I have two lovely trouble making cats as well as my aunts dog which she brings over every weekend so you can say my home has become one big hair ball. We had a wonderful experience with Carpet Cleaning Chicago. Everything about our experience was first rate. We were looking to hire a reasonably placed company to clean our carpets, area rugs and upholstery. I read the outstanding on-line reviews of this company before I called and they were right on the mark. The process of getting information was fast and easy. Maria was terrific. She provided me a quote including all available discounts, scheduled an appointment quickly to fit my needs, and provided a customized certificate of insurance that my condo building requires within one day. The price was reasonable - less than other quotes I received for the same service. The team of German and Jose were outstanding. They called to keep me updated on their estimated arrival time, which was right in the range that Maria had given me. They worked very hard and efficiently, dividing the work in an orderly way, including cleaning the carpets first so that I could access the carpeted rooms more quickly after they dried. The work was first rate and they were very friendly and helpful. The carpet, rugs and upholstery came out clean after years of neglect. After trying for several years to find the best carpet cleaning service in Chicago, I have found it!!! Having 6 visiting nieces and nephews running amok on the weekends (yeah, OK maybe I tracked some dirt in as well) made certain areas of my condo's carpet a real mess. I mean ground in dirt, spilled food, pop, old cat "spots" etc. Previous cleaners never did a very good job and one even suggested I needed to replace the entire carpet! YIKES! The two guys from Carpet Cleaning Group showed up on time (even a little early- but they called ahead) and were out of here in a little over an hour. The carpet was SPOTLESS!!! EVERYWHERE!!! I have a two bedroom condo with a large dining/living room (which counts as two rooms) and a long connecting hallway that was impossibly dirty. All of it was cleaned like never before. I couldn't be happier. The only thing I would suggest is to use those little styrofoam blocks to keep the furniture off of the freshly shampooed carpet. They sucked up most of the water from the cleaning so the carpet was dry enough to walk on in about 6 hours. This carpet company was the BEST cleaning service I've had in the last 25 years, including that "OTHER" franchise carpet company. I was debating whether to replace my 2000 square feet of tired carpet, but with Thanksgiving right around the corner and after reading all these stellar reviews, I decided to schedule them. I cannot say enough about their punctuality, quality workmanship, meticulous attention to detail and most importantly, the absolutely incredible results. They worked tirelessly for hours making 10-year-old spots virtually disappear and brought back to life so many obvious traffic areas and two sets of worn-out stairs. I have a very nice, white, super-soft wool heavy shag rug (8x10, hand made, $2,000+), and after a year of use it had some traffic soil areas that I was hoping to remove. Also, the rug had become a bit 'matted' and less-than-fluffy in places. I was hoping to find a cleaning company that would a.) not destroy my rug, and b.) get it a bit cleaner and hopefully fluffier. These guys are very nice and helpful, and they came to my apartment in the West Loop (pickup and delivery) on time and as scheduled. Most importantly, my rug is back and it's safe :-) The really good news is that it's definitely cleaner, (but not perfect - it IS a WHITE SHAG RUG after-all), but fluffy and shiny like new! They at least met my expectations in terms of the outcome, and some ways they exceeded them. My rug is probably one of the most difficult types to clean. Other companies may have destroyed it. These guys are fantastic. They showed up right on time, even a tad early, for my appointment. I was rudely on the phone on a business call I couldn't get off of, and they were gracious about that. They set up quietly until my call was finished before turning on the machine. But...most importantly, my carpet looks like new! There were small dirt and unknown stains that I didn't expect to come out and they did 100%. There was also one large cat urine stain (from a departed, elderly sick cat) that looks 10x better, and I was sure there was no hope for that one. I didn't expect a miracle, but I got one. It's almost embarrassing the difference between what they were before and after. Wow. Huge difference. Polite, friendly workers. Good service from the manager. Quality, quality, quality. Like other Yelp users, I made sure to check out the reviews before hiring CCG. I am so glad that I used CCG, they did an AMAZING job on my 2 couches. I honestly wasn't sure if my micro-fiber couch was going to get clean, but these guys were so through and took such care and time to clean my couches it was well worth the investment as it paid for itself. I also want to mention that the 2 gentlemen that came were very polite, on time, wore shoe covers and were so respectful that I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know for couch cleaning services. The guys from Carpet Cleaning Group were scheduled to come out and clean my couch, which was recently urinated on by my elderly cat. They arrived on time and were very friendly. What impressed me the most was their honesty. When I showed them the stains my cat had made they told me not to waste my money because there was no way they could completely remove the deeply penetrated stains and the couch would continue to smell even after the cleaning. They could have taken my money without mentioning the futility of the task so I really appreciate their honesty. Furthermore, since I am pregnant, they even took my old couch out to the alley for me! I submitted a request for a quote online and within a few hours I received a phone call from Maria. She was knowledgeable, offered a quote, and explained cost-saving specials. Once we established a pick-up date, she called to confirm. The delivery guys were awesome! Considerate of Covid -19 precautions, called 20 minutes before arriving, and rolled out the rug to make sure we were happy with the results. And the results were fantastic! We originally had one Persian carpet cleaned and were so happy with the results that we have had them clean several more - all with the same excellent service and results. We recently purchased an "as is" estate sale condominium with the intent of doing much of the needed work ourselves. The carpeting was unbelievably filthy. Our plan was to replace it once painting and other messy work was complete. However, the carpeting was so grossly dirty we were uncomfortable at the thought of working in that environment. This was especially true when considering such tasks as replacing baseboards. Carpet Cleaning Group to the rescue! They came in and performed a miracle. While they were unable to remove every single stain, the difference in appearance before and after cleaning was amazing and the air was much fresher. I called the guys at CCG and spoke to Vytas. He was friendly and very helpful. I needed someone to come in ASAP and Vytas confirmed that they could be there in just a few hours. Our appointment was for 1.00 pm but they called me about 12.00 to see if I would be available sooner. I was, and they came in to clean the carpets (master bedroom and guest bedroom) for us. Vytas and Mike were very courteous and professional. They genuinely cared about having the job well done. They were nice enough to move our beds themselves so they could get the area under. They also got the carpet inside the closet without us even asking them to. They spent nearly an hour to get the two rooms done and they did a very thorough job. I found out that the rug in my living room looks awful and I cannot wash it by myself so I look for cleaning services that offers rug cleaning. I immediately messaged the team and then I talked to the staff and she explains me what would going to happen, I also asks for the price and it's pretty reasonable so I book an appointment right away. During the day of the appointment the staffs came on time and they are nice and friendly. They focus on cleaning the rug. After it, I was amazed by its result. The rug looks really clean and the stains on it are nowhere to be found. It also smells pretty nice too. I am very thankful to the staff and their services. I spoke with Vytus who was a pleasure to deal with and we scheduled the cleaning right away. Vytus and a colleague arrived right on time, they were both very friendly and professional (they even put shoe covers on before coming in the house, it was automatic for them...so considerate). They got right to work and did an outstanding job. We have a dog, and with that come lots of stains on the carpet. All of the stains were removed and the carpet looks great! I don't write reviews on Yelp, but Vytas saves the day again! He just came over on a days notice and cleaned some spots on my bed. Plus a few months back he cleaned my couches, I have 2 dogs so furniture can get pretty gross. He really took his time and made sure it looked great, was super polite and informative, plus he is very neat and clean (ie. used tarp on my floor)! My couch and mattress look brand new, he even got out spots that were 2+ years old. Plus I bought the couch Scotch Guard for a bit extra, it was a great idea, now small stains wipe right off! They do a fabulous job and are now the only people trusted to clean my furniture! I can't say enough! read more
