Sean and his team knocked it outta the park! I needed to have the main head/console unit replaced in my wife's car. I damaged it while trying to clean it. I purchased a refurbished one off of eBay. When I called Audio916 to ask them if they could install the unit, Sean was very upfront with me. Gave me very accurate pricing for the job. He also told me that he could install the unit, no problem. But that with these newer vehicles, there is chance that the unit itself might need to be coded and that the dealership would have to do that. He told me he would do everything he could, but that ultimately I may have to have the dealership code it. I took my chances and not only did they do an outstanding job, but his head installer found that the unit I purchased had a defective button. So rather than just leave it, they went above and beyond and fixed that defective button to make the unit perfect! And Sean called me to communicate the issue in real time. I was absolutely ecstatic! They made me feel very well taken care of. And I didn't have to go to the dealership afterall. They did an amazing job! I had a very disappointing experience with this radio installation business. I paid a $1000 deposit to schedule a radio and speaker installation but had to cancel. When I requested a refund of my deposit, they refused only offering to refund $500. Shaun stated they have a no refund policy on merchandise but I didn't purchase anything. I called to cancel the work 5 days in advance and communication with Shaun became insulting and condescending. I asked to speak to the owner and was denied. Round 2! Apparently 2 were not enough. 4 12tw3s in a ported box and the magicians at Audio916 made it happen! Significant modifications were needed and it looks amazing. Completely exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. Had a few specific requests like clearing the child seat anchors and supporting the seats as the original bars were removed. First off, I started with reaching out to multiple places to install an Apple car play to my 2007 Volvo XC90. Audio916 was super responsive and very professional. It's honestly why I went to them! So we ordered all the parts for the CarPlay and gave them the deposit! They told me that it would take a few days to get the parts and again, true to their word! I have a 1968 Camaro that needed an updated stereo system. I contacted 916Audio after seeing such great reviews and spoke with Sean. I told him what I was looking for and he assured me he could help. We met that morning and he was very informative and genuinely a nice person to work with. We decided on the Sony XAV8100. I met with his other installers Robert and Sushi, both equally as nice. I had it installed on the following Monday. It was installed beautifully and far exceeded my expectations. There was a small blip (operator error mostly) so I called the shop and was told to come right down. Sushi and Robert immediately checked out the stereo and diagnosed the problem. It was mostly a tutorial and the problem was fixed and I was on my way. These guys are Top Notch at customer service and are a pleasure to work with. For 3 days trying to figure it out, with another 3 days to 2 different locations, no one could figure out why it wasn't working. It was a far cheaper solution, for me to upgrade my PCM with Android Auto, rather than bend to Porsche's requirements to use new map discs, each time the roads become out dated. And at $1k for each new map disc... That's a huge fee and inconvenience to install for getting the latest updated map! Now, with my Porsche Boxster. I'm now able to use dynamic navigation, thru Google maps and/or Waze. And with this new system, I can emulate all of my Android phone applications thru the PCM. Providing me immediate access... like: navigation, phone use, Amazon and Spotify music, texting, emailing capabilities... and all with dynamic hands free, voice activated functions. And... most importantly, I found this great electronics shop, AUDIO916... to complete this upgrade at an affordable price, with a quick turnaround (4 hours!).
