There is always an abundance of machines queued up on the South side & back of the building awaiting service attention. The new equipment showroom is small, but packed to the ceiling with all your lawn & garden needs. You'll find a few bigger new machines displayed on the front lawn too. I've stopped in a few times for parts. They always have my item stocked, but expect to pay full retail. Serious money can be saved by shopping parts online. Although, sometime you just can't wait on shipping & have to overpay. The garden center does have some rental equipment available. Propane re-fills are also available.

When I need more help, I just head down to Ace. But I do like coming to Menards for a larger selection when I know exactly what I need and can ask around if I can't find it. And I usually can't find it on my own. But this place is huge and whatever you're looking for, it's almost always gonna be there.

Nobody has ever been rude or even brusque with me in any of my visits. It does take a while to get set up with a rental, but that's been my experience at every rental place I've been to in 30 years. Even if you sign up online, there is still a lot to take care of at the facility, and given the possible safety consequences of renting some of this equipment you really don't want someone who rushes. Consequently, if' you're expecting liquor store in-and-out speed you may be disappointed. Allow about a half hour just to make sure there's plenty of time for the attendant to do his/her paperwork, get the equipment attached properly and maybe fix something that may not be working perfectly. I've had equipment back a half-hour late on occasion and never been penalized. The equipment I rent (car and motorcycle trailers mostly) is always in top condition and functions perfectly. There is a lot of staff turnover but every person I've worked with has been polite, helpful and accommodating. Recommended!!
