Arete Digital Imaging did an amazing job on my car. From my first phone call to this place to the point of seeing my car with its finished wrap, I was 100% satisfied with their service. Alex, the sales representative, is very punctual with response and always made sure I am comfortable with their pricing. In fact, the price of the finished work was more than what Alex quoted to me in the beginning, but he made sure I approved of the price before anyone began work to print my design. Carlos was my graphic designer, and I must say this guy is an absolute perfectionist. He acted as though he was making the ad-work for his own vehicle. Moreover, Carlos is a great listener. He listened to my needs so well that the final print came out to be the best that it can be. I was completely blown away. Lastly, though I did not get the names of the people who did the actual wrapping of my car, I can tell from their faces that they take great pride in their work. She told me no appointment was necessary and to come in for a free estimate. I arrived at the address but the company was no longer there despite the sign right above the entrance. In my opinion, ADI is probably the worst printing company I have ever attempted to work with. Our company had contracted ADI to print a wrap for our company truck. On August 12, 2013, we were quoted $2400 for the job. After giving ADI a $1200 deposit, we were promised a mock up after sending our artwork to them, which we did right away. On August 20, 2013 we were again promised the mock up for us to approve. On August 21, I sent an email to Tony asking where our mock-up was. Tony replied, "Hi Laura, Thanks for the follow up. Rich is working on it today, you can expect the first mock up this afternoon or by no later than tomorrow AM. Best, Tony" We waited, waited, and then called them at approx. 2:35pm on August 23, 2013 to find out why we still didn't have artwork to approve. I spoke with Tony who then joked, "I might have it for you today", and then chuckled. I replied that I did not think this matter was funny, and requested our $1200 deposit back. Tony then hung up on me. I called again and spoke to Barbara demanding our $1200 deposit refund. Thankfully, I was issued a refund within minutes. It is quite apparent that Tony doesn't really care if his customer service is bad. He made nothing but empty promises and bad jokes. 8/28/13 Edit. My company was sent a threatening email from Tony, accusing me of slander. "This is not an accurate depiction of the events of that day. This is Slander, have it removed within the next week or we will contact our attorney. This is also very obviously with malicious intent, as you can see in the post. We have already saved copies of this point for our records. Secondly, we had more than several meetings on your design and the guys wanted to knock you sox off, it took a few tries (as does anything worth while). The design was all but done, but after being yelled at, and threatened by Laura I simply agreed to return your deposit, nothing more. It's unfortunate, we try not to just slap someone's logo on the side of a vehicle but rather put a real effort to make it special, as you will find out, our competition does not share that sentiment. I would want to know if any of my employees were representing my company in this manor, so just so you are aware, Laura was literally yelling and making threats after my reply that it would be sent that day. Again, if this is still up by the end of the week, you will hear from our attorney, any charges we accrue will be included in the case. I'm sorry it has come to this John, please know I would prefer this not become even a much larger issue, but we will pursue this. Tony Jollett" Now, how can Tony Jollett accuse me of slander, when I speak the truth? Yes, I yelled at them. They took $1200 of our company's dollars and didn't provide anything. And the part about threats? Yeah, I threatened to write a review on Yelp, contact the Better Business Bureau, and threatened to dispute the charges on our company credit card if a refund was not given immediately. And like I said above, Barbara issued the credit immediately. I have no malicious intent. So not only was the customer service bad, I am now getting threatened with slander for giving a review on Yelp. Is Arete Digital Imaging the kind of company you would want to do business with? 8/28/13 10:29am It gets worse! Here is Tony's latest correspondence with our company, "John, It was not factual in the slightest, that is my concern. It is a malicious and contrived statement meant to harm my business, and it is well with in MY right to sue a company that does such an act for any damages, and that is on a daily basis, every day that is up it cost me (and now YOU money). As I said, I would prefer NOT to go down this road, but I WILL. I will NOT be bullied, Laura called yelling and threatening me, so I took her up on her threat and offered your deposit back, which you got back with in the hour, that is all, I have this on record. Again, for the last time, I DO NOT want to make this a thing, but if it is still up tomorrow you will not hear from me again, you will hear from my attorney. Tony Jollett" I am documenting it all here, so that the Yelp public can see. I will not back down. I will not be threatened, I will not remove this review, and neither will the company I work for. My review is factual. I have receipts and emails to prove it. How I now wish I'd have recorded the heated telephone call I described above! I wish Tony and his crew would have spent this much time and energy on actually getting us a mock-up! Instead they are bullying us with threats of lawsuits to take this review down. Way to go ADI! You and your attorney might want to read up on Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation law in California and a person's right to express opinions on public participation websites such as Yelp. read more

ADI did an okay job on our vehicle wrap. We were not satisfied in the end though. We did not like the splice in the middle of the rear panels. Was told that this was normal. I still have not seen splice work on any of the other wrapped vans that I come across. Requested it to be redone. Got a no. Will not do business again. I felt Yelpers deserve to know this. read more

The guys at ADI are incredibly helpful, talented and so nice. My boss wanted a picture in a book blown up into a huge poster. I talked with Carlos and Edgar and when I went to them they told me they would simply recreate it, the lettering, the shapes and could match the colors to 99%. They worked extremely quickly and the poster came out amazing!! They're prices are so reasonable and they kept me updated every step of the way, even to let me know they were going to reprint it because they weren't happy with the original. Its so nice to find a place where you have amazing customer service and you get really great work for an awesome price. ADI is definitely that place! read more
