So, I sent an email to them and boy am I glad I did! Adam promptly responded and connected me with the store manager, Matt. Matt was a pleasure to work with and the entire process from purchase to delivery was a snap. And not only was it a snap, but the grill was assembled and delivered (right on time by Jerry and placed exactly where I wanted it so it would be a surprise) on the day before Christmas without extra charge. They always deliver to me so I seldom get to interact with anyone from the company, but when I have, it's always been a good exchange. (Propane, bottles, tanks. . ."exchange", get it? Never mind.) Today, a friend of mine wanted to refill the tanks on his portable house for an upcoming trip to Upnorth. He usually has the tanks filled at his regular campground but that's not his destination. He was headed to a different vendor was across the next county. I suggested Boehlke Bottled Gas instead so off we went. We checked in at the office and were directed to the dock, right next to the giant tank that also acts as a billboard on Wisconsin 60. A friendly technician met us and measured the remaining gas in the tanks. We found out the tanks needed to be certified, which was handled as they were refilled. Topped off, actually. Quickly, efficiently and for a nominal fee. Whatever your need is for propane gas, grills, tanks, lines, valves, accessories and of course, propane, Boehlke can meet your needs. Give 'em a call.

He offered to put in 100lb bottle for $85 a tank, which is about 1/12 times the propane cost, and would have cost me just about double filling the 100 gallon. I wrote them a letter and explained that along with the hassle of restarting furnace when tank goes empty, also explained I have done all my business with them and the gas station for 26 yrs. Seems no difference or loss to them at all as never even had a call to negotiate an alternative to what he presented me. Only under great duress did he forego the tank emptying charge. I would never do business with this company again and I'm disappointed that a small local business has no integrity.
