Communication was unreliable and unprofessional, such as stating quotes or samples would arrive the next day, then claiming to have 'lost' the tracking numbers and 'will re-send', or requiring reminders to reply with quotes when promised. I deal with printed crew gear often as part of my job at an animation studio, so this wasn't exactly my first rodeo ... my files were clean and properly formatted, my quote selections were clear and concise (garment product numbers, mock-ups, print locations, etc.) For a company with 42 years of experience making shirts, I saw no excusable reason for this level of befuddlement. Initially stated that printed samples would 'be very expensive', then after I let them know I'd decided to go with another vendor, stated (in an email TYPED IN ALL CAPS) that he had been 'planning to comp the print samples' after all. This is not a professional way to do business - if print samples were to be included, that information should have been part of our initial conversation. All-caps is never appropriate, but particularly not in this case when correspondence on my part was pleasant and professional throughout. Set-up costs were exorbitant in my experience, especially with other local screenprinters offering services with zero set-up costs. I agree with the previous poster who stated that the staff seemed frazzled .... perhaps I'd have had a better experience if I'd visited in-person, as they seem to have OK reviews otherwise, but for my purposes speaking with them remotely I'll be selecting another vendor who values my business and corresponds more respectfully.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I brought my graduation stole to T-Shirt Source in Daly City for embroidery and even paid extra to expedite the order from the normal 7 days to 3-5 days because my graduation was coming up. The day before I was supposed to pick it up, they called me and told me they had "lost" my stole. Instead of taking accountability, they told me to go buy another stole myself and that they would embroider the replacement "on the spot." I ended up taking time off work trying to deal with this mess, and to make things worse, I could barely even get ahold of the store while trying to figure out what was going on. When I asked if they could at least reimburse me for losing my stole, they told me they couldn't because they were "no longer making a profit" off my order. There was little to no apology, no urgency, and absolutely no professionalism. Then after all the back and forth, they suddenly "found" my stole and told me to come pick it up at 5:30. It became pretty obvious that they never actually lost it -- they just lied about it to buy themselves more time. This was one of the most stressful customer service experiences I've had, especially considering this was for a major life event. Really shitty service. I would not recommend trusting them with anything important or time-sensitive.
