In addition to quickly resolving the problem I encountered, he provided a bit of technical information that will help me as I get fully settled in my home and experience usual homeowner's questions and concerns over the next many years. This house is much different from the one in which I lived previously. Mark was professional, knowledgeable, and very competent. He answered all of my questions and did not appear to be hurried or rushed. I really appreciated his prompt, professional, and thorough work!

What is suppose to happen is when the technician comes to your property to diagnose the issue, they are suppose to upload the info to HSA. HSA will then grant authorization to start the job. Once the job is completed, the plumber is suppose to send the invoice to HSA. Based on the repair, HSA will either pay them or will bill you if it's not covered under warranty. Trey did not upload the diagnosis that was completed 2 weeks ago and had his service tech complete the repair. I called HSA 3 times that day of the repair to ask if I had to pay. They told me that "until he uploads the diagnosis we cannot do anything." So, I asked "then what do I do if they ask for payment once job is completed?" They advised "do NOT pay and explain to them to reach out to HSA." Trey explained to Mark that I had two different work orders 1) for the leak and 2) main shut off valve, saying that HSA will only cover the leak and not the main shut off. That didn't make sense to me because to fix the leak you need to fix the shut off valve. So after the repair was completed, I got on the phone with HSA to confirm AGAIN. Unfortunately, the tech waited with me and eventually left. This was a 4 hour repair. I didn't get to talk to a rep until being on the phone for 1 hour. After I explained my situation, I asked if the diagnosis was uploaded and the rep said "No. We're still waiting for their diagnosis..." That confirms to me that he is trying to double dip or perform fraud. Trey has no integrity. It's sad because I am all for supporting small family local businesses. But Trey is trying to take more money from customers who give up and don't want to handle the guilt. When this was happening, Trey did not call me once. He had his technicians fighting on his behalf. As other reviews have stated, he only communicates through text messaging. I attempted to call him once and he did not pick up or return my call. But texting him, he will respond easily. If you're like me and you have HSA warranty, and they use this plumbing service (because you have no choice), do NOT pay them! What you do is get an HSA rep on the phone on standby when their close to finishing the repair and have HSA tell them that the customer will NOT pay. I saved my family $475. The funny thing is that the next day, the technician (not the owner) called me and said "HSA is covering the costs. So don't worry about the payment." Please be aware and please treat his technicians well. The technicians are hard working and their just following what Trey says. Trey should be handling the issues between customers and HSA but he's having his technicians do it.

I am writing this review as a lesson learned...I hope it helps someone…read more H & M Plumbing highlights include - Questionable invoices - Lack of transparency in pricing/scope of work - Complete disregard for the customer's concerns I hired H & M Plumbing to move a heating pipe as part of a larger bathroom renovation. A plumber showed up same day and I was happy. He also had a junior plumber with him, conveniently and immediately costing me twice the man hours...They got right to work without much discussion on pricing/scope of work. After hearing the plumber literally beating the hell out of my heating pipes during the job...2 hours later, and about 10 trips back and forth to their unmarked truck the job is complete. I'm told this job will cost me $1,062...I was completely blindsided by this price-point for a 2 hour job...but I pay up and am happy that the bathroom remodel project is moving forward again. THE NEXT MORNING I enter our secondary bathroom which is just below the pipe H & M had worked on the day before. There is water damage on the wall/ceiling and 2 sqft bubble full of water ready to pop! There was apparently a slow drip all night from the pipe they worked on....I immediately called them back to explain the issue. THE PROBLEM The plumber returns and fixes the leak at no charge, of course. However, after multiple conversations H & M Plumbing would not accept any fault or responsibility for the water damage in my home from the pipe they worked on... After paying a ridiculous amount for the job they day before, I was now left with new problems...Completely poor business practice to offer no help on damage clearly caused by their work. We may have disagreed on who was at fault with the water damage, but the least they could do is be human and work with a paying customer on a compromise. Offering to split the cost for the water damage would have been a good start. I doubt Bill will return my call at this point... Overall experience had me feeling gouged on the pricing, cornered into a high bill, and left with more problems than I started with.

It left with a broken cabinet and broken drawer. We filed a claim but they denied it saying "it was an old desk." What does that have to do with the fact that it was in great condition before and they damaged it during the move? If you have an old Porsche or Cadillac that you've been keeping in a week maintained state and someone drives it into a tree is it acceptable for them to say they don't think they should help fix it because it was old? This company didn't do the right thing by their customers.

Two years after installation of our standard drop-in sink, the caulking has failed in a 3-inch area…read moreof the sink edge, allowing water to seep into the particle-board base of laminate countertop. This has caused the base to swell and created a large bubble on the counter surface (under laminate). (Laminate was brand new and professionally installed.) I called Roy to discuss. He said the caulk is not under warranty, and went on to tell me that wear and tear can cause this to happen. I said, So there's nothing you're going to do about it? He replied, Things just aren't made like they used to be. Meaning: no. There is no intermediate solution; the counter ($2,000+) must be replaced and the sink and plumbing must be uninstalled and reinstalled. In my 40 years of home-ownership I have had only laminate kitchen counters, and I have never experienced this problem. (I'll add that I've had no problems with the disposal, valves or drains that Roy installed.) NOTE: BRS Services advertises as "Handyman Professionals," but Roy was quick to tell me, after I described the problem, that he specializes in plumbing and electric. Huh?

They didn't show the same care packing our stuff to leave!!! They caused over $3000 in damages to our stuff. The ripped a huge hole in the mattress, didn't pack our washer properly, packed a full oil drip can of used motor oil then placed it on its side causing it to drip all over the contents of that crate, ruined all of our fabric bins, and I can keep going. I had to make sure the company was notified of the damage to the mattress because is wasn't initially on the inventory sheet. While I had a great line of communication with Jordan, that immediately fell apart with the mounting damages when we received our household goods at the next location. I can never suggest this company in good conscious.
