This company is awful! i would give NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD! I called for a quote for services…read moreand after they finally came out while I was working they just fixed the problem in the sewer out front. Then they demanded I pay them for fixing something I didn't want them to fix. I had multiple other companies coming out for quotes yet these men felt entitled to just do what they wanted. This was in the street out front of my house and not inside my home. Then they claim it was emergency services when it's an issue I've had for years and was never an emergency! A bunch of liars that scam people!!

Bartman Plumed our house 45 years ago; we didn't have to call them again for 45 years. That isn't…read morequite true; we pumped our well dry 25 years after our house was built and the submersible pump needed replacing. That second pump lasted almost 25 years, but a spring leaking into the well caused sediment and another failure that was not the fault of the submersible pump. So now we have a pump that'll last the rest of my life (I'm 72 years old). Neither service call was an emergency since I was able to reduce the pressure and get by untill they arrived. Five years ago our 20 year old control box failed. They came immediately for that... at 4:30 PM. They were prepared to pull the old pump... at 4:30 PM. You can't beat that kind of dedication to a customer. Bartman keeps up with current information (had me set the pressure higher since the manufacturer recommended it; used a two wire pump this time since labor cost and reliability are better). They installed our second pump while we were away and left the control box for me to install. They could have billed us for a visit to adjust the pressure, and scheduled another visit to install the control box... but they don't work that way. Knowing their customers has something to do with that, but we know and trust Bartman, and they know and trust us.

Beware if you choose to use this company for your plumbing and heating needs!…read more I am glad that I didn't let Gehringer steal 17k out of my pocket for a new heater that I did not need. Sorry Gehringer, you couldn't get the 17k out of me, but maybe you will have better luck with other customers going forward! Facts: Gehringer Mechanical came out to clean my heater as they did in previous years. Upon paying the bill the technician mentions that I have a CO leak and need a new heater. The technician did not provide any back up data to his findings to show me. (Nor could they provide any when I asked for it). Luckily for me, I decided to get other opinions from other heating companies only to find that Gehringer lied to me. I had no CO leak and my heater was fine. Was Gehringer really trying to try to sell me a heater? When I called Gehringer to confront them on the findings, they were trying to find excuses! I demanded that they send me out another one of their technicians free of charge to prove to me that I really need a new heater. When their second technician came out and did the testing with the meters, everything was fine. NO CO leak and I was told the heater was good and safe to use. They even sent their equipment for testing to see if calibration was off, and as I expected it was fine! There is no explanation as to why the original technician told me I needed a new heater. I was also told that they will not hold their employee accountable for this, because he is their best technician! If this is the best your company has then you don't have much of a company in my opinion. Seriously, do you really want to have a reputation as a dishonest company? Gehringer claims this was just a simple accident. I am not sure how they can call this an accident. Your technician intentionally told me I need a heater knowingly that I did not. I am not sure this qualifies as an "accident".

SK came out and did a seasonal checkup on our AC. We're new to the home and area and found SK…read morethrough Yelp. They were on time, checked out the AC, added coolant and then took a quick peek at the furnace. They said both look good for the age (17 years) and should be good for a while. I had questions about rebates for heat pumps and he had answers about rebates, rough costs and advantages of the new heat pumps. He reiterated that we didn't need to change out our current equipment but if we feel it's important for environmental reasons there are good options. We'll definitely be using them going forward, and have a fall furnace checkup scheduled.

since 2018 Saki has done the yearly maintenance our rental property for $54. Last cooling season he…read moresaid the outside unit was near the end of its life, the unit was in the house when purchased. It''s a rental when it dies, we'll replace it. On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.
