Great places for kids of all ages to hang out and play! Had a wonderful few hours with my nephews when we needed an inside summer activity.

Such a fun place to take a toddler and let them run around. I love that it's a free space for the community.

I am an out of town visitor but i have been in the area quite a few time the past many years. My…read morereview is on the exterior aquatic expierence as that is all i came for and tried out. First the website can be a bit weird and if you are getting day passes and it keeps saying its 'timing out' you need to make a Plainfield recs account first and it stops being weird. On my visit i purchased tickets/admission on the website because i could not tell if i could get in on location or not. Once we got thru the check in process we went to see the indoor pools first.... Well they were closed. OK... Went outside and its pretty expansive and clean. One of the non-tube slides was down as well as looks like 1/3rd of the exterior swimming items were down for what looked like cleaning since i saw staff working on it. From the maps view basically the huge lazy river side. As a non-resident the pricing i feel was a good value for goofing off in the water for roughly 3 hours. Onsite food isn't anything to rave about but at least it is available and it was not crazy prices. Tons of life guards doing an awesome job from what i could tell while watching the people watching the rest of us so i felt super safe and confortable they were keeping an eye on all the kids. I didnt grab any photos because i dont really like publishing anything with people in it. You will be pleastly surprised with what is in the water park area let alone the other things you can do here. I am sure i will be back again and again.

So I decided to pop up in them since that stop answering the phones, oh in person was even WORST! Receptionist looks like she's in her 40s giving soooo much attitude, when she should have been giving more information like she did for the previous customer in front of me! She had brochures and everything! Yes I'm convinced they don't want US! Yes Us here! Stay Woke!

The party area looks fun, and the entrance rates are certainly reasonable. There are plenty of games to win tickets from, and the bouncy areas look fun, big, and bouncy. The staff was super friendly. We had an issue with the very first thing my kid wanted to play. They took time to solve the problem and comped us a few tokens. There were a few things that didn't work or weren't on, but that's normal for any place like this. We didn't try the snack bar, but maybe next time. If I have one knock, it's that there isn't even a single sign to suggest people stay masked right now. It was only when I left that I noticed not a single person was wearing a mask. I normally wouldn't care, but with Covid numbers at an all time high locally, at least putting up a sign to suggest it would make me feel better. I plan on going back sometime, preferably when there are hardly any people there for now.

The food was too expensive for what they offer. It was OK clean but could have been much better. I can't remember exactly what the in and out of the facility was but it wasn't acceptable to me. Sort of like cheaper to get in and then because of rules no outside drinks, meals, you are forced in a way to eat there so the kids get there monies worth. Basically it's a rip off but our grandchildren enjoyed their day and that was we wanted was for them to have a lot of fun.

I really like this place. They will Tie Dye pretty much anything....shirts, masks, headbands, bags,…read moretowels, socks, sweatshirts..... They are not open on Mondays, FYI. There is huge parking lot there that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is in. I got there as soon as they opened so, I was in and out in about 40 minutes. The place starts to back up as the day goes on. They only have 3 to 4 people working the floor and assisting customers at any given time. The staff is awesome. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. They made the process very easy and simple. The shop is very clean and well organized. The first thing that you do is get a card to fill out (one card per item). You then pick the item you want to tie dye. My little went with a tote bag and a shirt. They have most of the items on display around the store and shirts on a rack that you can try on to get the right size. You then pick the colors you want to use.from a swath of colors on the table. The also have each color on shirt displayed around the shop. Three colors are included and each additional color is a buck. After all that you pay for your item or items get some disposable gloves and aprons and they send you to a work table (either high or low). They bring out your items and the color dyes that you picked out. From there you pick your tie Dye design, from stripes, swirl, or patches and they set your shirt up to the design you selected by using rubber bands. My little chose stripes for the tote and swirl for the shirt. After it is set up you add the dye in the designated areas between the rubber bands (front and back). After that, they take the item or items and prep them. That takes about 10 to 20 minutes depending on how busy they are. During that time, you can play one of their board games they have there or write on the chalk board or play on your cellular device. After they have prepped it, the last thing you have to do is rinse your items out in the sink until the water comes clear and then run them through a wringer and you are done. The bad up your stuff, give you some important care directions and then send you on your way. One thing to note during this is to be carful. As the signs say at most of the tables, "dye dyes everything", so if you get it on your hands or clothes it will be there for a while. In the case of your clothes, forever. This was an awesome experience and my little had a lot of fun and loves her creations. It is a tad on the pricey side, but well worth it. Great indoor family fun and you get to bring something home to show for it. They do birthday parties, corporate events and field trips. I highly recommend checking this place out.

A film festival is probably the last place you'd expect to experience Silly Safaris, but if you've…read moreever experienced the coolness of Heartland Film then you know that you should always expect the unexpected. In this case, the 2023 Indy Shorts International Film Festival had a "camp" theme this year. As a result, the fine folks from Silly Safaris showed up at least a couple times showing off their fabulous animal actors including such beautiful wonders as Owlbert the Spectacled Owl, Chip the Bunny Rabbit, Ruffles the Screaming Hairy Armadillo, Radar the Fennec Fox, and a handful of others including a seriously ginormous snake. Their human counterparts handled the animals well and were entertaining, informative, and great despite the unusual settings - one was the kick-off event and the other was the awards night event. People loved the animals and everyone wanted photos. My favorites were the armadillo and the owl. Silly Safaris offers a variety of programs for a variety of settings including schools, libraries, birthday parties, and faith-based programs. They also offer sponsorship opportunities and even "safari shoutouts" where you can get an "animalgram" from one of their animals. This was so perfect for the camp theme, though it probably stretched the truth of what kinds of animals you might experience at an Indiana campout. Who cares? It was so much fun. While this is an obvious program for kids, I couldn't help but notice how much all the adults enjoyed this unique experience. Indy Shorts was just voted one of the 25 coolest film festivals in the world - this is exactly why right here. These kinds of events are a blast and a great way to balance out the demands of a busy film festival. If you get the chance, I'd definitely consider a Silly Safaris program.
