Second time using Arevalo for carpet and upholstery cleaning and they were as good the second time as the first. My 19 year old cat had been I'll for quite a while before her death and had left stains on the carpet and a horrible smell in the closet. I had done what I could but they were able to remove both. The treatment didn't leave a horrid coverup smell, just neutral! Yea! My ancient recliner has also been revitalized with great care. Again, I am very pleased with the work Arevalo has done. I was very disappointed with the upholstery cleaning I received from Chem-Dry. The cleaning was not very thorough at all, there were several areas that I had to go over two more times with my wet-vac to finish the job they failed to do. Absolutely not worth the money. read more

This is the second time we used ChemDry. In the middle of this use, a friend of ours booked the steamer guys because they were cheaper (she was helping us out while we were on our honeymoon) Initially the carpets looked good, then suddenly ugghh! Even after they came and redid them, they ended up looking worse. So I called ChemDry and they came and fixed the shotty job by the other crew. Now our carpets look great again! WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG? After years of spot cleaning foot traffic and pet stains with my Little Green, I ended up with an archipelago of gleaming white islands surrounded by a sea of dinginess. After consulting yelp I decided to give Arevalo Bros. a try and I am thrilled with the results. The two-man team (including one of the owners) did a terrific job. They took their time, were professional, and did a very thorough job including moving my bed and dresser so they could clean hidden areas. It's been a few hours since they left and the carpet looks great, smells fresh, and it's almost completely dry. To clean my stairs, bedroom, hallway, and closet it cost me a little under $100. Our home light beige carpeting desperately needed to be cleaned. We are happy that we hired ArevalosBros Chem Dry. They did a very good job if you take in consideration that our carpet is over 10 years old! We weren't expecting miracles but it really looks nice now! We had an excellent experience with Arevalo Bros. One of our cats had been using our sectional as a litter box, and I was worried we would need to entirely replace the cushions. They showed up right on time and assessed our problem before suggesting a couple treatment options. Whatever they did worked like magic. They got out some large older stains and entirely removed the cat urine odor on the cushions. Their service exceeded my expectations, and they even threw in a free bottle of spot cleaner. I've always recommended Arevalo Bros and have been using them at four apartments over quite a few years. I just called to make an appointment and was informed that they now charge a $45 entry fee since I live in a high-rise and they must go up an elevator. Yes, that's right $45 dollars to go up an elevator. This is if you live above the 3rd floor - so it's less work to lug equip up 2 flights of stairs than pushing an elevator button?? I will sadly be looking for another Chemdry cleaners. Bummed. read more

AMAZING company! So professional and caring, they cleaned my upstairs carpet of previous tenants' pet urine stains and pet hair. My wife is highly allergic to pets and when we moved into the apartment we found out about the little surprise of previous pets and she was constantly sick. I can't say enough wonderful things about Arevalo Bros Chem Dry. We had water damage to our carpet and I called them. They were there the next day right in the morning. The stain did not come out, so they came 2 more times (no additional charge) to try to get the stain out. On the third time, they told us that there is still moisture in the walls that is causing the stain to reappear, so once we got that fixed they would come one more time. I am so impressed with their customer service and willingness to do whatever it takes to help. I don't feel like you can say that these days about a lot of companies. I would not recommend this company. They were expensive and didn't remove any stains from my carpet or couch and they ruined the carpet at my entryway. They had to come back to "fix" everything and all stains were still there. I asked for a refund and only got $200 back when I should have received a full refund for this horrible service. We have wool carpeting on our stairs that had dingy wear marks on the edges of each step. I didn't think the wear marks could be improved, and they practically look brand new. This is the first time our carpet has been cleaned in this new house (well, new to us) and it looks brand new! Ignacio and his partner are courteous. Call prior to arriving. They take the time to move furniture if need be and do a most thorough job. We've used Chem-Dry in several homes around the country & I will say, no residue, no stiff carpet, nothing except fluffy, clean carpets. I have used Arevalo Bros for a couple of cleanings for my fully carpeted condo and I can say that the service and quality is outstanding. The guys who come out are professional and very courteous. My condo is 11 years old and has light colored carpeting throughout and after they clean it, it looks brand new. They get stains out that are impossible for me to get out on my own, it's amazing!
