The guy who originally quoted me and sold me my system for my truck was great and hooked me up with a good deal on the gear .however their installation guys are straight up garbage. If I would have known about audio performance prior to what i know now i would have said something. It did sound great out the lot though until a month later I started running into shortages and one of my subs blew out and that's not even lasting 14 months or even blasting it. The install almost looks like the middle of a robbery in place , wiring madness and oxidantes used screws of different sizes for my NEW aftermarket door speakers. Steve wonder could have done a way better job. I had to re wire and and reinstall everything so my stuff is protected and I'm receiving the full audio experience. DONT COME HERE!!!! The owner is unprofessional and they did a horrible job!! They broke the plastic part that goes around the radio. I upgraded to screen, original price was $528. because they broke the plastic AND DID NOT FIX IT BY THE WAY By!!! The owner deducted $28 so my total came out to $500. And before that, I walked into the store with my daughter (3 year old). The owner was so weird. He was asking for my number trying to take me out on a date. I told him no because he reminds me of my dad. He's old. And then he proceeded to tell me oh I will fix the plastic that we broke if you give me your number and let me take you on a date. This was extremely unprofessional, and I hate that he did it in front of my daughter and I am 20 years old. He look like he was in his 40-50 old. They did a horrible job very unprofessional if you were a girl do not go here!!!! I hate the radio that he installed. I asked a lot of questions for him too, and he lied!!! About the i'd rather just take my loss and go somewhere else. Which I did, I went to STERO CITY the guy there was very honest he helped me out nothing unprofessional. Where do I start...We went in first for new speakers. Went great. Sound was wonderful, service basically good. So for basics it might be okay. The mistake we made was going back. We went in to get an amp added. We had never had work done on the stereo except this shop. So he suggests an amp that would work and we left the truck there. And let the problems begin. Days and days and problems- needed parts, special harnesses, can't figure out why it doesn't work. Then they try to pressure us to buy a new stereo that it would "work better with" which I said absolutely not. Then the owner tells us that our radio stopped working completely and had to be sent out to repair because the board was blown. Not happy with a radio being refurbished now when it is only 5 years old and was in perfect condition and knowing that he tried to pressure us into a new stereo likely because his tech blew ours. So now we are driving around with some aftermarket piece of crap stereo they "loaned" us and $2400 spent. They get our stereo back from radio medics and go to install everything again. A day passes and we finally get the call that they can't do it... again... and that they will refund the amp and labor. So we go in and get a refund. No one comes out to listen to the stereo so we want to test it before we leave. The Right front side is completely not working AT ALL. At this point it was ridiculous. The owner swears he tested everything and it must be the stereo. So he schedules us to go BACK to radio medics. At this point it's been 5 appointments and countless time. 2 weeks later Radio Medics checks the stereo and confirms it's West Coast audios problem- go figure. They let us know that West Coast knows because they contacted them. But does west coast reach out to us... nope. So a few days later I call to get in AGAIN to get this fixed. The owner tries to schedule us 2 weeks out and I say no. So he squeezes us in. In the meantime I noticed something in my air vent- wire clippings!!! So here I am $1100 in cleaning wire clippings out of the floor boards and the air vent of my super nice truck. FINALLY on the 6th visit there they fixed the stereo and I will never ever ever go there again. BE WARNED that they are not professional, trained and cost money like they are. read more

Went into the shop after getting my 2016 Mini Cooper and asked about getting a front and rear dashcam. Mike was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I ended up choosing a Kenwood dashcam that included a 1 year warranty and left my Mini with him at 3 pm. He got it all installed and in working order by 5 pm and I couldn't be happier. It was installed very cleanly and professionally and I will be going back to him when I'm able to pay for a radio upgrade which will include a back-up camera installation. I have really tried not to ever do this, but it is really that bad! My wife and I both wanted to have stereos installed. Mine first, I was shown pictures of a flush mounted stereo and agreed on the model, the upgrades were for a kit that had to be ordered as well. Price for upgrade they said roughly additional 300-400 give or take for the new kit and additional labor. After installing it, it stuck out about a 1'1/2 with no trim kit at all. I asked that it be taken out and replaced because it really looked that bad. Mike agreed and put in a cheaper stereo, but the price didn't change. Then both mine and my wife's Radio stations would not work at all. Also, I had to wait for another part because my back up camera didn't work. They fixed my back up camera and installed something on my dash to correct the radio stations. I asked what it was on my dash, and they said for GPS to work with Carplay??? My wife's car was sent back in, but they tried to say its plug and play "so it is what it is if it doesn't work," I repeated, "it is what it is". I explained to the tech, that for 2400.00 dollars, to put in a new radio for it not to receive stations is not going to work. We left that day, and I was driving my wife's car and it just really started to annoy me that some people may just actually settle for this. I called and said maybe this isn't going to work and maybe we should just refund the money, but we agreed to give it one last chance. They said they were going to replace my wife's stereo with a new one because maybe it is faulty, and mine as well because we realized now that my Carplay when plugged in was not working. My wife's car radio stations were corrected, but not with a new stereo, I found where they had wired in under the hood an external antenna dangling and connected to her main fuse box with the lid still off?? Then it was my turn, they called an hour after I had dropped mine off for its "new stereo" and said it works when they plug directly into stereo, and something must be wrong with USB. I told him that's not possible because it worked when I brought it in. He offered to cancel out the cigarette lighter to correct the issue, i declined, then stated he said can add a USB in a blank, but it would not have a plate, i declined that also. I told him I did not want my vehicle to look Frankensteined!! He called me later and said Toyota puts a resister in the factory USB and that is why it wasn't working. (Special Note: additional Kits for new stereo's comes with replacement USB) just not here?? He can order the parts, but it would be another week?? I must also mention I am already in the 3rd week and on my 6th visit to have a stereo installed properly. At this point I just decided enough was enough and I just want it back to the way it was. They put my factory stereo back in and we agreed to do the refund. I must mention I have been getting rides back and forth to work while this nightmare plays out. Anyways they called and said my vehicle was ready, I got another ride back and we went over the refund, he stated he was not refunding the labor and then asked if I brought the box? I replied, how can I have brought the box you have my vehicle?? Mike seemed to think that was funny. He said he needs the box to re-sell the radio, and I just thought in my head, of course you're going to re-sell this to someone. Now I'm just pissed, so I got my keys and walked out, on my way home to get the box, I'm hearing the wind come thru the door where they did not secure the door trim and not reinstall that correctly either. Drove home and back to deliver the box, 2 hours round trip! They did a partial refund, and I couldn't leave quick enough. This place is a HACK, don't pay for the kits because they try and part it out to make it work half assed. I went to another shop the same day I left; they showed me the kit I had purchased, comes with dash hardware, wiring and you got it, a new USB to allow Carplay to work. even factory HD antennae without cheap hardware. It was a long drive for me as they're in Natomas and I live in the foothills. However, it was definately worth it. Justin did the work and explained how the system worked. He even tightened down a BroadMotion Fullvue camera rearview mirror that another installer at a different company put in. He also repaired the windsheild post that came undone because the other installer broke it, running his wires. To top it all off, Justin told me my headlight switch was burned out and although the dimmer switch for the dash lights worked, it would not turn on the overhead lights. He said it's all one unit so I have to take it to the Chevy dealer and have it fixed. All for under $400 for installation of an Alarm/kill switch and all the other work.
