They always deliver to me so I seldom get to interact with anyone from the company, but when I have, it's always been a good exchange. (Propane, bottles, tanks. . ."exchange", get it? Never mind.) Today, a friend of mine wanted to refill the tanks on his portable house for an upcoming trip to Upnorth. He usually has the tanks filled at his regular campground but that's not his destination. He was headed to a different vendor was across the next county. I suggested Boehlke Bottled Gas instead so off we went. We checked in at the office and were directed to the dock, right next to the giant tank that also acts as a billboard on Wisconsin 60. A friendly technician met us and measured the remaining gas in the tanks. We found out the tanks needed to be certified, which was handled as they were refilled. Topped off, actually. Nobody has ever been rude or even brusque with me in any of my visits. It does take a while to get set up with a rental, but that's been my experience at every rental place I've been to in 30 years. Even if you sign up online, there is still a lot to take care of at the facility, and given the possible safety consequences of renting some of this equipment you really don't want someone who rushes. Consequently, if' you're expecting liquor store in-and-out speed you may be disappointed. Allow about a half hour just to make sure there's plenty of time for the attendant to do his/her paperwork, get the equipment attached properly and maybe fix something that may not be working perfectly. I've had equipment back a half-hour late on occasion and never been penalized. The equipment I rent (car and motorcycle trailers mostly) is always in top condition and functions perfectly. There is a lot of staff turnover but every person I've worked with has been polite, helpful and accommodating. Recommended!!

After an after-hours call to CHS, they expedited my order and on a Friday night sent out a truck to fill us up. The driver Jim was friendly and courteous. He said we would have run out of gas in 24 hours and the refill likely saved my pipes from freezing over the weekend. They easily could have told me to wait till Monday, but came through for us when we needed them the most. Highly recommended.
