Showed up to buy a stereo and harness kit. The guy running the place must have thought i was a sucker. He bid me $279 for the wiring harness, saying they were usually $350. He stuck to that price after showing him they were $139 on crutchfield and $129 on amazon. I understand a little markup, but jesus. Nobody sells them near what he said. I bought my Hyundai Ioniq 5 yesterday 5/3/2026 , and the very next day 5/4/2026 . my first stop was Arden Audio for window tint installation. After the job was completed, I noticed visible scratches on the interior door panel that were not there before. Since this was my first stop after purchasing the car, I am certain the damage happened during the tint. You can clearly see the damage in picture. Those are light surface scratches/scuffs on textured plastic-very typical of a tint tool or belt rubbing while working near the window edge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I brought it to their attention, the staff denied responsibility and claimed it was just dirt, which is clearly not the case.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have photo evidence showing the scratches. Steer clear, stay away!!! These guy are not professionals. I purchased an amp and speaker set for my truck and had them install it. First thing I noticed, smudge marks, and greasy fingerprints all over the glass and screen. Second thing I noticed was the sound coming from one speaker was louder than the others. I tried to use the equalizer to adjust and noticed that it was wired incorrectly. Sound setting set to rear and sound would come out of front speakers only. Set to front, and the sound was only in the rear speakers. Left was right and right was left. Then I noticed that they scratched my ceramic tint while trying to access the tweeters on the dash. I kept inspecting it and kept finding things. I also noticed they broke the plastic rail guards when they removed the seat to install the amp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh and they for some reason couldn't install the tweeters from the set I purchased so they took it upon themselves to use other speakers without even consulting me or notifying me of this alteration.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I confronted the manager about the obvious scratches on the ceramic coating he tried to tell me that those scratches were already there. Then he denied they had anything to do with it. The coating had been put on two weeks prior to this and didn't have a single scratch. I had to come in on 3 separate occasions to get the equipment dialed in. There's absolutely zero reason why I should have to return after your professionals have installed it the first time. It should have been done right to begin with. The point of this lengthy complaint is to outline a few things about this place. They will try to upsell you on everything. They clearly don't test the equipment after install. They won't accept accountability for damage during install. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are terrible at communication. Seriously, F this garbage ass place paid $900 for two products (new deck and updated sound system, both front and rear speakers). 1. The deck: Idiot installer badly damaged my dash with a simple deck swap. Called the owner and sent photos of the damages. He said he'd have to ask his employee to get his side of the story. Two days later, I had to call back. The employee got on the line and first tried saying he didn't need to remove the vents to swap the deck. When I called him on that bs, he then changed up his story by saying he didn't even do the damage and that he took a "mental note" of prior damage. Lmfao. You can clearly see where the asshole liar used a small Flathead and gouged the hell out of it. I have all the service records, and neither the vent nor the dash has ever been touched. When I brought the car back, the owner(?) took pics and said he "has a guy who can fix it." Never heard back from him. 2. The sound system they put in is trash. I've tried changing all the audio settings and it still sounds like I'm just listening to my phone connected to a cheap $40 portable Bluetooth speaker. The speakers even sound blown! Update: 12/27, rear speakers not working. Left front door: speaker rattles. Brought my car back and Dia said to mess with the deck settings. Not sure if my options going to matter because this place a ce seems to have a following good or bad. Short of the story why I am here. My radio and car alarm was screwed up. I came here to get a new radio and alarm installed. I also had to get one door speaker installed since It was never installed properly. Just like the one of the reviews I read, then said they were going to call me by the end of their work day but they never did. I went to go get the car. The speaker was not hooked up. The car alarm was hooked up but the automatic doors was disabled. After I got home I called them up to ask what happened. They guy said. The doors should work just fine. I told him they don't. (He's playing dumb with me at this point) I also asked about why didn't he put the door speaker in. He said we did I said no the speakers is still sitting in my front seat. I took my truck here 2 years ago thinking they were the best in Sacramento. I was dead wrong. I paid over $1100 for a used sub box with new speakers. New rca cables which they never installed. Then to top it off I was taking it the amp that I purchased from them as well out of my truck when I noticed the installer had cross threaded the grounding wires connector. So they forced it and in the process they spilt the Allen screw. Now I am fucked because it was over 2 years they installed it and they were already acting sketchy when i went back to complain that my sub box was used and starting to rattle. Careful getting window tint here. Looks good for a few months but once the summer heat came my rear window and side windows started bubbling. Contacted them and they didn't seem to interested in helping me get this removed. Lifetime warranty means you have to save your receipt AND call the manufacturer yourself and file a claim. Now I am having to go to a professional shop in Roseville to have this taken off properly, it's worth it paying 200+ at some of the more reputable companies for a better quality. Huge ripoff and very dishonest practices. They'll take advantage of you if they know you know nothing about audio. Went to them to get my subwoofer installed in my new car front to back. Charged me $400. Brand new European car driven by an audio noob? Prime victim, no? Told me they were giving me top of the line wiring. "I'd put this in my own car". They charged me accordingly for the "top of the line wiring". The cheap wiring and interface melted within a few months. I went to another audio shop and they asked if a friend did it for me from how ratchet the job was. Within seconds they said it was a shady job. I was also told that my wiring melted while being installed so they needed to use an aftermarket screw setup to hold the wires together since it melted the plastic in the box. I was told nothing about it. They asked me a lot of questions and they quickly figured out that I really had no idea about audio. I just blindly trusted their call. read more

Keep in mind I only went there once over a year ago for my radio installation and another time for my back up camera.Issues came after all of this and I have never went back. Do not go to these place. Pacific audio(Arden Audio Affiliate) 1. Backup camera was hanging after a week of being installed by (Cliff) 2. Steering wheel controls not connected (Cliff) 3. Glove box broken(Cliff) 4. Seat warmer not connected (Cliff) 5. Boss left when he heard we were coming back(Cliff told me ) Arden audio 1. Ac compressor failed shortly after radio installation(installed by Pedro) 2. Computer was shorted and no long sends signal to compressor 3. Pedro didnt plug in my car charger ports 4. Owner denies responsibility for anything after bringing proof from 2 different mechanics and says wiring doesnt cause issues like shortages (False!) 5. Pedro install my radio,vents,and navigation to its original and secure position (pictures as proof) 6. Pedro tried to return my car to me without the cupholders and certain trim pieces connected( i refused and asked him to put it back together!) 7. The owner and pedro were watching youtube videos on how to install a radio for my vehicle! 8. They concluded that i need a special harness for my car(over a year after original in-dash installation! 9. New Ac compressor still doesnt blow cold because of the computer issue 10. Pedro called my 5 mechanics diagnosed the failed compressor "Idiots" 11. I went to the audio shop and the owner told me to fix the problem, that they cost with the car and then they will put my radio back with the correct part 12.
