In the course of relocation, I found myself searching for storage in a land where there a dearth of storage vacancies. In my quest someone in the business suggested I go a little "up country" and check out Arco's Self Storage in Pioneer. Wow! What a find! Even though this facility is several miles in the opposite direction from where I wanted to be, it is worth every mile! The website said the office was closed on Monday's so, in desperation, I called to leave a voice message. Much to my surprise, a nice lady at an Arco's facility 150 miles away answered the phone. She was very helpful and had all the information about the Pioneer facility that I needed to know; availability, cost, security, rules, etc. She said she would relay the information to Kathleen in Pioneer and I should expect a call the next day. Like clockwork, Kathleen was in my ear earlier than I expected, eager to please and, even though the pickin's we're gettin' thin, had a couple of units that I could choose from, at prices that rival the local competition with a level of security and cleanliness not seen at any enterprise previously perused. Kathleen made the sign-up process simple and easy, provided a tour of the facility, overview of the security measures and answered all of my questions with professional and friendly aplomb. It isn't often that we do business with someone who exhibits genuine enthusiasm for their role and handles their job like they own it! It's not often that one finds themselves needing to rent a storage unit for their excess stuff, but when we did we looked to Arco's Self Storage in Pioneer for just that place. The storage facility has a great manager named Naomi, and the units are clean, secure and safe. One great thing about the facility is the friendly and available manager. Naomi is just a doll, she couldn't be more helpful. The facility changed ownership recently and made some terrific improvements - including the management! Other great things about the facility are the automatic locking gate system with a number keypad, the many security cameras, the availability of different-sized units, and the overall cleanliness; it's a relief to have our our belongings safely stored here. Arco's Self Storage is a great place for anyone who needs to have a little "extra room". Their prices are good and the best part of all... is the feeling of having your items stored safe and secure. When I moved from San Francisco to Pioneer, I wasn't going to be in my new place for several months, and needed to stick most of my ridiculous amounts of stuff in storage. I called a couple of places in the area, and eventually chose this one. They weren't the cheapest, although all of them were fairly comparable in price, but the location was good, the security seemed very good, and the people on the phone were really nice. It was exactly what one would want in a storage facility -- good automated access, excellent security, clean units, and easy procedures for move-in, payment, and move-out. The manager was fantastic -- super helpful and friendly, laid back yet very professional. I appreciated the thank-you note they wrote, too; it was a nice touch. I thought about only giving them 4 stars because I would have liked to be able to access everything later than 10pm. Still, I understand the decision from a security standpoint, so I can't really fault them. There is access 7 days/week, 365 days/year. read more

I definitely recommend Arco Storage! I have two storage units at Arco Storage in Pioneer. The Customer Service I have received during the time that I have been a customer has been awesome. Most recently, I interacted with Cole, the manager in Pioneer. He called me to express concern regarding my vehicle in storage. He had a ready solution and offered to help me once he realized that I would be unable to attend to the situation in person. He was knowledgeable, caring and very helpful. I ended the conversation with Cole knowing that my Car was in good care. You can't put a price on having the peace of mind that your belongings are being stored in a safe, clean environment. Old storage place I used for years had no cover and not very secure. Called for a covered trailer space and at the time they did not have any available. I was asked if I wanted to be put on a waiting list. I did, but was skeptical about anyone calling me back. Well a few months later Morgan called and stated they had a space available, but I was out of town. She was very accommodating, saved a spot and now I have a place for my trailer that is covered (No more sun deterioration). It has monitored security systems and available power plus lighting. The best part was the easy sign up and customer service provided by Megan. She really exemplified what customer service is all about and a wonderful ambassador for the company. Recently through the past unpredictable 12 Atmospheric Rivers, it has caused some damage to the surrounding area. Amazingly our manager hiked up and down, during a blizzard, to be available to all of us concerned customers. She called daily for plow services to have access to our units. Unfortunately, everyone was snowed in so supply and demand fell short. I feel it's important to commend her for her outstanding services. When Arcos doors were buckling, Morgan did not. There were a lot of accidents due to the icy conditions. Hang in there Morgan, I know your getting an ear full. Your work is not unnoticed. Thanks for all you do. read more

Arco's Self Storage in Pioneer is the best storage facility I have ever used. I have used them twice in the last two years and both times they have been very helpful. The facility is very clean and has very good security. Your storage unit is accessible by coded security gate seven days a week 6am to 10pm. They have a great introductory offer of half-off the first three months. The manager, Naomi, is very helpful and responsive. When moving items into the storage unit this last time, I opened the door and found two bottles of water waiting for me. Thanks Naomi! read more

Morgan is a great manager. Shes so helpful, and concerned for the clients. Morgan takes her job very serious and tries to accommodate our needs, she is an asset to Arco. Due to the recent storms many of us suffered damages and Morgan was distraught over our losses. I just want to say I appreciate Morgan so much and I'm glad she didn't get injured while she was checking in on everyone's things during the storm, while keeping the office open. read more

Naomi is the U haul Manager and Manager at Arcos Storage, she is always so friendly and helpful. The storage units are clean the lobby area is also clean and smells fresh. The U haul trucks are clean as well and have a water bottle in the cup holder waiting for you when you get in the truck. This place has new owners and they added so many great things, 32 cameras, cleaned all the vacant units, trimmed all trees. The list goes on and on! I am very satisfied with this company. I dealt with Naomi who was very helpful and professional. The units and grounds were very clean and well taken care of.
