their for a while in front of their faces waiting to pay, and they still keep having their side conversations with each other. I have yet to have a good experience at the AMPM. You will almost always encounter homeless people here approaching people for money or food. There is a McDonald's behind this gas station, so it gets pretty crazy here at times. You will also find a lot of large semi trucks here. The car wash at this location also sucks. It doesn't wash your car well and it definitely doesn't dry your car at all! The dryers need to be fixed on this thing. You can see what I mean in the photos.
