I don't recall seeing posted prices but she did inform me of the cost, expected wait and hours when I called. The only reason I didn't provide 5 stars is that she seemed impatient and exasperated when I asked her to retake the digital photo just once. It did not feel warm or welcoming, but she got the job done. Maybe she had other things on her mind that day. They have a large selection of frames as well if you're in urgent need for that.

Since I was renewing my passport online, I asked for the digital photos. The nice man let me use the mirror to make sure my hair was how I liked it, and then took a few headshots. What was uncomfortable for me was that his dog was in the store and kept licking my knee while I was sitting for the photos (1 star off). I have never seen pets roam free in a place of business. The photos were okay -- they fit the right dimensions required by the U.S. Passport Service. There were two photos that I sort of liked, and ultimately chose one of the two. The man told me they would be e-mailed to me. After I got home, I only saw one photo in my e-mail. When I asked for the second one, he said $25.99 is for only 1 digital photo, so I felt kind of ripped off (1 star off)...why would 1 digital photo cost more than 2 physical photos? I should have just had a friend take a digital photo for me in front of a white background with my phone. The process was fast for sure, but maybe too fast. $25.99 for 5 minutes and you only get 1 photo.

I have used Audio Video Workshop several times to transfer Super 8 home movies, cassettes, and…read morereel-to-reel tapes to computer files. They have always done a great job and the orders were ready when promised. One of my recent orders was especially challenging. It was 30-year old cassette tapes of me interviewing my 98 year old grandmother over the phone. My voice was too loud and hers too faint. But they managed to improve the balance and remove much of the tape hiss. I can now enjoy my grandmother's stories of growing up in the early 1900's.

The customer service here is abysmal. I called this place 4 times in the afternoon (well after…read moreopening hours) to inquire about film processing because their website is unclear on their services. No one picked up every time, they even just sent me straight to voicemail. I end up just driving over to find the place is not busy at the slightest. They just ignore calls. I decided to make the drive out here and just talk to them in person. I've never met someone more dismissive in my life. The owner cuts off everyone who speaks to him. Right in front of me there was a sweet old woman who noticed there was a cash discount that was posted on the well after she handed over her film, she kindly asked to pay in cash for the discount and the owner told her "Nah I already typed in your order I'm not changing it." Shoo's her away after that exchange, and then says goodbye calling her by her first name. Which tells me this is a regular customer that he treats like trash. I'm next, I pull out my super 8 film and before I can even ask a question he says "nah we don't do those you have to go somewhere else" Which is fine. Not everyone processes super 8 (even though the website says they do,) which is an old medium. But the delivery and customer service were horrible. Someone should have answered the phone in the first place so I wouldn't be here "bothering" this guy on his very busy day of sitting around doing nothing. Also, This guys website shouldn't be coded/designed like a 6th grader did it, so that way the information can be clear and easy to read. Their website explicitly says "We transfer 8mm and 16mm film" which makes me believe this owner is just lazy and chooses not to work. It's sad really, the film medium is a dying industry and there are very few people who can be there to revive this medium and unfortunately this one in the Bay Area can choose to help this art form, but instead they choose to be a lazy business owner who has disdain for people who want to support his dying business. I've received better customer service from fast food chains than this place. If/when his business fails it's not because of a lack of customers or demand of services. But at the fault of a pathetic and bitter business owner who does not deserve it. To everyone reading I recommend looking for mail in film transfer. They are much more accommodating than this pathetic place.

My main needs were creating Photoshop illustrations and retail banners creation for our company. He would create a file, tweak it, adjust the colors and images to our liking and always stayed on time and within proposed budget. He helped us with mobile application set up as well. Some graphic work, product photography, creation of eye catchy posters and flyers. I also used his services for my personal use - primarily photo restoration. It was amazing to see the final results of my grand, grand, grand parents photos which we thought were pretty much gone to come back to live and in color! Awesomely done at a very reasonable cost. It's easy to communicate with with guy. We did all necessary changes via email or phone. The quality of the design and Photoshop work is fantastic but the best part is the pricing - very cost effective. I highly recommend Michael's creative side. His skills are proven and solid.

I was lucky to…read morefind Sandy 4 years ago with my first born and the newborn photos ended up being incredible! It was an easy decision to go back to her with our second baby. Here are some of the ways that Sandy truly stood out: - Both our babies were born around Christmas holiday and scheduling was not an issue at all for Sandy. She checked in ahead of the appointment to ensure we didn't need to reschedule (much needed for parents that just gave birth recently) and had our themes ready prior to us arriving. - The themes were 10/10, better than what we could've envisioned ourselves. And our themes were generic such as lemon or Christmas. - The amount of patience Sandy has is seriously amazing! Our second baby was a bit harder to photograph compared to the first, in addition to a toddler who wasn't in the mood for pictures, and it didn't phase Sandy at all. She took her time to make sure she was able to capture each theme well and had tips up her sleeve to get the toddler to take some pictures. I highly recommend going with Sandy if you're considering photo sessions! She goes above and beyond to ensure all the special moments are captured and the pictures are so incredibly worth it.

You won't be disappointed with Clairbare Studios and Sandy's gift for capturing beautiful, lasting memories of your little ones.
