We had seen the place on Yelp and planned to grab something quick to go, but it turned into a great stop. The location is fantastic and convenient near the airport. The hostess was welcoming right away and directed us to the bar so we could place a quick to-go order. At the bar, the bartender gave excellent service and convinced us to try a couple of tacos along with the yuca fries and plantains we originally planned to order--and I'm glad he did. The Tacos Al Carbón were outstanding: grilled fajita beef with sautéed poblano and onion on flour tortillas topped with pico de gallo and guacamole. The steak was tender and full of flavor. The beans and rice were just right, and the plantains with coconut sauce were a perfect addition. The bartender also recommended a Stone Delicious IPA, which made the short wait enjoyable. We grabbed a Tamarindo agua fresca and bolitas de yuca for the road--light, flavorful, and perfect for the drive. Great food, great service, and a great find near the airport. Definitely worth stopping in.

We tried a Tamarindo fresh water - it was really but costly $7. Then, the Chicken Pozole Verde was delicious - amazing flavors, I almost cry... Oliver's tostada was very good too, the mix of flavor with Guajillo salsa was perfect. As dessert, I had a fried sweet plantains with special sweet cream I will definitely return

Having lived in this area for over ten years, I'd known about this restaurant for a long time, but…read morethis was my first time dining here. I ordered iced tea, and unfortunately, ours was the only table that never received a refill, which was disappointing. Other than that, everything was very satisfying. If the mood strikes, I'd like to come back and try other dishes. The Orange Roughy Ceviche came in a larger portion than it looked in the photos, with a very fruity flavor and plenty of fresh fish and shrimp. Since I can't handle spicy food at all, I had to carefully remove the chopped jalapeños, but there weren't too many, and I was still able to enjoy the dish fully. For my main course, I had the Tropical Salad topped with skirt steak. The honey balsamic vinaigrette paired beautifully with both the steak and the fruit. The meat was tender and of good quality, and I was very pleased with it. My husband ordered the chimichanga. He said the burrito and its filling were high‑quality and delicious, but the chile con queso sauce on top wasn't quite to his taste. The flan we ordered to go was large, not overly sweet, and had a wonderfully toasty caramel flavor -- just the way I like it

It only made 3 tacos but at least they don't charge extra for cheese and sour cream like some other places. I am on the hunt to find the best fish tacos and these were good but I only give them a 6 out of 10. They are pretty messy and too much slaw. The margaritas were not very strong and the spicy one was too sweet.

Thankfully, this joint was near my gate. I don't know who was tending bar, but I flat-out asked him whether I needed to use the QR code ordering system (because I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer), and he was kind enough to take my order -- and deliver it immediately. (Boarding was 15 minutes out.) The menu here looks like it could be a decent nosh. And the atmosphere is clean and inviting. Had AA not left my checked bag on the tarmac for an hour (for a connecting flight), I might've been able to enjoy a light bite here.

Out of all the fastfood options I saw exploring the airport, this one seemed a little bit different. I ordered the guacamole and chips plus the black beans with queso fundido. Two separate orders that I'd say would go very well as one tapas dish only. Those two combined very well. If the chips had an original flavor, home made maybe, it would have elevated the flavors. Also, as soon as I got my water I noticed a little floating white particle. I decided not to drink it. The waitress that assisted me was always cordial and very nice. It wasn't too busy and had enough area to myself to feel relaxed. Again, this is an airport, but inside the sitting area was tranquil enough for me to enjoy my food.
