Other rental agencies were very frustrating with terrible communication, delays in returning phone calls or not listening to/answering our questions. Colin at Equipment Rentals was fantastic at listening, providing complete answers to questions, even when I had to call him back several times because the only dance floor option they had remaining available wasn't the ideal solution for us and I wanted to investigate other options. When I finally realized that ER was our best option, particularly because of their customer service, we rented with them. Colin took the time to explain all of the setup and work through logistics with us. Other warehouse personnel were pleasant. Pickup and return was easy and reliable. They even sent us a thank you card after our event. Top notch service and thank you for coming to our wedding rescue!!

So I called the shop and the owner gave me an explanation of how they have to pay disposal fee for lints from the dryer. Her explanation was bunch of BS and makes no sense. It's like going to the laundry mat and 4 quarters for a wash plus10 cents for lint services. Gave 3 stars because of the Bologna environmental fee. I have not inspect my clothes yet. I'll leave another post once I inspect them.

I was frankly a little skeptical about taking my 9-10 year old Craftsman 24" snow blower (that's…read morenever been serviced) to Nelson's after reading all the negative feedback on Yelp, but it wasn't starting up and I had no clue how to fix it. The guy there was nice and helped me get it out of the back of my SUV. When I asked for quote for figuring out why it's not starting up, he said they charge $85/hour and would call me with an estimate once they take a look at it. I dropped it off on Saturday, Mar.14. They called me with a detail quote two business days later on Tuesday, Mar.17. They suggested more efficient and cost effective way of fixing it would be replacing the carb assembly. They also pointed out one of my tires was low which caused the auger scraper to wear unevenly and recommended replacing that as well. Spark plug was original and new one was pretty cheap, so I asked him to replace it, too. By Thursday, Mar.19, they fixed the engine not starting issue with the new card assembly, put in a new spark plug, tire innertube, new auger scraper, flushed the fuel system and put in some non ethanol fuel, which they told me has a 12 month shelf life, so I can keep that in the tank till next season vs regular gas only lasts about 30 - 45 days, so that should always be used up before storing it away after the winter. All that (see the last pic of the invoice for more detail) for $243.08 and some great advice along the way. Hopefully the snow blower will last many more seasons, especially now that I know how to better take care of it. I guess others who left all that negative feedback and low rating had some bad experience, but mine was great and I would certainly recommend giving Nelson Bros a shot! Although I did have an issue with a slightly bent chainsaw bar, they made it right! Their equipment is well maintained, and their service is great. I do not write reviews (This is my first) but felt like they go above and beyond expectations every time I rent a piece of their equipment. (and that has to be hard in their industry!) I appreciate having this resource close to me and the amount of equipment they offer for rental. I would recommend them to any do-it-yourselfer (ME) or professionals that demand well running equipment!
