That kind of service makes banking here easy and personal. Where they fall short is with their application and technology. The online tools and mobile app feel dated compared to other banks and credit unions. It all works, but it could definitely use an upgrade to be more user-friendly and modern. Overall, the people at this branch make the experience a positive one, but the technology side keeps me from giving a full five stars.

They always seem to be conveniently located, no matter which town/state I move to. 3. The B of A staff has never let me down, including this particular location. When I had to pull out a lot of money they kindly offered me a private room with locking door to count the bills. I may have used part of the counting time to throw the bills up in the air and dance with abandon as money rained down. 4. Keep the Change Savings Program. 5. Gold bars are just way too heavy to to bring to the grocery store.

As a member of Call Federal Credit Union, I visited Argent because it operates as a service center. When I arrived, I asked the teller, Teresa, if they could cash a check, and she confirmed that they could. However, after she processed everything, she handed me a receipt showing that the check had been deposited and that the funds would not be available until May 30. I immediately asked why the check had been deposited instead of cashed, as I clearly stated I needed the funds immediately. Teresa simply looked at me and said, "Oh well," which I found extremely unprofessional, dismissive and very disrespectful. Another teller nearby witnessed the interaction but said nothing. The following day, I called to clarify the situation and was told that the check wouldn't be available until June 6--an even longer delay than originally stated. This miscommunication and lack of accountability were incredibly frustrating. To be honest, from the moment I walked in, I sensed an unwelcoming and racially charged atmosphere. As a Black customer, I did not feel treated with the same courtesy and respect that others seemed to receive. No one deserves to be dismissed or disrespected, especially in a professional financial setting. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Argent Credit Union--particularly to people of color. I hope this review encourages the institution to re-evaluate their customer service approach and ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.

When our free safe deposit box expires, that's bye-bye too. The only reason we come to this bank is to pay our mortgage and credit card. We would mail them, but these not showing up or paid much later than they should changed that. (Please note that this downturn started WAY before C-19.) Now they have closed all but a few locations on Satutdays, and even more recently changed Friday's closing time from 1800 hrs to 1700. I presently am sitting in a the drive thru for the last 35 minutes. This bank (and Wells Fargo) has gone to crap!
